Josué 14

Voici les héritages que les enfants d'Israël reçurent dans le pays de Canaan, et que le prêtre Éléazar, Josué, fils de Nun, et les chefs de famille des tribus des enfants d'Israël, leur distribuèrent.

ESTO pues es lo que los hijos de Israel tomaron por heredad en la tierra de Canaán, lo cual les repartieron Eleazar sacerdote, y Josué hijo de Nun, y los principales de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel.

And these are the countries which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance to them.

Le partage de leur héritage se fit par le sort, comme le SEIGNEUR l'avait commandé par Moïse, pour les neuf tribus et la demi-tribu.

Por suerte dióseles su heredad, como Jehová lo había mandado por Moisés, que diese á las nueve tribus, y á la media tribu.

Les enfants de Juda s'approchèrent de Josué à Guilgal. Caleb, fils de Jephunné le Kenizien, lui dit : « Tu connais la parole que le SEIGNEUR a dite à Moïse, l'homme de Dieu, à mon sujet et au tien, à Kadès-Barnéa.

Y los hijos de Judá vinieron á Josué en Gilgal; y Caleb, hijo de Jephone Cenezeo, le dijo: Tú sabes lo que Jehová dijo á Moisés, varón de Dios, en Cades-barnea, tocante á mí y á ti.

Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the LORD said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadesh-barnea.

J'avais quarante ans lorsque Moïse, serviteur du SEIGNEUR, m'envoya de Kadès-Barnéa pour explorer le pays, et je lui fis un rapport tel qu'il était dans mon cœur.

Yo era de edad de cuarenta años, cuando Moisés siervo de Jehová me envió de Cades-barnea á reconocer la tierra; y yo le referí el negocio como lo tenía en mi corazón:

Moïse jura ce jour-là, en disant : « Le pays que ton pied a foulé sera un héritage pour toi et pour tes enfants à perpétuité, parce que tu as suivi fidèlement le SEIGNEUR mon Dieu. »

Entonces Moisés juró, diciendo: Si la tierra que holló tu pie no fuere para ti, y para tus hijos en herencia perpetua: por cuanto cumpliste siguiendo á Jehová mi Dios.

And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.

Et maintenant, voici, le SEIGNEUR m'a conservé la vie, comme il l'avait dit. Il y a quarante-cinq ans que le SEIGNEUR a dit cette parole à Moïse, pendant qu'Israël marchait dans le désert. Et maintenant, voici, je suis âgé aujourd'hui de quatre-vingt-cinq ans.

Ahora bien, Jehová me ha hecho vivir, como él dijo, estos cuarenta y cinco años, desde el tiempo que Jehová habló estas palabras á Moisés, cuando Israel andaba por el desierto: y ahora, he aquí, soy hoy día de ochenta y cinco años:

And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.

Je suis encore vigoureux aujourd'hui comme au jour où Moïse m'envoya. La force que j'avais alors, je l'ai encore maintenant pour la guerre, pour sortir et pour entrer.

Pero aun hoy estoy tan fuerte como el día que Moisés me envió: cual era entonces mi fuerza, tal es ahora, para la guerra, y para salir y para entrar.

Donne-moi donc cette région montagneuse, dont le SEIGNEUR a parlé en ce jour-là ; car tu as appris ce jour-là qu'il s'y trouve des Anakim, et des villes grandes et fortifiées. Peut-être le SEIGNEUR sera-t-il avec moi, et je les chasserai, comme le SEIGNEUR l'a dit. »

Dame, pues, ahora este monte, del cual habló Jehová aquel día; porque tú oiste en aquel día que los Anaceos están allí, y grandes y fuertes ciudades. Quizá Jehová será conmigo, y los echaré como Jehová ha dicho.

Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.

Josué le bénit ; et il donna Hébron en héritage à Caleb, fils de Jephunné.

Josué entonces le bendijo, y dió á Caleb hijo de Jephone á Hebrón por heredad.

And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.

C'est pourquoi Hébron est devenue l'héritage de Caleb, fils de Jephunné le Kenizien, jusqu'à ce jour, parce qu'il avait fidèlement suivi le SEIGNEUR, le Dieu d'Israël.

Por tanto Hebrón fué de Caleb, hijo de Jephone Cenezeo, en heredad hasta hoy; porque cumplió siguiendo á Jehová Dios de Israel.

Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.

Therefore Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he followed the LORD, the God of Israel wholeheartedly.

Le nom de Hébron était autrefois Kirjath-Arba, du nom du plus grand homme parmi les Anakim. Le pays eut alors du repos et fut délivré de la guerre.

Mas Hebrón fué antes llamada Chîriath-arba; fué Arba un hombre grande entre los Anaceos. Y la tierra tuvo reposo de las guerras.

And the name of Hebron before was Kirjath-arba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war.

Now the name of Hebron before was Kiriath Arba, after the greatest man among the Anakim. Then the land had rest from war.
