Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
"¿Cuándo vas a detener tu hablar? Considera, y después nosotros vamos a hablar.
¿Cuándo pondréis fin á las palabras? Entended, y después hablemos.
How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
“How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak.
¿Porqué somos considerados como bestias; porqué nos hemos convertido estúpidos en tu visión?
¿Por qué somos tenidos por bestias, y en vuestros ojos somos viles?
Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
Why are we counted as animals, which have become unclean in your sight?
Tú quién te desgarras a ti mismo en tu enojo, ¿Debe la tierra ser abandonada por ti o las rocas ser removidas fuera de sus lugares?
Oh tú, que despedazas tu alma con tu furor, ¿será dejada la tierra por tu causa, y serán traspasadas de su lugar las peñas?
He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
You who tear yourself in your anger, will the earth be forsaken for you? Or will the rock be removed out of its place?
En efecto, la luz de las personas malvadas va a ser apagada; la chispa de su fuego no va a brillar.
Ciertamente la luz de los impíos será apagada, y no resplandecerá la centella de su fuego.
Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
“Yes, the light of the wicked will be put out. The spark of his fire won’t shine.
La luz va a ser oscura en su tienda; su lámpara sobre él va a ser apagada.
La luz se oscurecerá en su tienda, y apagaráse sobre él su lámpara.
The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
The light will be dark in his tent. His lamp above him will be put out.
Los pasos de su fuerza se harán cortos; sus propios planes van a derrumbarlo.
Los pasos de su pujanza serán acortados, y precipitarálo su mismo consejo.
The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
The steps of his strength will be shortened. His own counsel will cast him down.
Pues él va a ser echado en una red por sus propios pies; él va a caminar a la trampa.
Porque red será echada en sus pies, y sobre red andará.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he wanders into its mesh.
Una trampa lo va a tomar por el talón; un lazo lo sujetará.
Lazo prenderá su calcañar: afirmaráse la trampa contra él.
The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.
A snare will take him by the heel. A trap will catch him.
Una soga está escondida para él en la tierra; y una trampa para él en el camino.
Su cuerda está escondida en la tierra, y su torzuelo sobre la senda.
The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
A noose is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him on the path.
Terrores lo harán temer en cada lado; ellos van a perseguirlo en sus talones.
De todas partes lo asombrarán temores, y haránle huir desconcertado.
Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
Terrors will make him afraid on every side, and will chase him at his heels.
Su riqueza va a convertirse en hambre, y la calamidad va a estar preparada a su lado.
Su fuerza será hambrienta, y á su lado estará aparejado quebrantamiento.
His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
His strength will be famished. Calamity will be ready at his side.
Las partes de su cuerpo van a ser devoradas; en efecto, el primer hijo de muerte va a devorar sus partes.
El primogénito de la muerte comerá los ramos de su piel, y devorará sus miembros.
It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
The members of his body will be devoured. The firstborn of death will devour his members.
Él es arrancado de la seguridad de su tienda y hecho marchar hacia el rey de los terrores.
Su confianza será arrancada de su tienda, y harále esto llevar al rey de los espantos.
His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
He will be rooted out of the security of his tent. He will be brought to the king of terrors.
No su propria gente va a vivir en su tienda después de que ellos vean que el azúfre es dispersado en su casa.
En su tienda morará como si no fuese suya: piedra azufre será esparcida sobre su morada.
It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
There will dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur will be scattered on his habitation.
Sus raíces se secarán debajo; arriba se cortarán sus ramas.
Abajo se secarán sus raíces, y arriba serán cortadas sus ramas.
His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
His roots will be dried up beneath. His branch will be cut off above.
Su memoria va a perecer de la tierra; él no tendrá nombre en la calle.
Su memoria perecerá de la tierra, y no tendrá nombre por las calles.
His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
His memory will perish from the earth. He will have no name in the street.
Él será conducido de la luz a la oscuridad y será expulsado fuera de este mundo.
De la luz será lanzado á las tinieblas, y echado fuera del mundo.
He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
He will be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
Él no tendrá hijo o hijo de sus hijos de entre su gente, ni ningún pariente restante donde el se había quedado.
No tendrá hijo ni nieto en su pueblo, ni quien le suceda en sus moradas.
He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
He will have neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining where he lived.
Aquellos quienes viven en el oeste van a ser horrorizados con lo que le pasará a él un día; aquellos quienes vivan en el este van a ser asustados por esto.
Sobre su día se espantarán los por venir, como ocupó el pavor á los que fueron antes.
They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
Those who come after will be astonished at his day, as those who went before were frightened.
Seguramente así son las casas de las personas injustas, los lugares de aquellos quienes no conocen a Dios."
Ciertamente tales son las moradas del impío, y este será el lugar del que no conoció á Dios.
Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous. This is the place of him who doesn’t know God.”
