1La part échue par le sort aux fils de Joseph s’étendait depuis le Jourdain près de Jéricho, vers les eaux de Jéricho, à l’orient. La limite suivait le désert qui s’élève de Jéricho à Béthel par la montagne.
2Elle continuait de Béthel à Luz, et passait vers la frontière des Arkiens par Atharoth.
3Puis elle descendait à l’occident vers la frontière des Japhléthiens jusqu’à celle de Beth-Horon la basse et jusqu’à Guézer, pour aboutir à la mer.
4C’est là que reçurent leur héritage les fils de Joseph, Manassé et Éphraïm.
5Voici les limites des fils d’Éphraïm, selon leurs familles. La limite de leur héritage était, à l’orient, Atharoth-Addar jusqu’à Beth-Horon la haute.
6Elle continuait du côté de l’occident vers Micmethath au nord, tournait à l’orient vers Thaanath-Silo, et passait dans la direction de l’orient par Janoach.
7De Janoach elle descendait à Atharoth et à Naaratha, touchait à Jéricho, et se prolongeait jusqu’au Jourdain.
8De Tappuach elle allait vers l’occident au torrent de Kana, pour aboutir à la mer. Tel fut l’héritage de la tribu des fils d’Éphraïm, selon leurs familles.
9Les fils d’Éphraïm avaient aussi des villes séparées au milieu de l’héritage des fils de Manassé, toutes avec leurs villages.
10Ils ne chassèrent point les Cananéens qui habitaient à Guézer, et les Cananéens ont habité au milieu d’Éphraïm jusqu’à ce jour, mais ils furent assujettis à un tribut.

1Y LA suerte del los hijos de José salió desde el Jordán de Jericó hasta las aguas de Jericó hacia el oriente, al desierto que sube de Jericó al monte de Beth-el:
2Y de Beth-el sale á Luz, y pasa al término de Archi en Ataroth;
3Y torna á descender hacia la mar al término de Japhlet, hasta el término de Beth-oron la de abajo, y hasta Gezer; y sale á la mar.
4Recibieron pues heredad los hijos de José, Manasés y Ephraim.
5Y fué el término de los hijos de Ephraim por sus familias, fué el término de su herencia á la parte oriental, desde Ataroth-addar hasta Beth-oron la de arriba:
6Y sale este término á la mar, y á Michmetat al norte, y da vuelta este término hacia el oriente á Tanath-silo, y de aquí pasa del oriente á Janoa:
7Y de Janoa desciende á Ataroth, y á Naaratha, y toca en Jericó, y sale al Jordán.
8Y de Tappua torna este término hacia la mar al arroyo de Cana, y sale á la mar. Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Ephraim por sus familias.
9Hubo también ciudades que se apartaron para los hijos de Ephraim en medio de la herencia de los hijos de Manasés, todas ciudades con sus aldeas.
10Y no echaron al Cananeo que habitaba en Gezer; antes quedó el Cananeo en medio de Ephraim, hasta hoy, y fué tributario.

1And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Beth-el,
2And goeth out from Beth-el to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,
3And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the goings out thereof are at the sea.
4So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
5And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Ataroth-addar, unto Beth-horon the upper;
6And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanath-shiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;
7And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.
8The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.
9And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
10And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.

1The lot came out for the children of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.
2It went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites to Ataroth;
3and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Beth Horon the lower, and on to Gezer; and ended at the sea.
4The children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
5This was the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Beth Horon the upper.
6The border went out westward at Michmethath on the north. The border turned about eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.
7It went down from Janoah to Ataroth, to Naarah, reached to Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.
8From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;
9together with the cities which were set apart for the children of Ephraim in the middle of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
10They didn’t drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell in the territory of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do forced labor.
