And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,

''Habla al pueblo de Israel, diciendo: 'Estas son las cosas vivientes que ustedes puedan comer de entre todos los animales que están en la tierra.
Hablad á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Estos son los animales que comeréis de todos los animales que están sobre la tierra.
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘These are the living things which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth.
Ustedes pueden comer cualquier animal que tenga pezuña dividida y que también mastica el bolo alimenticio.
De entre los animales, todo el de pezuña, y que tiene las pezuñas hendidas, y que rumia, éste comeréis.
Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
Whatever parts the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and chews the cud among the animals, that you may eat.
Sin embargo, algunos animales, ya sea que mastiquen el bolo alimenticio o que tengan la pezuña dividida, no los debes comer, animales tales como el camello, porque mastica el bolo alimenticio pero no tiene la pezuña dividida. Así que el camello es impuro para ustedes.
Estos empero no comeréis de los que rumian, y de los que tienen pezuña: el camello, porque rumia mas no tiene pezuña hendida, habéis de tenerlo por inmundo;
Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
“‘Nevertheless these you shall not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those who part the hoof: the camel, because it chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.
Tambien el tejón de roca, porque mastica el bolo alimenticio pero no tiene pezuña dividida, tambien es impuro para ustedes.
También el conejo, porque rumia, mas no tiene pezuña, tendréislo por inmundo;
And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
The hyrax, because it chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.
El conejo, porque mastica el bolo alimenticio, pero no tiene pezuña dividida, es impuro para ustedes.
Asimismo la liebre, porque rumia, mas no tiene pezuña, tendréisla por inmunda;
And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
The hare, because it chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.
El cerdo, a pesar de que tiene la pezuña dividida, no mastica el bolo alimenticio, es impuro para ustedes.
También el puerco, porque tiene pezuñas, y es de pezuñas hendidas, mas no rumia, tendréislo por inmundo.
And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
The pig, because it has a split hoof, and is cloven-footed, but doesn’t chew the cud, is unclean to you.
Ustedes no deben comer ninguna de sus carnes, ni tocar sus cadáveres. Ellos son impuros para ustedes.
De la carne de ellos no comeréis, ni tocaréis su cuerpo muerto: tendréislos por inmundos.
Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
You shall not eat their meat. You shall not touch their carcasses. They are unclean to you.
Los animales que viven en el agua que ustedes pueden comer son todos esos que tienen aletas y escamas, ya sean del océano o en los ríos.
Esto comeréis de todas las cosas que están en las aguas: todas las cosas que tienen aletas y escamas en las aguas de la mar, y en los ríos, aquellas comeréis;
These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
“‘You may eat of all these that are in the waters: whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that you may eat.
Pero todas las criaturas vivientes que no tienen aletas y escamas en los océanos o ríos, incluyendo todo lo que se mueve en el agua y todas las criaturas vivas que están en el agua ellos deben ser detestadas por ustedes.
Mas todas las cosas que no tienen aletas ni escamas en la mar y en los ríos, así de todo reptil de agua como de toda cosa viviente que está en las aguas, las tendréis en abominación.
And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
All that don’t have fins and scales in the seas and rivers, all that move in the waters, and all the living creatures that are in the waters, they are an abomination to you,
Ya que deben ser detestadas, ustedes no deben comer de su carne; también sus cadáveres deben ser detestados.
Os serán, pues, en abominación: de su carne no comeréis, y abominaréis sus cuerpos muertos.
They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
and you shall detest them. You shall not eat of their meat, and you shall detest their carcasses.
Todo lo que no tiene aletas o escamas en el agua debe ser detestado por ustedes.
Todo lo que no tuviere aletas y escamas en las aguas, tendréislo en abominación.
Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters is an abomination to you.
