1Da traten die obersten Väter unter den Leviten zu Eleasar, dem Priester, und zu Josua, dem Sohne Nuns, und zu den Familienhäuptern der Stämme der Kinder Israel
2und redeten mit ihnen zu Silo, im Lande Kanaan, und sprachen: Der HERR hat durch Mose geboten, daß man uns Städte geben soll, um darin zu wohnen, und die zugehörigen Weideplätze für unser Vieh.
3Da gaben die Kinder Israel den Leviten von ihrem Erbteil, nach dem Befehl des HERRN, diese Städte samt ihren Weideplätzen.
4Das Los aber fiel für das Geschlecht der Kahatiter; und die Kinder Aarons, des Priesters, unter den Leviten erhielten durch das Los dreizehn Städte vom Stamme Juda, vom Stamme Simeon und vom Stamme Benjamin.
5Den übrigen Kindern Kahats aber wurden durch das Los zehn Städte gegeben, von den Geschlechtern des Stammes Ephraim, vom Stamm Asser und vom Stamm Naphtali und vom halben Stamm Manasse zu Basan.
6Aber den Kindern Gersons wurden durch das Los dreizehn Städte gegeben von den Geschlechtern des Stammes Issaschar, vom Stamm Asser und vom Stamm Naphtali und vom halben Stamm Manasse zu Basan.
7Den Kindern Merari nach ihren Geschlechtern wurden zwölf Städte vom Stamme Ruben, vom Stamme Gad und vom Stamme Sebulon gegeben.
8Also gaben die Kinder Israel den Leviten durch das Los diese Städte samt ihren Weideplätzen, wie der HERR durch Mose geboten hatte.
9Vom Stamm der Kinder Juda und vom Stamm der Kinder Simeon traten sie folgende Städte ab, die sie mit Namen nannten.
10Und sie wurden den Kindern Aarons, vom Geschlecht der Kahatiter, aus den Kindern Levi zuteil; denn das erste Los fiel auf sie.
11So gaben sie ihnen nun die Stadt Arbas, des Vaters Enaks, das ist Hebron, auf dem Gebirge Juda und ihre Weideplätze um sie her.
12Aber den Acker und ihre Dörfer gaben sie Kaleb, dem Sohn Jephunnes, zu seiner Besitzung.
13Also gaben sie den Kindern des Priesters Aaron Hebron, die Freistadt der Totschläger, und seine Weideplätze, Libna und seine Weideplätze,
14Jattir und seine Weideplätze, Estemoa und seine Weideplätze,
15Holon und seine Weideplätze,
16Debir und seine Weideplätze, Ain und seine Weideplätze, Jutta und seine Weideplätze, Beth-Semes und seine Weideplätze, neun Städte von diesen zwei Stämmen.
17Von dem Stamme Benjamin aber gaben sie Gibeon und seine Weideplätze, Geba und seine Weideplätze, Anatot und seine Weideplätze;
18vier Städte;
19so daß der Städte der Kinder Aarons, der Priester, dreizehn waren, samt ihren Weideplätzen.
20Den Geschlechtern aber der Kinder Kahats, den Leviten, welche von den Kindern Kahats noch übrig waren, wurden die Städte ihres Loses von dem Stamme Ephraim zuteil.
21Und sie gaben ihnen Sichem, die Freistadt der Totschläger, und seine Weideplätze auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, ferner Geser und seine Weideplätze,
22Kibzaim und seine Weideplätze, Beth-Horon und seine Weideplätze; vier Städte.
23Und von dem Stamme Dan: Elteke und seine Weideplätze, Gibbeton und seine Weideplätze;
24Ajalon und seine Weideplätze, Gat-Rimmon und seine Weideplätze; vier Städte.
25Von dem halben Stamm Manasse aber zwei Städte: Taanach und seine Weideplätze, Gat-Rimmon und seine Weideplätze.
26Im ganzen zehn Städte samt ihren Weideplätzen für die übrigen Kinder des Geschlechtes Kahats.
27Den Kindern Gersons aber, aus den Geschlechtern der Leviten, wurden von dem halben Stamm Manasse zwei Städte gegeben: Golan in Basan, die Freistadt für die Totschläger, und seine Weideplätze, dazu Beestera und seine Weideplätze;
28vom Stamm Issaschar aber Kisjon und seine Weideplätze, Daberat und seine Weideplätze,
29Jarmut und seine Weideplätze, Engannim und seine Weideplätze; vier Städte.
30Und vom Stamm Asser: Miseal und seine Weideplätze, Abdon und seine Weideplätze,
31Helkat und seine Weideplätze, Rechob und seine Weideplätze; vier Städte.
32Vom Stamm Naphtali aber Kedesch in Galiläa, die Freistadt der Totschläger, und seine Weideplätze, Hammot-Dor und seine Weideplätze, Kartan und seine Weideplätze; drei Städte,
33so daß die Gesamtzahl der Städte der Geschlechter der Gersoniter war: dreizehn Städte samt ihren Weideplätzen.
34Den Geschlechtern aber der Kinder Meraris, den übrigen Leviten, wurden vom Stamme Sebulon gegeben: Jokneam und seine Weideplätze, Karta und seine Weideplätze,
35Dimna und seine Weideplätze, Nahalal und seine Weideplätze; vier Städte;
36und vom Stamme Ruben: Bezer und seine Weideplätze, Jahza und seine Weideplätze,
37Kedemot und seine Weideplätze, Mephaar und seine Weideplätze; vier Städte;
38vom Stamme Gad aber Ramot in Gilead, die Freistadt für die Totschläger, und seine Weideplätze, Mahanaim und seine Weideplätze,
39Hesbon und seine Weideplätze; Jaeser und seine Weideplätze; zusammen vier Städte.
40Alle Städte der Kinder Meraris unter ihren Geschlechtern, die noch übrig waren von den Geschlechtern der Leviten, nach ihrem Los: zwölf Städte.
41Also betrug die Gesamtzahl der Städte der Leviten unter dem Erbteil der Kinder Israel achtundvierzig, samt ihren Weideplätzen.
42Es war aber mit diesen Städten so, daß eine jede ihre Weideplätze um sich her hatte, eine wie die andere.
43Also gab der HERR den Kindern Israel das ganze Land, von dem er geschworen hatte, es ihren Vätern zu geben, und sie nahmen es ein und wohnten darin.
44Und der HERR verschaffte ihnen Ruhe ringsum, ganz so, wie er ihren Vätern geschworen hatte, und es bestand keiner ihrer Feinde vor ihnen, sondern der HERR gab alle ihre Feinde in ihre Hand.
45Es fehlte nichts an all dem Guten, das der HERR dem Hause Israel versprochen hatte. Es kam alles.

