1Porque he aquí que en aquellos días, y en aquel tiempo en que haré volver la cautividad de Judá y de Jerusalén,
2reuniré a todas las naciones, y las haré descender al valle de Josafat, y allí entraré en juicio con ellas a causa de mi pueblo, y de Israel mi heredad posesión, a quien ellas esparcieron entre las naciones, y repartieron mi tierra;
3y echaron suertes sobre mi pueblo, y dieron los niños por una prostituta ramera, y vendieron las niñas por vino para beber.
4Y también, ¿qué tengo yo con ustedes, Tiro y Sidón, y todo el territorio de Filistea? ¿Quieren vengarse de mí? Y si de mí se vengan, bien pronto haré yo recaer la paga sobre su de ustedes cabeza.
5Porque han llevado mi plata y mi oro, y mis cosas preciosas y hermosas metieron en sus de ustedes templos;
6y vendieron los hijos de Judá y los hijos de Jerusalén a los hijos de los griegos, para alejarlos de su tierra.
7He aquí yo los levantaré del lugar donde los vendieron, y volveré su de ustedes paga sobre su de ustedes cabeza;
8y venderé sus de ustedes hijos y sus de ustedes hijas a los hijos de Judá, y ellos los venderán a los sabeos, nación lejana; porque Jehová ha hablado.
9Proclamen esto entre las naciones, proclamen guerra, despierten a los valientes, acérquense, vengan todos los hombres de guerra.
10Forjen espadas de sus de ustedes azadones, lanzas de sus de ustedes hoces; diga el débil: Fuerte soy.
11Júntense y vengan, naciones todas de alrededor, y congréguense; haz venir allí, oh Jehová, a tus fuertes.
12Despiértense las naciones, y suban al valle de Josafat; porque allí me sentaré para juzgar a todas las naciones de alrededor.
13Echen la hoz, porque la mies está ya madura. Vengan, desciendan, porque el lagar está lleno, rebosan las cubas; porque mucha es la maldad de ellos.
14«Muchos pueblos»* en el valle de la decisión; porque cercano está el día de Jehová en el valle de la decisión.
15El sol y la luna se oscurecerán, y las estrellas retraerán su resplandor.
16Y Jehová rugirá desde Sion, y dará su voz desde Jerusalén, y temblarán los cielos y la tierra; pero Jehová será la esperanza de su pueblo, y la fortaleza de los hijos de Israel.
17Y conocerán que yo soy Jehová su de ustedes Dios, que habito en Sion, mi santo monte; y Jerusalén será santa, y extraños no pasarán más por ella.
18Sucederá en aquel tiempo, que los montes destilarán mosto, y los collados fluirán leche, y por todos los arroyos de Judá correrán aguas; y saldrá una fuente de la casa de Jehová, y regará el valle de Sitim.
19Egipto será destruido, y Edom será vuelto en desierto asolado, por la injuria vergüenza, afrenta, deshonor hecha a los hijos de Judá; porque derramaron en su tierra sangre inocente.
20Pero Judá será habitada para siempre, y Jerusalén por generación y generación.
21Y limpiaré la sangre de los que no había limpiado; y Jehová morará en Sion.

5Porque habéis llevado mi plata y mi oro, y mis cosas preciosas y hermosas metisteis en vuestros templos:
6Y vendisteis los hijos de Judá y los hijos de Jerusalem á los hijos de los Griegos, por alejarlos de sus términos.
7He aquí los levantaré yo del lugar donde los vendisteis, y volveré vuestra paga sobre vuestra cabeza:
8Y venderé vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas en la mano de los hijos de Judá, y ellos los venderán á los Sabeos, nación apartada; porque Jehová ha hablado.
9Pregonad esto entre las gentes, proclamad guerra, despertad á los valientes, lléguense, vengan todos los hombres de guerra.
10Haced espadas de vuestros azadones, lanzas de vuestras hoces; diga el flaco: Fuerte soy.
11Juntaos y venid, gentes todas de alrededor, y congregaos: haz venir allí, oh Jehová, tus fuertes.
12Las gentes se despierten, y suban al valle de Josaphat: porque allí me sentaré para juzgar todas las gentes de alrededor.
13Echad la hoz, porque la mies está ya madura. Venid, descended; porque el lagar está lleno, rebosan las lagaretas: porque mucha es la maldad de ellos.
14Muchos pueblos en el valle de la decisión: porque cercano está el día de Jehová en el valle de la decisión.

1For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
3And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
4Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;
5Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
6The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.
7Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
8And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
9Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
12Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
13Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
15The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
17So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
18And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.

1“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,
2I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will execute judgment on them there for my people, and for my heritage, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations. They have divided my land,
3and have cast lots for my people, and have given a boy for a prostitute, and sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.
4“Yes, and what are you to me, Tyre and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Will you repay me? And if you repay me, I will swiftly and speedily return your repayment on your own head.
5Because you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried my finest treasures into your temples,
6and have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem to the sons of the Greeks, that you may remove them far from their border.
7Behold, I will stir them up out of the place where you have sold them, and will return your repayment on your own head;
8and I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hands of the children of Judah, and they will sell them to the men of Sheba, to a faraway nation, for the LORD has spoken it.”
9Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Stir up the mighty men. Let all the warriors draw near. Let them come up.
10Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’
11Hurry and come, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves together.” Cause your mighty ones to come down there, LORD.
12“Let the nations arouse themselves, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.
13Put in the sickle; for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread, for the wine press is full, the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.”
14Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
15The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.
16The LORD will roar from Zion, and thunder from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth will shake; but the LORD will be a refuge to his people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.
17“So you will know that I am the LORD, your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy, and no strangers will pass through her any more.
18It will happen in that day, that the mountains will drop down sweet wine, the hills will flow with milk, all the brooks of Judah will flow with waters; and a fountain will flow out from the LORD’s house, and will water the valley of Shittim.
19Egypt will be a desolation and Edom will be a desolate wilderness, for the violence done to the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed, for the LORD dwells in Zion.”
