Josué 15

La porzione adunque che toccò in sorte a' figliuoli di Giuda famiglia per famiglia fu questa: Da' confini dell'Idumea, il deserto di Sin verso mezzodì, sino all'estremità della regione meridionale:

Y FUÉ la suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Judá, por sus familias, junto al término de Edom, del desierto de Zin al mediodía, al lado del sur.

This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.

The lot for the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families was to the border of Edom, even to the wilderness of Zin southward, at the uttermost part of the south.

Eglino cominciano alla punta del mar salato, e a quella lingua di esso che guarda mezzodì;

Y su término de la parte del mediodía fué desde la costa del mar Salado, desde la lengua que mira hacia el mediodía;

And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:

E s'inoltrano verso la salita dello scorpione, e passano a Sina; e montano verso Cadesbarne, e arrivano ad Esron, e si avanzano ad Addar, e girano intorno a Carcaa:

Y salía hacia el mediodía á la subida de Acrabim, pasando hasta Zin; y subiendo por el mediodía hasta Cades-barnea, pasaba á Hebrón, y subiendo por Addar daba vuelta á Carca;

And it went out to the south side to Maaleh-acrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadesh-barnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:

and it went out southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and went up by the south of Kadesh Barnea, and passed along by Hezron, went up to Addar, and turned toward Karka;

E di là vanno ad Asemona, e giungono al torrente dell'Egitto, e finiscono al mar grande. Questi sono i loro confini da mezzodì.

De allí pasaba á Azmón, y salía al arroyo de Egipto; y sale este término al occidente. Este pues os será el término del mediodía.

From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.

and it passed along to Azmon, went out at the brook of Egypt; and the border ended at the sea. This shall be your south border.

Da oriente poi cominciano al mar salato, e vanno fino all'estremità del Giordano: dalla parte poi che guarda settentrione, dalla lingua di mare fino allo stesso fiume Giordano.

El término del oriente es el mar Salado hasta el fin del Jordán. Y el término de la parte del norte, desde la lengua del mar, desde el fin del Jordán:

And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:

E i loro confini salgono a Beth-Hagla, e passano da settentrione a Beth-Araba: e vanno al sasso di Boen figliuolo di Ruben:

Y sube este término por Beth-hogla, y pasa del norte á Beth-araba, y de aquí sube este término á la piedra de Bohán, hijo de Rubén.

And the border went up to Beth-hogla, and passed along by the north of Beth-arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:

E vanno fino a' confini di Debera dalla valle di Achor, verso settentrione guardano Galgala, che è dirimpetto alla salita di Adommim dalla parte meridionale del torrente; e passano le acque, che si chiamano la Fontana del sole, e terminano al fonte di Rogel.

Y torna á subir este término á Debir desde el valle de Achôr: y al norte mira sobre Gilgal, que está delante de la subida de Adumin, la cual está al mediodía del arroyo: y pasa este término á las aguas de En-semes, y sale á la fuente de Rogel:

And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of En-shemesh, and the goings out thereof were at En-rogel:

Salgono per la valle del figliuolo di Ennom dalla parte meridionale delli Jebusei: qui è Gerusalemme: e quindi si alzano alla cima del monte, che è dirimpetto a Geennom da occidente all'estremità della valle di Raphaim da tramontana:

Y sube este término por el valle del hijo de Hinnom al lado del Jebuseo al mediodía: esta es Jerusalem. Luego sube este término por la cumbre del monte que está delante del valle de Hinnom hacia el occidente, el cual está al cabo del valle de los gigantes al norte:

And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:

The border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom to the side of the Jebusite (also called Jerusalem) southward; and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lies before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the farthest part of the valley of Rephaim northward.

E passano dalla cima del monte sino alla fonte di Nephtoa, e arrivano sino a' villaggi del monte Ephron, e declinano verso Baala che è Cariathiarim, vale a dire città de' boschi:

Y rodea este término desde la cumbre del monte hasta la fuente de las aguas de Nephtoa, y sale á la ciudades del monte de Ephrón, rodeando luego el mismo término á Baala, la cual es Chîriath-jearim.