1Y LOS principales de los padres de los Levitas vinieron á Eleazar sacerdote, y á Josué hijo de Nun, y á los principales de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel;
2Y habláronles en Silo en la tierra de Canaán, diciendo: Jehová mandó por Moisés que nos fuesen dadas villas para habitar, con sus ejidos para nuestras bestias.
3Entonces los hijos de Israel dieron á los Levitas de sus posesiones, conforme á la palabra de Jehová, estas villas con sus ejidos.
4Y salió la suerte por las familias de los Coathitas; y fueron dadas por suerte á los hijos de Aarón sacerdote, que eran de los Levitas, por la tribu de Judá, por la de Simeón y por la de Benjamín, trece villas.
5Y á los otros hijos de Coath se dieron por suerte diez villas de las familias de la tribu de Ephraim, y de la tribu de Dan, y de la media tribu de Manasés;
6Y á los hijos de Gersón, por las familias de la tribu de Issachâr, y de la tribu de Aser, y de la tribu de Nephtalí, y de la media tribu de Manasés en Basán, fueron dadas por suerte trece villas.
7A los hijos de Merari por sus familias se dieron doce villas por la tribu de Rubén, y por la tribu de Gad, y por la tribu de Zabulón.
8Y así dieron por suerte los hijos de Israel á los Levitas estas villas con sus ejidos, como Jehová lo había mandado por Moisés.
9Y de la tribu de los hijos de Judá, y de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón dieron estas villas que fueron nombradas:
10Y la primera suerte fué de los hijos de Aarón, de la familia de Coath, de los hijos de Leví;
11A los cuales dieron Chîriath-arba, del padre de Anac, la cual es Hebrón, en el monte de Judá, con sus ejidos en sus contornos.
12Mas el campo de aquesta ciudad y sus aldeas dieron á Caleb hijo de Jephone, por su posesión.
13Y á los hijos de Aarón sacerdote dieron la ciudad de refugio para los homicidas, á Hebrón con sus ejidos; y á Libna con sus ejidos,
14Y á Jattir con sus ejidos, y á Estemoa con sus ejidos,
15A Helón con sus ejidos, y á Debir con sus ejidos,
16A Ain con sus ejidos, á Jutta con sus ejidos, y á Beth-semes con sus ejidos; nueve villas de estas dos tribus:
17Y de la tribu de Benjamín, á Gibeón con sus ejidos, á Geba con sus ejidos,
18A Anathoth con sus ejidos, á Almón con sus ejidos: cuatro villas.
19Todas las villas de los sacerdotes, hijos de Aarón, son trece con sus ejidos.
20Mas las familias de los hijos de Coath, Levitas, los que quedaban de los hijos de Coath, recibieron por suerte villas de la tribu de Ephraim.
21Y diéronles á Sichêm, villa de refugio para los homicidas, con sus ejidos, en el monte de Ephraim; y á Geser con sus ejidos,
22Y á Kibsaim con sus ejidos, y á Beth-oron con sus ejidos: cuatro villas:
23Y de la tribu de Dan á Eltheco con sus ejidos, á Gibethón con sus ejidos,
24A Ayalón con sus ejidos, á Gath-rimmón con sus ejidos: cuatro villas:
25Y de la media tribu de Manasés, á Taanach con sus ejidos, y á Gath-rimmón con sus ejidos: dos villas.
26Todas las villas para el resto de las familias de los hijos de Coath fueron diez con sus ejidos.
27A los hijos de Gersón de las familias de los Levitas, dieron la villa de refugio para los homicidas, de la media tribu de Manasés: á Gaulón en Basán con sus ejidos, y á Bosra con sus ejidos: dos villas.
28Y de la tribu de Issachâr, á Cesión con sus ejidos, á Dabereth con sus ejidos,
29A Jarmuth con sus ejidos, y á En-gannim con sus ejidos: cuatro villas:
30Y de la tribu de Aser, á Miseal con sus ejidos, á Abdón con sus ejidos,
31A Helchâth con sus ejidos, y á Rehob con sus ejidos: cuatro villas:
32Y de la tribu de Nephtalí, la villa de refugio para los homicidas, á Cedes en Galilea con sus ejidos, á Hammoth-dor con sus ejidos, y á Cartán con sus ejidos: tres villas:
33Todas las villas de los Gersonitas por sus familias fueron trece villas con sus ejidos.

