Mira, mi ojo ha visto todo esto; mi oído ha escuchado y lo entendió.
HE AQUÍ que todas estas cosas han visto mis ojos, y oído y entendido de por sí mis oídos.
Lo, mine eye hath seen all this, mine ear hath heard and understood it.
“Behold, my eye has seen all this. My ear has heard and understood it.
Qué tú sabes, lo mismo sé yo tambien; yo no soy inferior a tí.
Como vosotros lo sabéis, lo sé yo; no soy menos que vosotros.
What ye know, the same do I know also: I am not inferior unto you.
What you know, I know also. I am not inferior to you.
De todas formas, yo preferiría hablar con el Todopoderoso; yo deseo razonar con Dios.
Mas yo hablaría con el Todopoderoso, y querría razonar con Dios.
Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
“Surely I would speak to the Almighty. I desire to reason with God.
Pero ustedes blanquean la verdad con mentiras; ustedes todos son médicos sin valor.
Que ciertamente vosotros sois fraguadores de mentira; sois todos vosotros médicos nulos.
But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.
But you are forgers of lies. You are all physicians of no value.
¡Oh, si todos ustedes se mantuvieran en silencio! Eso sería su sabiduría.
Ojalá callarais del todo, porque os fuera sabiduría.
O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.
Oh that you would be completely silent! Then you would be wise.
Ahora escuchen mi propio razonamiento; presten atención a los argumentos de mis propios labios.
Oid ahora mi razonamiento, y estad atentos á los argumentos de mis labios.
Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.

¿Hablarán ustedes injustamente por Dios, y hablarás engañosamente por Él?
¿Habéis de hablar iniquidad por Dios? ¿habéis de hablar por él engaño?
Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
Will you speak unrighteously for God, and talk deceitfully for him?
¿Ustedes le mostrarían realmente bondad a Él? ¿Ustedes argumentarían realmente en corte como abogados por Dios?
¿Habéis de hacer acepción de su persona? ¿habéis de pleitear vosotros por Dios?
Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
Will you show partiality to him? Will you contend for God?
¿Sería bueno realmente para ustedes cuándo ÉL los investigue? ¿Podrán ustedes engañarlo como ustedes engañan a los hombres?
¿Sería bueno que él os escudriñase? ¿os burlaréis de él como quien se burla de algún hombre?
Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?
Is it good that he should search you out? Or as one deceives a man, will you deceive him?
Él seguramente los reprobaría a ustedes si en secreto mostraran parcialidad.
El os reprochará de seguro, si solapadamente hacéis acepción de personas.
He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
He will surely reprove you if you secretly show partiality.
¿No te haría Su majestuosidad estar asustado? ¿No caería Su miedo sobre ustedes?
De cierto su alteza os había de espantar, y su pavor había de caer sobre vosotros.
Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?
Won’t his majesty make you afraid and his dread fall on you?
Los dichos memorables de ustedes son proverbios hechos de cenizas; sus defensas son defensas hechas de arcilla.
Vuestras memorias serán comparadas á la ceniza, y vuestros cuerpos como cuerpos de lodo.
Your remembrances are like unto ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay.
Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes. Your defenses are defenses of clay.
Mantengan silencio, déjenme solo, para que así yo pueda hablar, que suceda lo que me tenga que suceder.
Escuchadme, y hablaré yo, y véngame después lo que viniere.
Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will.
“Be silent! Leave me alone, that I may speak. Let come on me what will.
Yo tomaré mi propia carne en mis dientes; yo tomaré mi vida en mis manos.
¿Por qué quitaré yo mi carne con mis dientes, y pondré mi alma en mi mano?
Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?
Why should I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand?
Miren, si Él me mata, no tendré esperanza; no obstante, defenderé mis caminos ante Él.
He aquí, aunque me matare, en él esperaré; empero defenderé delante de él mis caminos.
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
Behold, he will kill me. I have no hope. Nevertheless, I will maintain my ways before him.
Esta será la razón para mi absolución, que yo no vengo ante Él como un hombre impío.
Y él mismo me será salud, porque no entrará en su presencia el hipócrita.
He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
This also will be my salvation, that a godless man will not come before him.
Dios, escucha cuidadosamente a mi discurso; permite que mi declaración llegue a tus oídos.
Oid con atención mi razonamiento, y mi denunciación con vuestros oídos.
Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears.
Listen carefully to my speech. Let my declaration be in your ears.
Míra ahora, yo he puesto mi defensa en orden; yo se que soy inocente.
He aquí ahora, si yo me apercibiere á juicio, sé que seré justificado.
Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.
See now, I have set my cause in order. I know that I am righteous.
¿Quién es el que argumentaría en mi contra en la corte? Si Tu vienes a hacerlo, y si fuese probado que estoy equivocado, entonces estaría en silencio y rendiría mi vida.
¿Quién es el que pleiteará conmigo? porque si ahora yo callara, fenecería.
Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
Who is he who will contend with me? For then I would hold my peace and give up the spirit.
Dios, solo haz dos cosas por mí, y entonces no me esconderé de tu rostro:
A lo menos dos cosas no hagas conmigo; entonces no me esconderé de tu rostro:
Only do not two things unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.
“Only don’t do two things to me, then I will not hide myself from your face:
quita Tu mano opresora de sobre mi, y no permitas que tus terrores me me causen miedo.
Aparta de mí tu mano, y no me asombre tu terror.
Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.
withdraw your hand far from me, and don’t let your terror make me afraid.
Entonce llámame, y contestaré; o dejame hablarte a Tí, y Tú contéstame.
Llama luego, y yo responderé; ó yo hablaré, y respóndeme tú.
Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.
Then call, and I will answer, or let me speak, and you answer me.
¿Cuántas son mis iniquidades y pecados? Dejame saber mis transgresiones y mis pecados.
¿Cuántas iniquidades y pecados tengo yo? hazme entender mi prevaricación y mi pecado.
How many are mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.
How many are my iniquities and sins? Make me know my disobedience and my sin.
¿Porqué escondes Tu rostro de mi y me tratas como Tu enemigo?
¿Por qué escondes tu rostro, y me cuentas por tu enemigo?
Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?
Why do you hide your face, and consider me your enemy?
¿Perseguirás Tú una hoja suelta? ¿Buscarás Tú matojos secos?
¿A la hoja arrebatada has de quebrantar? ¿y á una arista seca has de perseguir?
Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?
Will you harass a driven leaf? Will you pursue the dry stubble?
Pero Tú escribes amargas cosas contra mí; Tu me haces heredar las iniquidades de mi juventud.
¿Por qué escribes contra mí amarguras, y me haces cargo de los pecados de mi mocedad?
For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.
For you write bitter things against me, and make me inherit the iniquities of my youth.
Tambien pusiste mis pies en el cepo; Tú vigilas de cerca mis caminos; Tú examinas la tierra donde las plantas de mis pies han caminado;
Pones además mis pies en el cepo, y guardas todos mis caminos, imprimiéndolo á las raíces de mis pies.
Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.
You also put my feet in the stocks, and mark all my paths. You set a bound to the soles of my feet,
si bien, soy como una cosa pudrida que se deshace, como una vestimenta que la polilla ha comido.
Y el cuerpo mío se va gastando como de carcoma, como vestido que se come de polilla.
And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten.
though I am decaying like a rotten thing, like a garment that is moth-eaten.