And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjath-jearim:

The border extended from the top of the mountain to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of Mount Ephron; and the border extended to Baalah (also called Kiriath Jearim);

E da Baala girano verso occidente sino al monte Seir, e passano vicino al lato del monte Jarim che è a settentrione di Cheslon: e scendono a Bethsames, e passano a Thamna:

Después torna este término desde Baala hacia el occidente al monte de Seir: y pasa al lado del monte de Jearim hacia el norte, esta es Chesalón, y desciende á Beth-semes, y pasa á Timna.

And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed on to Timnah:

and the border turned about from Baalah westward to Mount Seir, and passed along to the side of Mount Jearim (also called Chesalon) on the north, and went down to Beth Shemesh, and passed along by Timnah;

E arrivano fin verso il lato settentrionale di Accaron, e declinano verso Sechrona, e trapassano il monte Baala: e arrivano a Jebneel, e terminano al lato occidentale del mar grande.

Sale luego este término al lado de Ecrón hacia el norte; y rodea el mismo término á Sichêron, y pasa por el monte de Baala, y sale á Jabneel: y sale este término á la mar.

And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.

Questi sono i confini dei figliuoli di Giuda da tutte le bande secondo le loro famiglie.

El término del occidente es la mar grande. Este pues, es el término de los hijos de Judá en derredor, por sus familias.

And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.

Ma a Caleb figliuolo di Jephone diede (Giosuè) la sua porzione in mezzo a' figliuoli di Giuda, conforme gli aveva ordinato il Signore: Cariath- Arbe che era del padre di Enac: vale a dire Hebron.

Mas á Caleb, hijo de Jephone, dió parte entre los hijos de Judá, conforme al mandamiento de Jehová á Josué: esto es, á Chîriath-arba, del padre de Anac, que es Hebrón.

And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.

He gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh a portion among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak (also called Hebron).

E Caleb ne sterminò i tre figliuoli di Enac, Sesai, e Ahiman, e Tholmai della stirpe di Enac.

E di là avanzandosi arrivò verso gli abitanti di Dabir, che era pell'avanti detta Cariath Sepher, vale a dire città delle lettere.

De aquí subió á los que moraban en Debir: y el nombre de Debir era antes Chîriath-sepher.

And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjath-sepher.

E disse Caleb: Darò in moglie Axa mia figliuola a chi assalterà Cariath Sepher, e se n'impadronirà.

Y dijo Caleb: Al que hiriere á Chîriath-sepher, y la tomare, yo le daré á mi hija Axa por mujer.

And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjath-sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.

E Othoniel figliuolo di Cenez fratello minore di Caleb la prese, e quegli diede a lui per moglie Axa sua figlia.

E mentre se n'andavano insieme, il suo sposo la persuase a dimandare a suo padre un campo: ed ella come era a seder sopra un asino, gettò un sospiro. E Caleb le disse: Che hai tu?

Y aconteció que cuando la llevaba, él la persuadió que pidiese á su padre tierras para labrar. Ella entonces se apeó del asno. Y Caleb le dijo: ¿Qué tienes?

And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?

When she came, she had him ask her father for a field. She got off her donkey, and Caleb said, “What do you want?”

Ed ella rispose: Dammi benedizione: tu mi hai data una terra verso il mezzodì, e asciutta: dammene anche una che si bagni. Le dette adunque Caleb di sopra, e di sotto dei campi che s'inaffiano.

Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.

She said, “Give me a blessing. Because you have set me in the land of the South, give me also springs of water.” So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

Questa è la porzione della tribù de' figliuoli di Giuda distribuita famiglia per famiglia.

Esta pues es la herencia de la tribu de los hijos de Judá por sus familias.

Desde Ecrón hasta la mar, todas las que están á la costa de Asdod con sus aldeas.

Ma lo Jebuseo che abitava in Gerusalemme, nol poterono discacciare i figliuoli di Giuda: ed i Jebusei son rimasi in Gerusalemme co' figliuoli di Giuda fino al dì d'oggi. Porzione, che toccò alla tribù di Ephrau colle sue città, e villaggi. Tragli Ephramiti resta il Chananeo pagando tributo.

Mas á los Jebuseos que habitaban en Jerusalem, los hijos de Judá no los pudieron desarraigar; antes quedó el Jebuseo en Jerusalem con los hijos de Judá, hasta hoy.

As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.

As for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah couldn’t drive them out; but the Jebusites live with the children of Judah at Jerusalem to this day.