38De la tribu de Gad, la villa de refugio para los homicidas, Ramoth en Galaad con sus ejidos, y Mahanaim con sus ejidos,
39Hesbón con sus ejidos, y Jacer con sus ejidos: cuatro villas.
40Todas las villas de los hijos de Merari por sus familias, que restaban de las familias de los Levitas, fueron por sus suertes doce villas.
41Y todas la villas de los Levitas en medio de la posesión de los hijos de Israel, fueron cuarenta y ocho villas con sus ejidos.
42Y estas ciudades estaban apartadas la una de la otra cada cual con sus ejidos alrededor de ellas: lo cual fué en todas estas ciudades.
43Así dió Jehová á Israel toda la tierra que había jurado dar á sus padres; y poseyéronla, y habitaron en ella.
44Y Jehová les dió reposo alrededor, conforme á todo lo que había jurado á sus padres: y ninguno de todos los enemigos les paró delante, sino que Jehová entregó en sus manos á todos sus enemigos.
45No faltó palabra de todas la buenas que habló Jehová á la casa de Israel; todo se cumplió.

1Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;
2And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.
3And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs.
4And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
5And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.

10Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.

43And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

1Then the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites came near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.
2They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, “The LORD commanded through Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their pasture lands for our livestock.”
3The children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of the LORD, these cities with their pasture lands.
4The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. The children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot out of the tribe of Judah, out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.
5The rest of the children of Kohath had ten cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.
6The children of Gershon had thirteen cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, out of the tribe of Asher, out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
7The children of Merari according to their families had twelve cities out of the tribe of Reuben, out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.
8The children of Israel gave these cities with their pasture lands by lot to the Levites, as the LORD commanded by Moses.
9They gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are mentioned by name:
10and they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.
11They gave them Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak (also called Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its pasture lands around it.

42Each of these cities included their pasture lands around them. It was this way with all these cities.
43So the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.
44The LORD gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers. Not a man of all their enemies stood before them. The LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45Nothing failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
