El SEÑOR continuó hablándole a Job; Él le dijo:
ENTONCES respondió Jehová á Job desde la oscuridad, y dijo:
Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,
Moreover the LORD answered Job,
"¿Debe alguno quien desea criticar, tratar de corregir al Todopoderoso? El que discute con Dios, deje que Él le conteste.''
Cíñete ahora como varón tus lomos; yo te preguntaré, y explícame.
Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
“Shall he who argues contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it.”
Entonces Job le contestó al SEÑOR y dijo:
¿Invalidarás tú también mi juicio? ¿me condenarás á mí, para justificarte á ti?
Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
Then Job answered the LORD,
"Mira, yo soy insignificante; ¿cómo puedo yo contestarte? Yo pongo mi mano sobre mi boca.
¿Tienes tú brazo como Dios? ¿y tronarás tú con voz como él?
Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
“Behold, I am of small account. What will I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
Yo hablé una vez, y no contestaré; de hecho, dos veces, pero no procederé mas allá.''
Atavíate ahora de majestad y de alteza: y vístete de honra y de hermosura.
Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
I have spoken once, and I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further.”
Entonces el SEÑOR le contestó a Job desde la tormenta feroz y dijo:
Esparce furores de tu ira: y mira á todo soberbio, y abátelo.
Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind:
"Ahora ciñe tus lomos como un hombre, porque Yo preguntaré, y tú me debes contestar.
Mira á todo soberbio, y humíllalo, y quebranta á los impíos en su asiento.
Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
“Now brace yourself like a man. I will question you, and you will answer me.
¿En realidad dices que Yo soy injusto? ¿Me condenarás para poder decir que estás en lo correcto?
Encúbrelos á todos en el polvo, venda sus rostros en la oscuridad;
Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
Will you even annul my judgment? Will you condemn me, that you may be justified?
¿Tienes tú un brazo como el de Dios? ¿Puedes tronar con una voz como Él?
Y yo también te confesaré que podrá salvarte tu diestra.
Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him?
Ahora vístete a ti mismo en gloria y dignidad; arréglate a ti mismo en honor y majestad.
He aquí ahora behemoth, al cual yo hice contigo; hierba come como buey.
Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
“Now deck yourself with excellency and dignity. Array yourself with honor and majesty.
Esparce alrededor el exceso de tu ira; mira a todo el que sea soberbio y derríbalo.
He aquí ahora que su fuerza está en sus lomos, y su fortaleza en el ombligo de su vientre.
Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
Pour out the fury of your anger. Look at everyone who is proud, and bring him low.
Mira a todo el que es soberbio y tráelo abajo; pisotea a la gente malvada donde se para.
Su cola mueve como un cedro, y los nervios de sus genitales son entretejidos.
Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
Look at everyone who is proud, and humble him. Crush the wicked in their place.
Entierrálos en la tierra juntos; aprisiona sus rostros en el lugar escondido.
Sus huesos son fuertes como bronce, y sus miembros como barras de hierro.
Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.
Hide them in the dust together. Bind their faces in the hidden place.
Entonces Yo también te reconoceré a ti que tu propia mano derecha puede salvarte.
El es la cabeza de los caminos de Dios: el que lo hizo, puede hacer que su cuchillo á él se acerque.
Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
Then I will also admit to you that your own right hand can save you.
Mira ahora al Behemot, al que Yo hice como te hice a ti; él come pasto como un buey.
Ciertamente los montes producen hierba para él: y toda bestia del campo retoza allá.
Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
“See now behemoth, which I made as well as you. He eats grass as an ox.
Mira ahora, su fuerza está en sus lomos; su poder está en los músculos de su vientre.
Echaráse debajo de las sombras, en lo oculto de las cañas, y de los lugares húmedos.
Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
Look now, his strength is in his thighs. His force is in the muscles of his belly.
Él mueve su rabo como un cedro; los músculos de sus muslos están unidos.
Los árboles sombríos lo cubren con su sombra; los sauces del arroyo lo cercan.
He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
He moves his tail like a cedar. The sinews of his thighs are knit together.
Sus huesos son como tubos de bronce; sus piernas son como barras de hierro.
He aquí que él tomará el río sin inmutarse: y confíase que el Jordán pasará por su boca.
His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
His bones are like tubes of bronze. His limbs are like bars of iron.
Él es el jefe de las criaturas de Dios. Solo Dios, quien lo hizo, puede derrotarlo.
¿Tomarálo alguno por sus ojos en armadijos, y horadará su nariz?
He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
He is the chief of the ways of God. He who made him gives him his sword.
Pues las colinas le proveen alimento; las bestias del campo juegan cerca.

Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
Surely the mountains produce food for him, where all the animals of the field play.
Él descansa bajo las plantas de loto en los refugios de las cañas, en los pantanos.

He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
He lies under the lotus trees, in the covert of the reed, and the marsh.
Las plantas de loto lo cubren con su sombra; los sauces del arroyo lo rodean a él.

The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
The lotuses cover him with their shade. The willows of the brook surround him.
Mira, si las corrientes del río inunda sus bancos, él no tiembla; él tiene confianza, aunque el río Jordán pueda surgir hasta su hocico.

Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
Behold, if a river overflows, he doesn’t tremble. He is confident, though the Jordan swells even to his mouth.
¿Podrá alguien capturarlo con un gancho, o perforar su naríz a través de una trampa?

He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
Shall any take him when he is on the watch, or pierce through his nose with a snare?
