Levítico 11

et le lièvre, car il rumine, mais il n’a pas l’ongle fendu ; il vous est impur :

Asimismo la liebre, porque rumia, mas no tiene pezuña, tendréisla por inmunda;

And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

The hare, because it chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.
