"Permíteme hablar un poco más, y yo te mostraré algunas cosas porque yo tengo un poco más que decir en defensa de Dios.
Espérame un poco, y enseñarte he; porque todavía tengo razones en orden á Dios.
Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf.
“Bear with me a little, and I will show you; for I still have something to say on God’s behalf.
Yo obtendré mi conocimiento desde lejos; yo reconoceré que la justicia le pertenece a mi Creador.
Tomaré mi noticia de lejos, y atribuiré justicia á mi Hacedor.
I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
I will get my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
Porque de hecho, mis palabras no serán falsas; alguien que es maduro en conocimiento está contigo.
Porque de cierto no son mentira mis palabras; contigo está el que es íntegro en sus conceptos.
For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
For truly my words are not false. One who is perfect in knowledge is with you.
Mira, Dios es poderoso, y no desprecia a nadie; Él es poderoso en fuerza de entendimiento.
He aquí que Dios es grande, mas no desestima á nadie: es poderoso en fuerza de sabiduría.
Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
“Behold, God is mighty, and doesn’t despise anyone. He is mighty in strength of understanding.
Él no preserva la vida de la gente maligna pero en su lugar, hace lo que es correcto para aquellos quienes sufren.
No otorgará vida al impío, y á los afligidos dará su derecho.
He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.
He doesn’t preserve the life of the wicked, but gives justice to the afflicted.
Él no quita sus ojos de la gente justa pero en su lugar, los pone en tronos como reyes por siempre, y ellos son levantados.
No quitará sus ojos del justo; antes bien con los reyes los pondrá en solio para siempre, y serán ensalzados.
He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.

Si ellos están amarrados en cadenas y atrapados en cuerdas de sufrimiento,
Y si estuvieren prendidos en grillos, y aprisionados en las cuerdas de aflicción,
And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;
If they are bound in fetters, and are taken in the cords of afflictions,
entonces Él les revela a ellos lo que han hecho, y sus transgresiones y su orgullo.
El les dará á conocer la obra de ellos, y que prevalecieron sus rebeliones.
Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.

Él también les abre sus oídos a Sus instrucciones, y les ordena a ellos a alejarse de la iniquidad.
Despierta además el oído de ellos para la corrección, y díceles que se conviertan de la iniquidad.
He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.
He also opens their ears to instruction, and commands that they return from iniquity.
Si ellos lo escuchan y lo adoran a Él, ellos pasarán sus días en prosperidad, sus años en alegría.
Si oyeren, y le sirvieren, acabarán sus días en bien, y sus años en deleites.
If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
If they listen and serve him, they will spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
Sin embargo, si ellos no escuchan, ellos morirán por la espada; ellos morirán porque no tienen conocimiento.
Mas si no oyeren, serán pasados á cuchillo, y perecerán sin sabiduría.
But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

