Josué 16

La porzione poi che toccò in sorte a' figliuoli di Giuseppe fu dal Giordano che è dirimpetto a Gerico, e dalle acque della stessa Gerico, a levante fino al deserto che va da Gerico al monte Bethel:

Y LA suerte del los hijos de José salió desde el Jordán de Jericó hasta las aguas de Jericó hacia el oriente, al desierto que sube de Jericó al monte de Beth-el:

And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Beth-el,

The lot came out for the children of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.

E partendo da Bethel a Luza passa lungo i confini di Archi ad Atharoth:

Y de Beth-el sale á Luz, y pasa al término de Archi en Ataroth;

And goeth out from Beth-el to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

It went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites to Ataroth;

E va verso occidente lungo i confini di Jephlet, fino ai confini di Beth- horon la inferiore, e di Gazer: e la sua regione finisce al mar grande:

Y torna á descender hacia la mar al término de Japhlet, hasta el término de Beth-oron la de abajo, y hasta Gezer; y sale á la mar.

And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the goings out thereof are at the sea.

and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Beth Horon the lower, and on to Gezer; and ended at the sea.

E la possederono i figliuoli di Giuseppe, Manasse ed Ephraim.

Recibieron pues heredad los hijos de José, Manasés y Ephraim.

So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.

E la porzione dei figliuoli di Ephraim divisi nelle loro famiglie, e la regione che possedettero verso oriente di Atharoth-Addar sino a Beth-horon la superiore.

Y fué el término de los hijos de Ephraim por sus familias, fué el término de su herencia á la parte oriental, desde Ataroth-addar hasta Beth-oron la de arriba:

And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Ataroth-addar, unto Beth-horon the upper;

This was the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Beth Horon the upper.

E i suoi confini vanno al mare. Machmethath guarda a settentrione, e i confini girano verso levante a Thanathselo, e passano all'oriente di Janoe:

Y sale este término á la mar, y á Michmetat al norte, y da vuelta este término hacia el oriente á Tanath-silo, y de aquí pasa del oriente á Janoa:

And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanath-shiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;

The border went out westward at Michmethath on the north. The border turned about eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.

E da Janoe scendono fino ad Atharoth, e a Naaratha: arrivano a Gerico, e finiscono al Giordano.

Y de Janoa desciende á Ataroth, y á Naaratha, y toca en Jericó, y sale al Jordán.

And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.

Da Taphua vanno verso il mare alla valle del canneto, e finiscono al mare salato. Questa è la porzione posseduta dalla tribù de' figliuoli di Ephraim famiglia per famiglia.

Y de Tappua torna este término hacia la mar al arroyo de Cana, y sale á la mar. Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Ephraim por sus familias.

The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;

E furono assegnate a' figliuoli di Ephraim delle città co' loro villaggi, le quali erano dentro la linea della porzione di Manasse.

Hubo también ciudades que se apartaron para los hijos de Ephraim en medio de la herencia de los hijos de Manasés, todas ciudades con sus aldeas.

And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

together with the cities which were set apart for the children of Ephraim in the middle of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

Ma i figliuoli di Ephraim non distrusseso i Cananei che abitavano in Gazer: e i Cananei son rimasi fino al di d'oggi in mezzo ad Ephraim suoi tributarii. Alla mezza tribù di Manasse, e alle figliuole di Salphaad è assegnata la porzione, e accresciuta a' figliuoli di Giuseppe.

Y no echaron al Cananeo que habitaba en Gezer; antes quedó el Cananeo en medio de Ephraim, hasta hoy, y fué tributario.

And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.

They didn’t drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell in the territory of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do forced labor.
