1La misericordia, y la paz, y la caridad sean colmadas en vosotros.
2Carísimos, habiendo deseado vivamente antes de ahora escribiros acerca de vuestra común salud, me hallo en la necesidad de practicarlo, para exhortaros a que peleéis valerosamente por la fe, o doctrina, que ha sido enseñada una vez a los santos.
3Porque se han entrometido con disimulo ciertos hombres impíos (de quienes estaba ya muy de antemano predicho que vendrían a caer en este juicio o condenación), los cuales cambian la gracia de nuestro Dios en una desenfrenada licencia, y reniegan, o renuncian, a Jesucristo, nuestro único soberano y Señor.
4Sobre lo cual quiero haceros memoria, puesto que fuisteis ya instruidos en todas estas cosas, que habiendo Jesús sacado a salvo al pueblo hebreo de la tierra de Egipto, destruyó después a los que fueron incrédulos,
5y a los ángeles, que no conservaron su primera dignidad, sino que desampararon su morada, los reservó para el juicio del gran día, en el abismo tenebroso, con cadenas eternales.
6Así como también Sodoma y Gomorra, y las ciudades cercanas, siendo reas de los mismos excesos de impureza y entregadas al pecado, vinieron a servir de escarmiento, sufriendo la pena del fuego eterno.
7De la misma manera manchan éstos también su carne, menosprecian la dominación y blasfeman contra la majestad.
8Cuando el arcángel Miguel disputando con el diablo altercaba sobre el cuerpo de Moisés, no se atrevió a proferir contra él sentencia de maldición, sino que le dijo solamente: Te reprima el Señor.
9Estos, al contrario, blasfeman de todo lo que no conocen; y abusan, como brutos animales, de todas aquellas cosas que conocen por razón natural.
10Desdichados de ellos, que han seguido el camino de Caín, y perdidos como Balaam por el deseo de una sórdida recompensa, se desenfrenaron, e imitando la rebelión de Coré perecerán como aquél.
11Estos son los que contaminan y deshonran vuestros convites de caridad cuando asisten a ellos sin vergüenza, cebándose a sí mismos, nubes sin agua, llevadas de aquí para allá por los vientos; árboles otoñales, infructuosos, dos veces muertos, sin raíces;
12olas bravas de la mar, que arrojan las espumas de sus torpezas; exhalaciones errantes, a quienes está reservada, o ha de seguir, una tenebrosísima tempestad que ha de durar para siempre.
13También profetizó de éstos Enoc, que es el séptimo a contar desde Adán, diciendo: Mirad que viene el Señor con millares de sus santos,
14a juzgar a todos los hombres, y a argüir a todos los malvados de todas las obras de su impiedad, que impíamente hicieron, y de todas las injuriosas expresiones que profirieron contra Dios los impíos pecadores.
15Estos son unos murmuradores quejumbrosos, arrastrados de sus pasiones, y su boca profiere a cada paso palabras orgullosas, los cuales se muestran admiradores o adulan a ciertas personas según conviene a sus propios intereses.
16Vosotros, queridos míos, acordaos de las palabras que os fueron antes dichas por los apóstoles de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,
17los cuales os decían que en los últimos tiempos han de venir unos impostores, que seguirán sus pasiones llenas de impiedad.
18Estos son los que se separan a sí mismos de la grey de Jesucristo, hombres sensuales, que no tienen el espíritu de Dios.
19Vosotros al contrario, carísimos, elevándoos a vosotros mismos como un edificio espiritual sobre el fundamento de nuestra santísima fe, orando en el Espíritu Santo,
20manteneos constantes en el amor de Dios, esperando la misericordia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo para alcanzar la vida eterna.
21Y aquellos que están endurecidos y ya sentenciados, corregidlos y reprendedlos con vigor;
22a los unos ponedlos a salvo, arrebatándolos de entre las llamas; y tened lástima de los demás temiendo por vosotros mismos, aborreciendo aun o huyendo hasta de la ropa, que está contaminada con la corrupción de la carne.
23En fin, al que es poderoso para conservaros sin pecado, y presentaros sin mancha y llenos de júbilo ante el trono de su gloria en la venida de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,
24al solo Dios, salvador nuestro, por Jesucristo nuestro Señor, sea dada la gloria y magnificencia, imperio y potestad antes de todos los siglos, y ahora, por todos los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
25Revelación de Jesucristo, la cual ha recibido de Dios su Padre, para descubrir a sus siervos cosas que deben suceder pronto, y la ha manifestado a su Iglesia por medio de su ángel enviado a Juan siervo suyo;

