La designación de la tierra para la tribu de José se extendió desde el Jordán en Jericó, al este de los manantiales de Jericó, entrando al desierto, subiendo desde Jericó a través de la ciudad montañosa de Betel.
Y LA suerte del los hijos de José salió desde el Jordán de Jericó hasta las aguas de Jericó hacia el oriente, al desierto que sube de Jericó al monte de Beth-el:
And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Beth-el,
The lot came out for the children of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.
Y desde Betel hasta Luz pasando a lo largo de Atarot, el territorio de los arquitas.
Y de Beth-el sale á Luz, y pasa al término de Archi en Ataroth;
And goeth out from Beth-el to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,
It went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites to Ataroth;
Bajando hacia el oeste al territorio de los jafletitas, hasta el territorio bajo de Bet Horón y luego hasta Gezer; terminando en el océano.
Y torna á descender hacia la mar al término de Japhlet, hasta el término de Beth-oron la de abajo, y hasta Gezer; y sale á la mar.
And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the goings out thereof are at the sea.
and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Beth Horon the lower, and on to Gezer; and ended at the sea.
Fue de esta forma que las tribus de José, Manasés y Efraín recibieron su heredad.
Recibieron pues heredad los hijos de José, Manasés y Ephraim.
So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.

El territorio de la tribu de Efraín que fue asignado a sus clanes fue como sigue: la frontera de su herencia al este fue desde Atarot Adar hasta Bet Horón de arriba
Y fué el término de los hijos de Ephraim por sus familias, fué el término de su herencia á la parte oriental, desde Ataroth-addar hasta Beth-oron la de arriba:
And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Ataroth-addar, unto Beth-horon the upper;
This was the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Beth Horon the upper.
y desde allí continuó al mar. Desde Micmetat, al norte, circundaba hacia el este hasta Tanat Siló y pasaba más allá al este de Janoa.
Y sale este término á la mar, y á Michmetat al norte, y da vuelta este término hacia el oriente á Tanath-silo, y de aquí pasa del oriente á Janoa:
And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanath-shiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;
The border went out westward at Michmethath on the north. The border turned about eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.
Desde Janoa bajó hasta Atarot y Naarat hasta alcanzar Jericó, finalizando en el Jordán.
Y de Janoa desciende á Ataroth, y á Naaratha, y toca en Jericó, y sale al Jordán.
And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.

Desde Tapúa, la frontera fue hacia el oeste de la quebrada de Caná y finalizó en el mar. Esta era la herencia de la tribu de Efraín, asignada a sus clanes,
Y de Tappua torna este término hacia la mar al arroyo de Cana, y sale á la mar. Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Ephraim por sus familias.
The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.
From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;
junto con las ciudades que fueron escogidas para la tribu de Efraín dentro de la herencia de la tribu de Manasés, todas las ciudades, así como sus aldeas.
Hubo también ciudades que se apartaron para los hijos de Ephraim en medio de la herencia de los hijos de Manasés, todas ciudades con sus aldeas.
And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

Ellos no echaron fuera a los cananeos quienes vivían en Gezer, así que los cananeos viven dentro de Efraín hasta este día, pero estas personas fueron obligadas a realizar trabajos forzados.
Y no echaron al Cananeo que habitaba en Gezer; antes quedó el Cananeo en medio de Ephraim, hasta hoy, y fué tributario.
And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.
They didn’t drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell in the territory of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do forced labor.