Las aves que debes detestar y las que no pueden comer son estas; el águila, el buitre,
Y de las aves, éstas tendréis en abominación; no se comerán, serán abominación: el águila, el quebrantahuesos, el esmerejón,
And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
“‘You shall detest these among the birds; they shall not be eaten because they are an abomination: the eagle, the vulture, the black vulture,
el milano, todo tipo de falcón,
El milano, y el buitre según su especie;
And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
the red kite, any kind of black kite,
todo tipo de cuervo,
Todo cuervo según su especie;
Every raven after his kind;
any kind of raven,
el búho cornudo y la lechuza campestre, la gaviota, y cualquier clase de halcón.
El avestruz, y la lechuza, y el laro, y el gavilán según su especie,
And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk,
Ustedes también deben detestar al pequeño búho y al gran búho, al cormorán,
Y el buho, y el somormujo, y el ibis,
And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl,
el búho blanco y la lechuza común, el quebrantahuesos,
Y el calamón, y el cisne, y el onocrótalo,
And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
the white owl, the desert owl, the osprey,
la cigueña, cualquier clase de garza, la abubilla, y también el murciélago.
Y el herodión, y el caradrión, según su especie, y la abubilla, y el murciélago.
And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe, and the bat.
Todos los insectos alados que caminan en cuatro patas serán detestables para ustedes.
Todo reptil alado que anduviere sobre cuatro pies, tendréis en abominación.
All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.
“‘All flying insects that walk on all fours are an abomination to you.
Aún así, ustedes pueden comer cualquiera de los insectos voladores que también caminan en cuatro patas si estos tienen patas articuladas para saltar en el suelo.
Empero esto comeréis de todo reptil alado que anda sobre cuatro pies, que tuviere piernas además de sus pies para saltar con ellas sobre la tierra;
Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
Yet you may eat these: of all winged creeping things that go on all fours, which have long, jointed legs for hopping on the earth.
Pueden comer también cualquier tipo de langosta, grillos, o saltamontes.
Estos comeréis de ellos: la langosta según su especie, y el langostín según su especie, y el aregol según su especie, y el haghab según su especie.
Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
Even of these you may eat: any kind of locust, any kind of katydid, any kind of cricket, and any kind of grasshopper.
Pero todos los insectos voladores que tienen cuatro patas deben ser detestados por ustedes.
Todo reptil alado que tenga cuatro pies, tendréis en abominación.
But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.
But all winged creeping things which have four feet are an abomination to you.
Ustedes serán impuros hasta el atardecer por estos animales si ustedes tocan el cadáver de uno de ellos.
Y por estas cosas seréis inmundos: cualquiera que tocare á sus cuerpos muertos, será inmundo hasta la tarde:
And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.
“‘By these you will become unclean: whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening.
Quien sea que recoja uno de sus cadáveres deben lavar su ropa y permanecerá impuro hasta el atardecer.
Y cualquiera que llevare de sus cuerpos muertos, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde.
And whosoever beareth ought of the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever carries any part of their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.
Cada animal que tenga una pezuña dividida que no esté completamente dividida o que no mastique el bolo alimenticio, es impuro para ustedes. Todo el que los toque será impuro.
Todo animal de pezuña, pero que no tiene pezuña hendida, ni rumia, tendréis por inmundo: cualquiera que los tocare será inmundo.
The carcases of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
“‘Every animal which has a split hoof that isn’t completely divided, or doesn’t chew the cud, is unclean to you. Everyone who touches them shall be unclean.
Lo que sea que camine en sus garras de entre todos los animales que caminan en sus cuatro patas, ellos son impuros para ustedes. Quienquiera que toque tal cadáver estará impuro hasta el atardecer.
Y de todos los animales que andan á cuatro pies, tendréis por inmundo cualquiera que ande sobre sus garras: cualquiera que tocare sus cuerpos muertos, será inmundo hasta la tarde.
And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.
Whatever goes on its paws, among all animals that go on all fours, they are unclean to you. Whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening.
Quienquiera que recoja tal cadáver debe lavar sus ropas y será impuro hasta el atardecer. Estos animales serán impuros para ustedes.
