14Demgemäß wurde Hebron Kaleb, dem Sohne Jephunnes, dem Kenisiter, bis auf den heutigen Tag als Erbbesitz zu teil, weil er Jahwe, dem Gott Israels, vollen Gehorsam bewiesen hatte.

14Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.
