Josué 10

Ma avendo inteso Adonisedec re di Gerusalemme, come Giosuè avea presa Hai, e l'avea distrutta (perocché come avea fatto a Gerico, e al suo re, così avea fatto ad Hai, e al suo re), e come i Gabaoniti si erano voltati dalla parte d'Israele, e si eran collegati con esso,

Y COMO Adonisedec rey de Jerusalem oyó que Josué había tomado á Hai, y que la había asolado, (como había hecho á Jericó y á su rey, así hizo á Hai y á su rey;) y que los moradores de Gabaón habían hecho paz con los Israelitas, y que estaban entre ellos;