Y el que llevare sus cuerpos muertos, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde: habéis de tenerlos por inmundos.
And he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.
He who carries their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. They are unclean to you.
De los animales que se arrastran en el suelo, estos son los animales que serán impuros para ustedes: el topo, la rata, toda clase de lagarto grande,
Y estos tendréis por inmundos de los reptiles que van arrastrando sobre la tierra: la comadreja, y el ratón, y la rana según su especie,
These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
“‘These are they which are unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard,
el geco, el lagarto monitor, el lagarto, reptiles y el camaleón.
Y el erizo, y el lagarto, y el caracol, y la babosa, y el topo.
And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
the gecko, and the monitor lizard, the wall lizard, the skink, and the chameleon.
De todos los animales que se arrastran, estos son los animales los cuales serán impuros para ustedes. Quienquiera que los toque cuando estén muertos será impuro hasta el atardecer.
Estos tendréis por inmundos de todos los reptiles: cualquiera que los tocare, cuando estuvieren muertos, será inmundo hasta la tarde.
These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.
These are they which are unclean to you among all that creep. Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until the evening.
Si alguno de ellos muere y cae sobre cualquier cosa, esa cosa será impura, sea que esté hecha de madera, paño, cuero, o saco. Lo que sea y para lo que sea su uso, debe ser puesto en agua; eso será impuro hasta el atardecer. Entonces será limpio.
Y todo aquello sobre que cayere alguno de ellos después de muertos, será inmundo; así vaso de madera, como vestido, ó piel, ó saco, cualquier instrumento con que se hace obra, será metido en agua, y será inmundo hasta la tarde, y así será limpio.
And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.
Anything they fall on when they are dead shall be unclean; whether it is any vessel of wood, or clothing, or skin, or sack, whatever vessel it is, with which any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening. Then it will be clean.
Para toda vasija de barro dentro o sobre en la cual cualquier animal impuro cae, lo que sea que esté en la vasija será impuro, y ustedes deben destruir esa vasija.
Y toda vasija de barro dentro de la cual cayere alguno de ellos, todo lo que estuviere en ella será inmundo, y quebraréis la vasija:
And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.
Every earthen vessel into which any of them falls and all that is in it shall be unclean. You shall break it.
Toda comida que es limpia y permitida ser comida, pero en la cual el agua de una vasija impura ha caído, entonces será impura. Todo lo que pueda ser bebido de tales vasijas será impuras.
Toda vianda que se come, sobre la cual viniere el agua de tales vasijas, será inmunda: y toda bebida que se bebiere, será en todas esas vasijas inmunda:
Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
All food which may be eaten which is soaked in water shall be unclean. All drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
Todo en lo que alguna parte del cadáver de un animal impuro caiga, entonces será impuro, sea en un horno o vasijas de cocinar. Deben ser rotas en pedazos. Es impuro y debe ser impuro para ustedes.
Y todo aquello sobre que cayere algo del cuerpo muerto de ellos, será inmundo: el horno ú hornillos se derribarán; son inmundos, y por inmundos los tendréis.
And every thing whereupon any part of their carcase falleth shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.
Everything whereupon part of their carcass falls shall be unclean; whether oven, or range for pots, it shall be broken in pieces. They are unclean, and shall be unclean to you.
Una fuente o cisterna de donde se recoge agua se mantendrá limpia si tal criatura cae en ella. Pero si alguno tocara el cadáver de un animal impuro en el agua, él será impuro.
Con todo, la fuente y la cisterna donde se recogen aguas, serán limpias: mas lo que hubiere tocado en sus cuerpos muertos será inmundo.
Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcase shall be unclean.
Nevertheless a spring or a cistern in which water is gathered shall be clean, but that which touches their carcass shall be unclean.
Si cualquier parte de un cadáver impuro cae sobre alguna semilla para plantío, esas semillas seguirán siendo limpias.
