Josué 11

Y Jabín, rey de Hazor, oyendo estas cosas, envió a Jobab, rey de Madón, al rey de Simron, y al rey de Acsaf,

OYENDO esto Jabín rey de Hasor, envió mensaje á Jobab rey de Madón, y al rey de Simrom, y al rey de Achsaph,

And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,

Y a los reyes del norte en la región montañosa, y en el sur de Arabah en Cineret, y en las tierras bajas, y en las tierras altas de Dor, al oeste,

Y á los reyes que estaban á la parte del norte en las montañas, y en el llano al mediodía de Cinneroth, y en los llanos, y en las regiones de Dor al occidente;

And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,

and to the kings who were on the north, in the hill country, in the Arabah south of Chinneroth, in the lowland, and in the heights of Dor on the west,

Y a los cananeos al este y al oeste, a los amorreos, a los hititas, a los ferezeos, a los jebuseos en la región montañosa, y los heveos de Hermón en la tierra de Mizpa.

Y al Cananeo que estaba al oriente y al occidente, y al Amorrheo, y al Hetheo, y al Pherezeo, y al Jebuseo en las montañas, y al Heveo debajo de Hermón en tierra de Mizpa.

And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

Y salieron, ellos y todos sus ejércitos con ellos, un gran pueblo, en número como la arena del mar, con caballos y carros de guerra en gran número.

Estos salieron, y con ellos todos sus ejércitos, pueblo mucho en gran manera, como la arena que está á la orilla del mar, con gran muchedumbre de caballos y carros.

And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.

Y todos estos reyes se juntaron, y pusieron sus fuerzas en posición en las aguas de Merom, para hacer la guerra a Israel.

Todos estos reyes se juntaron, y viniendo reunieron los campos junto á las aguas de Merom, para pelear contra Israel.

And when all these kings were met together, they came and pitched together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.

Y él Señor dijo a Josué: No temas, porque mañana a esta hora los entregaré a todos delante de Israel; debes cortar los músculos de las patas de sus caballos y quemar con fuego sus carruajes de guerra.

Mas Jehová dijo á Josué: No tengas temor de ellos, que mañana á esta hora yo entregaré á todos éstos, muertos delante de Israel: á sus caballos desjarretarás, y sus carros quemarás al fuego.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.

The LORD said to Joshua, “Don’t be afraid because of them; for tomorrow at this time, I will deliver them up all slain before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.”

Entonces Josué y todos los hombres de guerra con él vinieron contra ellos de repente en las aguas de Merom, y los atacaron.

Y vino Josué, y con él todo el pueblo de guerra, contra ellos, y dió de repente sobre ellos junto á las aguas de Merom.

So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell upon them.

Y el Señor los entregó en manos de Israel, y los vencieron llevándolos de regreso al gran Zidon, a Misrefot-maim y al valle de Mizpa, al este; Y los mataron a todos, ningún hombre escapó a salvo.

Y entrególos Jehová en manos de Israel, los cuales los hirieron y siguieron hasta Sidón la grande, y hasta las aguas calientes, y hasta el llano de Mizpa al oriente, hiriéndolos hasta que no les dejaron ninguno.

And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephoth-maim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.

Y Josué les hizo como él Señor le había dicho; Les cortaron los músculos de las patas de sus caballos y quemaron con fuego sus carruajes de guerra.

Y Josué hizo con ellos como Jehová le había mandado: desjarretó sus caballos, y sus carros quemó al fuego.

And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.

Joshua did to them as the LORD told him. He hamstrung their horses and burned their chariots with fire.

En ese momento, Josué tomó a Hazor y mató a filo de espada a su rey: porque en tiempos anteriores, Hazor era el jefe de todos esos reinos.

Y tornándose Josué, tomó en el mismo tiempo á Hasor, é hirió á cuchillo á su rey: la cual Hasor había sido antes cabeza de todos estos reinos.

And Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms.

Y mataron a cada persona en ella sin piedad, destruyendo todo por completo, y quemando a Hazor.

E hirieron á cuchillo todo cuanto en ella había vivo, destruyendo y no dejando cosa con vida; y á Asor pusieron á fuego.

And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.

Y Josue capturó los pueblos de estos reyes y todos los reyes, y los pusieron a filo de espada: los destruyeron, como Moisés, el siervo del Señor, había dicho.

Asimismo tomó Josué todas las ciudades de aquestos reyes, y á todos los reyes de ellas, y los metió á cuchillo, y los destruyó, como Moisés siervo de Jehová lo había mandado.

And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.

En cuanto a los pueblos que estaban sobre las colinas de la tierra, Israel no quemó a uno, sino a Hazor.

Empero todas las ciudades que estaban en sus cabezos, no las quemó Israel, sacando á sola Asor, la cual quemó Josué.

But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn.

Y todos los bienes que tomaron de estos pueblos y su ganado, los hijos de Israel se guardaron para sí mismos; pero cada hombre que pusieron a muerte sin piedad, hasta que su destrucción fue completa, y no había nadie vivo.

Y los hijos de Israel tomaron para sí todos los despojos y bestias de aquestas ciudades: pero á todos los hombres metieron á cuchillo hasta destruirlos, sin dejar alguno con vida.

And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.

Como él Señor había dado órdenes a Moisés, su siervo, así Moisés dio órdenes a Josué, y así lo hizo Josué; Cada orden que el Señor había dado a Moisés fue hecha.

De la manera que Jehová lo había mandado á Moisés su siervo, así Moisés lo mandó á Josué: y así Josué lo hizo, sin quitar palabra de todo lo que Jehová había mandado á Moisés.

Entonces Josué tomó toda esa tierra, la región montañosa y todo el sur, y toda la tierra de Gosén, y las tierras bajas del Jordán, la región montañosa de Israel y sus tierras bajas;

Tomó pues Josué toda aquella tierra, las montañas, y toda la región del mediodía, y toda la tierra de Gosén, y los bajos y los llanos, y la montaña de Israel y sus valles.

So Joshua took all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel, and the valley of the same;

Desde el monte Halac, que sube hacia Seir, hasta Baal-gad en el valle del Líbano bajo el monte Hermón: venció y mató a todos sus reyes.

Por mucho tiempo Josué hizo la guerra a todos esos reyes.

Porque el Señor los hizo tercos de corazón para ir a la guerra contra Israel, para destruirlos por completo y sin piedad, como el Señor le había dado órdenes a Moisés.

Y Josué llegó en ese momento y puso fin a los Anaceos en la región montañosa, en Hebrón, y Debir, en Anab y en toda la región montañosa de Judá e Israel. Me

También en el mismo tiempo vino Josué y destruyó los Anaceos de los montes, de Hebrón, de Debir, y de Anab, y de todos los montes de Judá, y de todos los montes de Israel: Josué los destruyó á ellos y á sus ciudades.

And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.

No se podía ver a ninguno de los Anaceos en la tierra de los hijos de Israel: solo en Gaza, en Gat y en Asdod, algunos todavía vivían.

Entonces Josué tomó toda la tierra, como el Señor le había dicho a Moisés; y Josué se lo dio a los hijos de Israel como su herencia, dividiéndolo entre ellos por sus tribus. Y la tierra descansó de la guerra.
