So überweise mir nun dieses Bergland, von dem der HERR damals gesprochen hat; du selbst hast ja damals gehört, daß es dort noch Enakiter und große, feste Städte gibt; vielleicht ist der HERR mit mir, so daß ich sie nach der Verheißung des HERRN aus ihrem Besitz vertreiben kann.«
Dame, pues, ahora este monte, del cual habló Jehová aquel día; porque tú oiste en aquel día que los Anaceos están allí, y grandes y fuertes ciudades. Quizá Jehová será conmigo, y los echaré como Jehová ha dicho.
Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.