Y si cayere de sus cuerpos muertos sobre alguna simiente que se haya de sembrar, será limpia.
And if any part of their carcase fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
If part of their carcass falls on any sowing seed which is to be sown, it is clean.
Pero si se pone agua en las semillas, y si cualquier parte de un cadáver impuro cae en ella, entonces serán impuras para ustedes.
Mas si se hubiere puesto agua en la simiente, y cayere de sus cuerpos muertos sobre ella, tendréisla por inmunda.
But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.
But if water is put on the seed, and part of their carcass falls on it, it is unclean to you.
Si algún animal que puedas comer muere, entonces quien toque el cadáver será impuro hasta el atardecer.
Y si algún animal que tuviereis para comer se muriere, el que tocare su cuerpo muerto será inmundo hasta la tarde:
And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
“‘If any animal of which you may eat dies, he who touches its carcass shall be unclean until the evening.
Quien coma algo de ese cadáver debe lavar sus ropas y será impuro hasta el atardecer. Quien levante tal cadáver lavará sus ropas y será impuro hasta el atardecer.
Y el que comiere de su cuerpo muerto, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde: asimismo el que sacare su cuerpo muerto, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde.
And he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
He who eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. He also who carries its carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.
Todo animal que se arrastre en el suelo será detestado; no se podrá comer.
Y todo reptil que va arrastrando sobre la tierra, es abominación; no se comerá.
And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
“‘Every creeping thing that creeps on the earth is an abomination. It shall not be eaten.
Lo que sea que se arrastre sobre su vientre, y lo que sea que camine en todas sus cuatro patas, o lo que tenga muchos pies- todos los animales que se arrastran en el suelo, estos no los deben comer, porque son para ser detestados.
Todo lo que anda sobre el pecho, y todo lo que anda sobre cuatro ó más pies, de todo reptil que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra, no lo comeréis, porque es abominación.
Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
Whatever goes on its belly, and whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet, even all creeping things that creep on the earth, them you shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
Ustedes no se harán impuros a ustedes mismos con cada criatura viviente que se arrastre; ustedes no se harán a ustedes mismos impuros con ellos, que ustedes deban ser hechos impuros por ellos.
No ensuciéis vuestras personas con ningún reptil que anda arrastrando, ni os contaminéis con ellos, ni seáis inmundos por ellos.
Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.
You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps. You shall not make yourselves unclean with them, that you should be defiled by them.
Porque Yo soy el SEÑOR tu Dios. Ustedes se mantendrán a sí mismos santos, por lo tanto, sean santos, porque Yo soy santo. Ustedes no se deben contaminar a sí mismos con cualquier tipo de animal que se mueva en el suelo.
Pues que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios, vosotros por tanto os santificaréis, y seréis santos, porque yo soy santo: así que no ensuciéis vuestras personas con ningún reptil que anduviere arrastrando sobre la tierra.
For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
For I am the LORD your God. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any kind of creeping thing that moves on the earth.
Porque Yo soy el SEÑOR, quien les trajo fuera de la tierra de Egipto, para ser tu Dios. Ustedes por lo tanto sean santos, porque Yo soy santo.
Porque yo soy Jehová, que os hago subir de la tierra de Egipto para seros por Dios: seréis pues santos, porque yo soy santo.
For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

Esta es la ley acerca de los animales, las aves, toda criatura viviente que se mueve en las aguas, y toda criatura que se arrastra en el suelo,
Esta es la ley de los animales y de las aves, y de todo ser viviente que se mueve en las aguas, y de todo animal que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra;
This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:
“‘This is the law of the animal, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps on the earth,
para que se haga una distnción entre lo impuro y lo puro, y entre las cosas vivientes que se deben comer y las cosas vivientes que no se puedan comer.'"
Para hacer diferencia entre inmundo y limpio, y entre los animales que se pueden comer y los animales que no se pueden comer.
To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.
to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.’”
