Kam nicht, als Achan, der Sohn Serahs, am Gebannten sich vergriff, ein Zorn (Gottes) über die ganze Gemeinde Israels, wiewohl er nur ein einzelner Mann war? Starb er nicht für seine Missetat? (a) Jos 7

¿No cometió Achân, hijo de Zera, prevaricación en el anatema, y vino ira sobre toda la congregación de Israel? y aquel hombre no pereció solo en su iniquidad.

Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity.