Esos que son impíos de corazón guardan su enojo; ellos no claman por ayuda aún cuando Dios los amarra.
Empero los hipócritas de corazón lo irritarán más, y no clamarán cuando él los atare.
But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.
“But those who are godless in heart lay up anger. They don’t cry for help when he binds them.
Ellos mueren en su juventud; sus vidas terminan entre las prostitutas de culto.
Fallecerá el alma de ellos en su mocedad, y su vida entre los sodomitas.
They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.
They die in youth. Their life perishes among the unclean.
Dios rescata a la gente afligida por medio de sus aflicciones; Él abre sus oídos por medio de su opresión.
Al pobre librará de su pobreza, y en la aflicción despertará su oído.
He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.
He delivers the afflicted by their affliction, and opens their ear in oppression.
De hecho, a Él le gustaría sacarlos de la angustia a un amplio lugar donde no hay dificultades y donde su mesa sería preparada con comida llena de grasa.
Asimismo te apartaría de la boca de la angustia á lugar espacioso, libre de todo apuro; y te asentará mesa llena de grosura.
Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.
Yes, he would have allured you out of distress, into a wide place, where there is no restriction. That which is set on your table would be full of fatness.
Pero tú estás lleno de juicio en las personas malignas; juicio y justicia te han atrapado a ti.
Mas tú has llenado el juicio del impío, en vez de sustentar el juicio y la justicia.
But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.
“But you are full of the judgment of the wicked. Judgment and justice take hold of you.
No dejes que tu enojo te lleve a burlarte, o que la grandeza de un rescate te lleve a un lado.
Por lo cual teme que en su ira no te quite con golpe, el cual no puedas apartar de ti con gran rescate.
Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.
Don’t let riches entice you to wrath, neither let the great size of a bribe turn you aside.
¿Puede tu riqueza beneficiarte, para que no pases angustias, o puede todo el poder de tus fuerzas ayudarte?
¿Hará él estima de tus riquezas, ni del oro, ni de todas las fuerzas del poder?
Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.
Would your wealth sustain you in distress, or all the might of your strength?
No desees la noche, para cometer pecado en contra de otros, cuando la gente es cortada en su lugar.
No anheles la noche, en que desaparecen los pueblos de su lugar.
Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.
Don’t desire the night, when people are cut off in their place.
Ten cuidado de no girarte al pecado porque estás siendo probado al sufrir para que te mantengas alejado del pecado.
Guárdate, no tornes á la iniquidad; pues ésta escogiste más bien que la aflicción.
Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
Take heed, don’t regard iniquity; for you have chosen this rather than affliction.
Mira, Dios es exaltado en Su poder; ¿Quién es un maestro como Él?
He aquí que Dios es excelso con su potencia: ¿qué enseñador semejante á él?
Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?
Behold, God is exalted in his power. Who is a teacher like him?
¿Quién alguna vez lo ha instruído a Él en su camino? ¿Quién puede alguna vez decirle a Él: 'Tú has cometido injusticia?'
¿Quién le ha prescrito su camino? ¿y quién le dirá: Iniquidad has hecho?
Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?
Who has prescribed his way for him? Or who can say, ‘You have committed unrighteousness’?
Recuerda alabar Sus obras, de las cuales ha cantado la gente.
Acuérdate de engrandecer su obra, la cual contemplan los hombres.
Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.
“Remember that you magnify his work, about which men have sung.
Toda las personas han mirado esas obras, pero ellos ven esas obras solo desde muy lejos.
Los hombres todos la ven; mírala el hombre de lejos.
Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.
All men have looked on it. Man sees it afar off.
Mira, Dios es grande, pero nosotros no lo entendemos bien a Él; el número de sus años es incalculable.
He aquí, Dios es grande, y nosotros no le conocemos; ni se puede rastrear el número de sus años.
Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
Behold, God is great, and we don’t know him. The number of his years is unsearchable.
Pues Él dibuja las gotas de agua que Él filtra como lluvia de Su vapor,
El reduce las gotas de las aguas, al derramarse la lluvia según el vapor;
For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:
For he draws up the drops of water, which distill in rain from his vapor,
la cual las nubes echan abajo y caen en abundancia sobre la humanidad.
Las cuales destilan las nubes, goteando en abundancia sobre los hombres.
Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
which the skies pour down and which drop on man abundantly.
De hecho, ¿puede alguien entender la extensa cantidad de las nubes y el trueno desde su choza?
¿Quién podrá tampoco comprender la extensión de las nubes, y el sonido estrepitoso de su pabellón?
Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?
Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of the clouds and the thunderings of his pavilion?
Mira, Él esparce Su rélampago sobre él y cubre las raíces del mar.
He aquí que sobre él extiende su luz, y cobija con ella las raíces de la mar.
Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
Behold, he spreads his light around him. He covers the bottom of the sea.
En Su camino, Él juzga la gente y da comida en abundancia.
Bien que por esos medios castiga á los pueblos, á la multitud da comida.
For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.
For by these he judges the people. He gives food in abundance.
Él llena Su mano con el relámpago hasta que Él le ordena que caíga contra su objetivo.
Con las nubes encubre la luz, y mándale no brillar, interponiendo aquéllas.
With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.
He covers his hands with the lightning, and commands it to strike the mark.
Su trueno advierte de la tormenta, el ganado también escucha que viene.
Tocante á ella anunciará el trueno, su compañero, que hay acumulación de ira sobre el que se eleva.
The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.
Its noise tells about him, and the livestock also, concerning the storm that comes up.
