"Si cualquiera trata de hablar contigo, ¿serás impaciente? Pero, ¿quién puede impedirse a sí mismo de hablar?
Si probáremos á hablarte, serte ha molesto; mas ¿quién podrá detener las palabras?
If we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking?
“If someone ventures to talk with you, will you be grieved? But who can withhold himself from speaking?
Mira, tú has instruído a muchos; tú has fortalecido a manos débiles.
He aquí, tú enseñabas á muchos, y las manos flacas corroborabas;
Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
Behold, you have instructed many, you have strengthened the weak hands.
Tus palabras lo han sostenido a quien estaba cayendo, tú has hecho firme las rodillas débiles.
Al que vacilaba, enderezaban tus palabras, y esforzabas las rodillas que decaían.
Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.
Your words have supported him who was falling, you have made the feeble knees firm.
Pero ahora que el problema ha venido a ti, y estas cargado; te toca y estás atribulado.
Mas ahora que el mal sobre ti ha venido, te es duro; y cuando ha llegado hasta ti, te turbas.
But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.
But now it has come to you, and you faint. It touches you, and you are troubled.
¿No es tu temor confianza, y la integridad de tus caminos tu esperanza?
¿Es este tu temor, tu confianza, tu esperanza, y la perfección de tus caminos?
Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways?
Isn’t your piety your confidence? Isn’t the integrity of your ways your hope?
Piensa sobre esto, por favor: ¿quién ha perecido siendo inocente? O ¿cuándo los rectos fueron cortados?
Recapacita ahora, ¿quién que fuera inocente se perdiera? y ¿en dónde los rectos fueron cortados?
Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?
“Remember, now, who ever perished, being innocent? Or where were the upright cut off?
Basado en lo que yo he observado, aquellos que aran iniquidad y siembran problemas, los cosechan.
Como yo he visto, los que aran iniquidad y siembran injuria, la siegan.
Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

Ahora, un cierto asunto fue secretamente traído a mí, y mi oído recibió un susurro acerca del ello.

It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,
It stood still, but I couldn’t discern its appearance. A form was before my eyes. Silence, then I heard a voice, saying,
"¿Puede un hombre mortal ser más justo que Dios? ¿Puede un hombre ser más puro que su Creador?
¿Si será el hombre más justo que Dios? ¿si será el varón más limpio que el que lo hizo?
Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?
‘Shall mortal man be more just than God? Shall a man be more pure than his Maker?
Mira, si Dios no pone confianza en sus siervos; si Él acusa a sus ángeles de insensatez,
He aquí que en sus siervos no confía, y notó necedad en sus ángeles;
Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:
Behold, he puts no trust in his servants. He charges his angels with error.
¿cuánto más es esto cierto de aquellos quienes viven en casas de barro, quienes su fundamento está en el polvo, quienes son aplastados más rápido que una polilla?
¡Cuánto más en los que habitan en casas de lodo, cuyo fundamento está en el polvo, y que serán quebrantados de la polilla!
How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?
How much more those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed before the moth!
Entre la mañana y la tarde ellos son destrozados; ellos perecen para siempre sin que alguno los note.
De la mañana á la tarde son quebrantados, y se pierden para siempre, sin haber quien lo considere.
They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding it.
Between morning and evening they are destroyed. They perish forever without any regarding it.
¿No son las cuerdas de sus tienda arrancadas de ellos? Ellos mueren; ellos mueren sin sabiduría.
