“¿Hasta cuándo pondréis fin a las palabras? Entended vosotros, y después hablemos.

How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
“How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak.
¿Por qué somos tenidos por bestias, y a vuestros ojos somos viles?
¿Por qué somos tenidos por bestias, y en vuestros ojos somos viles?
Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
Why are we counted as animals, which have become unclean in your sight?
Oh tú, que te despedazas en tu furor, ¿será abandonada la tierra por amor de ti, o serán removidas las peñas de su lugar?
Oh tú, que despedazas tu alma con tu furor, ¿será dejada la tierra por tu causa, y serán traspasadas de su lugar las peñas?
He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
You who tear yourself in your anger, will the earth be forsaken for you? Or will the rock be removed out of its place?
«Ciertamente la luz de los impíos se apagará, y no resplandecerá la centella de su fuego.

Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
“Yes, the light of the wicked will be put out. The spark of his fire won’t shine.
La luz se oscurecerá en su tienda, y su lámpara se apagará sobre él.

The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
The light will be dark in his tent. His lamp above him will be put out.
Los pasos de su fuerza serán acortados, y su propio consejo lo hará caer.
Los pasos de su pujanza serán acortados, y precipitarálo su mismo consejo.
The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
The steps of his strength will be shortened. His own counsel will cast him down.
Porque sus propios pies lo arrojan en la red, y sobre la malla camina.
Porque red será echada en sus pies, y sobre red andará.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he wanders into its mesh.
El lazo lo prenderá por el calcañar; la trampa prevalecerá contra él.
Lazo prenderá su calcañar: afirmaráse la trampa contra él.
The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.
A snare will take him by the heel. A trap will catch him.
Su cuerda está escondida en la tierra, y una celada le aguarda en el sendero.
Su cuerda está escondida en la tierra, y su torzuelo sobre la senda.
The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
A noose is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him on the path.
Por todas partes lo espantarán terrores, y le perseguirán paso a paso.
De todas partes lo asombrarán temores, y haránle huir desconcertado.
Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
Terrors will make him afraid on every side, and will chase him at his heels.
Hambrienta será su fuerza, y el quebranto estará preparado a su lado.
Su fuerza será hambrienta, y á su lado estará aparejado quebrantamiento.
His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
His strength will be famished. Calamity will be ready at his side.
Las enfermedades devorarán los miembros de su cuerpo; el primogénito de la muerte devorará sus miembros.
El primogénito de la muerte comerá los ramos de su piel, y devorará sus miembros.
It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
The members of his body will be devoured. The firstborn of death will devour his members.
De su tienda, donde estaba seguro, será arrancado, y será llevado al rey de los terrores.
Su confianza será arrancada de su tienda, y harále esto llevar al rey de los espantos.
His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
He will be rooted out of the security of his tent. He will be brought to the king of terrors.
En su tienda habitará lo que no es suyo; azufre será esparcido sobre su morada.
En su tienda morará como si no fuese suya: piedra azufre será esparcida sobre su morada.
It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
There will dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur will be scattered on his habitation.
Por abajo se secarán sus raíces, y por arriba serán cortadas sus ramas.

No tendrá hijo ni nieto en su pueblo, ni quien le suceda en sus moradas.

He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
He will have neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining where he lived.
Sobre su día se espantarán los venideros, como el terror sobrecogió a los antiguos.

They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.

Ciertamente tales son las moradas de los injustos, y este es el lugar del que no conoció a Dios».

Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous. This is the place of him who doesn’t know God.”
