9Dies waren die Städte, die man für alle Israeliten und für die unter ihnen lebenden Fremdlinge dazu bestimmte, daß jeder, der einen andern unvorsätzlich getötet hätte, sich dorthin flüchten sollte, damit er nicht durch die Hand des Bluträchers den Tod fände, ehe er vor der Gemeinde gestanden hätte.