1JUDAS, siervo de Jesucristo, y hermano de Jacobo, á los llamados, santificados en Dios Padre, y conservados en Jesucristo:
2Misericordia, y paz, y amor os sean multiplicados.
3Amados, por la gran solicitud que tenía de escribiros de la común salud, me ha sido necesario escribiros amonestándoos que contendáis eficazmente por la fe que ha sido una vez dada á los santos.
4Porque algunos hombres han entrado encubiertamente, los cuales desde antes habían estado ordenados para esta condenación, hombres impíos, convirtiendo la gracia de nuestro Dios en disolución, y negando á Dios que solo es el que tiene dominio, y á nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
5Os quiero pues amonestar, ya que alguna vez habéis sabido esto, que el Señor habiendo salvado al pueblo de Egipto, después destruyó á los que no creían:
6Y á los ángeles que no guardaron su dignidad, mas dejaron su habitación, los ha reservado debajo de oscuridad en prisiones eternas hasta el juicio del gran día:
7Como Sodoma y Gomorra, y las ciudades comarcanas, las cuales de la misma manera que ellos habían fornicado, y habían seguido la carne extraña, fueron puestas por ejemplo, sufriendo el juicio del fuego eterno.
8De la misma manera también estos soñadores amancillan la carne, y menosprecian la potestad, y vituperan las potestades superiores.
9Pero cuando el arcángel Miguel contendía con el diablo, disputando sobre el cuerpo de Moisés, no se atrevió á usar de juicio de maldición contra él, sino que dijo: El Señor te reprenda.
10Pero éstos maldicen las cosas que no conocen; y las cosas que naturalmente conocen, se corrompen en ellas, como bestias brutas.
11¡Ay de ellos! porque han seguido el camino de Caín, y se lanzaron en el error de Balaam por recompensa, y perecieron en la contradicción de Coré.
12Estos son manchas en vuestros convites, que banquetean juntamente, apacentándose á sí mismos sin temor alguno: nubes sin agua, las cuales son llevadas de acá para allá de los vientos: árboles marchitos como en otoño, sin fruto, dos veces muertos y desarraigados;
13Fieras ondas de la mar, que espuman sus mismas abominaciones; estrellas erráticas, á las cuales es reservada eternalmente la oscuridad de las tinieblas.
14De los cuales también profetizó Enoc, séptimo desde Adam, diciendo: He aquí, el Señor es venido con sus santos millares,
15A hacer juicio contra todos, y á convencer á todos los impíos de entre ellos tocante á todas sus obras de impiedad que han hecho impíamente, y á todas las cosas duras que los pecadores impíos han hablado contra él.
16Estos son murmuradores, querellosos, andando según sus deseos; y su boca habla cosas soberbias, teniendo en admiración las personas por causa del provecho.
17Mas vosotros, amados, tened memoria de las palabras que antes han sido dichas por los apóstoles de nuestro Señor Jesucristo;
18Como os decían: Que en el postrer tiempo habría burladores, que andarían según sus malvados deseos.
19Estos son los que hacen divisiones, sensuales, no teniendo el Espíritu.
20Mas vosotros, oh amados, edificándoos sobre vuestra santísima fe, orando por el Espíritu Santo,
21Conservaos en el amor de Dios, esperando la misericordia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, para vida eterna.
22Y recibid á los unos en piedad, discerniendo:
23Mas haced salvos á los otros por temor, arrebatándolos del fuego; aborreciendo aun la ropa que es contaminada de la carne.
24A aquel, pues, que es poderoso para guardaros sin caída, y presentaros delante de su gloria irreprensibles, con grande alegría,
25Al Dios solo sabio, nuestro Salvador, sea gloria y magnificencia, imperio y potencia, ahora y en todos los siglos. Amén.

1Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
17But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

1Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:
2May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
3Beloved, while I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I was constrained to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
4For there are certain men who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into indecency, and denying our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ.
5Now I desire to remind you, though you already know this, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who didn’t believe.
6Angels who didn’t keep their first domain, but deserted their own dwelling place, he has kept in everlasting bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day.
7Even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, having in the same way as these given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are shown as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.
8Yet in the same way, these also in their dreaming defile the flesh, despise authority, and slander celestial beings.
9But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said, “May the Lord rebuke you!”
10But these speak evil of whatever things they don’t know. They are destroyed in these things that they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason.
11Woe to them! For they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in Korah’s rebellion.
12These are hidden rocky reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you, shepherds who without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever.
14About these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones,
15to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”
16These are murmurers and complainers, walking after their lusts—and their mouth speaks proud things—showing respect of persons to gain advantage.
17But you, beloved, remember the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.
18They said to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, walking after their own ungodly lusts.”
19These are those who cause divisions and are sensual, not having the Spirit.
20But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.
21Keep yourselves in God’s love, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
22On some have compassion, making a distinction,
23and some save, snatching them out of the fire with fear, hating even the clothing stained by the flesh.
24Now to him who is able to keep them from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory in great joy,
25to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.
