26Et dans ce même temps Josué fit un serment en ces termes : Maudit soit devant l'Éternel celui qui entreprendra de relever cette ville de Jéricho ! Qu'au prix de son premier-né il en pose les fondements, et qu'au prix de son plus jeune fils il en replace les portes !

26Y en aquel tiempo Josué les juramentó diciendo: Maldito delante de Jehová el hombre que se levantare y reedificare esta ciudad de Jericó. En su primogénito eche sus cimientos, y en su menor asiente sus puertas.

26And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.
World English Bible
26Joshua commanded them with an oath at that time, saying, “Cursed is the man before the LORD who rises up and builds this city Jericho. With the loss of his firstborn he will lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he will set up its gates.”
