After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.

Mirabilmente rimbomba nel tuono la voce di Dio, che fa cose grandi, e imperscrutabili.
Tronará Dios maravillosamente con su voz; él hace grandes cosas, que nosotros no entendemos.
God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

Egli comanda alla neve di calar sulla terra, e alle pioggie d'inverno, e alle sue impetuose procelle.
Porque á la nieve dice: Desciende á la tierra; también á la llovizna, y á los aguaceros de su fortaleza.
For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.

Il frumento brama le nuvole, e le nuvole gettan la loro luce.

Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.
Elle van girando all'intorno dovunque le guidi il volere di lui, che le governa, ad eseguire i suoi ordini per tutte le parti della terra,
Asimismo por sus designios se revuelven las nubes en derredor, para hacer sobre la haz del mundo, en la tierra, lo que él les mandara.
And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.

Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
Do you know how God controls them, and causes the lightning of his cloud to shine?
Hai tu conosciute le vie delle nuvole, e quel grande, e perfetto sapere?
¿Has tú conocido las diferencias de las nubes, las maravillas del Perfecto en sabiduría?
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
Do you know the workings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?
Non son elleno calde le tue vestimenta, allorché l'austro soffia sopra la terra?
¿Por qué están calientes tus vestidos cuando se fija el viento del mediodía sobre la tierra?
How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
You whose clothing is warm when the earth is still by reason of the south wind?
Tu forse insieme con lui fabbricasti i cieli, i quali sono saldissimi, come se fosser gettati in bronzo?
¿Extendiste tú con él los cielos, firmes como un espejo sólido?
Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
Can you, with him, spread out the sky, which is strong as a cast metal mirror?
Insegna tu a noi quello, che abbiamo da dire a lui; perocché noi siamo avvolti nelle tenebre.
Muéstranos qué le hemos de decir; porque nosotros no podemos componer las ideas á causa de las tinieblas.
Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.

L'oro vien da settentrione, e a Dio laude diasi con timore.
Viniendo de la parte del norte la dorada claridad. En Dios hay una majestad terrible.
Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty.
Noi non siam degni di raggiungerlo, egli è grande in sua possanza, ne' suoi giudizj, e nella giustizia, ed è ineffabile.
El es Todopoderoso, al cual no alcanzamos, grande en potencia; y en juicio y en multitud de justicia no afligirá.
Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress.
Per questo gli uomini lo temeranno, e nissuno di quelli, che si credono saggi ardirà di contemplarlo. Dio stesso s' introduce nella disputa, e comanda ad Eliu di tacere, e riprende Giobbe, mostrando dalle opere fatte dà se, com egli non può comprendere la sua potenza, e sapienza.
Temerlo han por tanto los hombres: él no mira á los sabios de corazón.
Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
Therefore men revere him. He doesn’t regard any who are wise of heart.”
