Jonás 2

1Wasser umgaben mich bis an mein Leben; die Tiefe umringete mich; Schilf bedeckte mein Haupt.
2Ich sank hinunter zu der Berge Gründen; die Erde hatte mich verriegelt ewiglich. Aber du hast mein Leben aus dem Verderben geführet, HERR, mein Gott!
3Da meine Seele bei mir verzagte, gedachte ich an den HERRN; und mein Gebet kam zu dir in deinen heiligen Tempel.
4Die da halten über dem Nichtigen, verlassen ihre Gnade.
5Ich aber will mit Dank opfern; meine Gelübde will ich bezahlen dem HERRN, daß er mir geholfen hat.
6Und der HERR sprach zum Fisch, und derselbe speiete Jona aus ans Land.
7Und es geschah das Wort des HERRN zum andernmal zu Jona und sprach:
8Mache dich auf, gehe in die große Stadt Ninive und predige ihr die Predigt, die ich dir sage!
9Da machte sich Jona auf und ging hin gen Ninive, wie der HERR gesagt hatte. Ninive aber war eine große Stadt Gottes, drei Tagereisen groß.
10Und da Jona anfing, hineinzugehen eine Tagereise in die Stadt, predigte er und sprach: Es sind noch vierzig Tage, so wird Ninive untergehen.

1MAS Jehová había prevenido un gran pez que tragase á Jonás: y estuvo Jonás en el vientre del pez tres días y tres noches.
2Y oró Jonás desde el vientre del pez á Jehová su Dios,
3Y dijo: Clamé de mi tribulación á Jehová, y él me oyó; del vientre del sepulcro clamé, y mi voz oiste.
4Echásteme en el profundo, en medio de los mares, y rodeóme la corriente; todas tus ondas y tus olas pasaron sobre mí.
5Y yo dije: Echado soy de delante de tus ojos: mas aun veré tu santo templo.
6Las aguas me rodearon hasta el alma, rodeóme el abismo; la ova se enredó á mi cabeza.
7Descendí á las raíces de los montes; la tierra echó sus cerraduras sobre mí para siempre: mas tú sacaste mi vida de la sepultura, oh Jehová Dios mío.
8Cuando mi alma desfallecía en mí, acordéme de Jehová; y mi oración entró hasta ti en tu santo templo.
9Los que guardan las vanidades ilusorias, su misericordia abandonan.
10Yo empero con voz de alabanza te sacrificaré; pagaré lo que prometí. La salvación pertenece á Jehová. Y mandó Jehová al pez, y vomitó á Jonás en tierra.

1Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,
2And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
3For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
4Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
5The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
6I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.
7When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
8They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
9But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
10And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
World English Bible
1Then Jonah prayed to the LORD, his God, out of the fish’s belly.
2He said, “I called because of my affliction to the LORD. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried. You heard my voice.
3For you threw me into the depths, in the heart of the seas. The flood was all around me. All your waves and your billows passed over me.
4I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’
5The waters surrounded me, even to the soul. The deep was around me. The weeds were wrapped around my head.
6I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth barred me in forever; yet you have brought my life up from the pit, LORD my God.
7“When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD. My prayer came in to you, into your holy temple.
8Those who regard vain idols forsake their own mercy.
9But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to the LORD.”
10Then the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.
