Then prayed Jonah, unto Yahweh, his God,—out of the belly of the fish;
MAS Jehová había prevenido un gran pez que tragase á Jonás: y estuvo Jonás en el vientre del pez tres días y tres noches.
Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,
Then Jonah prayed to the LORD, his God, out of the fish’s belly.
and said—I cried—out of my distress—unto Yahweh, and he answered me,—Out of the belly of hades, called I, Thou didst hear my voice.
Y oró Jonás desde el vientre del pez á Jehová su Dios,
And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
He said, “I called because of my affliction to the LORD. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried. You heard my voice.
For thou hast cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and, a flood, enveloped me,—All thy breakers and thy rolling waves, over me, passed.
Y dijo: Clamé de mi tribulación á Jehová, y él me oyó; del vientre del sepulcro clamé, y mi voz oiste.
For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
For you threw me into the depths, in the heart of the seas. The flood was all around me. All your waves and your billows passed over me.
And, I, said, I am driven out from before thine eyes,—Yet will I again have regard unto thy holy temple:
Echásteme en el profundo, en medio de los mares, y rodeóme la corriente; todas tus ondas y tus olas pasaron sobre mí.
Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’
The waters, encompassed me, to the peril of my life, The roaring deep, enveloped me,—The sea-weed, was wrapped about my head:
Y yo dije: Echado soy de delante de tus ojos: mas aun veré tu santo templo.
The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
The waters surrounded me, even to the soul. The deep was around me. The weeds were wrapped around my head.
To the roots of the mountains, went I down, As for the earth, her bars, were about me, age-abidingly,—Then didst thou bring up—out of the pit—my life, O Yahweh my God.
Las aguas me rodearon hasta el alma, rodeóme el abismo; la ova se enredó á mi cabeza.
I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.
I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth barred me in forever; yet you have brought my life up from the pit, LORD my God.
When my soul, darkened itself over me, Yahweh, I remembered,—and my prayer, came in unto thee, unto thy holy temple.
Descendí á las raíces de los montes; la tierra echó sus cerraduras sobre mí para siempre: mas tú sacaste mi vida de la sepultura, oh Jehová Dios mío.
When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
“When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD. My prayer came in to you, into your holy temple.
They who take heed to the vanities of falsehood, do, their own lovingkindness, forsake.
Cuando mi alma desfallecía en mí, acordéme de Jehová; y mi oración entró hasta ti en tu santo templo.
They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
Those who regard vain idols forsake their own mercy.
But, I, with the voice of praise, will sacrifice unto thee, What I have vowed, I will pay,—Salvation, belongeth to Yahweh!
Los que guardan las vanidades ilusorias, su misericordia abandonan.
But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to the LORD.”
So then Yahweh spake unto the fish,—and it vomited out Jonah, upon the dry land.
Yo empero con voz de alabanza te sacrificaré; pagaré lo que prometí. La salvación pertenece á Jehová. Y mandó Jehová al pez, y vomitó á Jonás en tierra.
And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
Then the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.
