3Et étant revenus auprès de Josué, ils lui dirent : Il n'y a pas lieu de mettre tout le peuple en campagne ; deux ou trois mille hommes environ n'ont qu'à marcher et ils réduiront Aï ; n'en donne pas la fatigue à tout le peuple, car il n'y a que peu de monde.

3Y volviendo á Josué, dijéronle: No suba todo el pueblo, mas suban como dos mil ó como tres mil hombres, y tomarán á Hai: no fatigues á todo el pueblo allí, porque son pocos.

3And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few.
World English Bible
3They returned to Joshua, and said to him, “Don’t let all the people go up, but let about two or three thousand men go up and strike Ai. Don’t make all the people to toil there, for there are only a few of them.”
