Temprano en la mañana Él vino al templo otra vez, y toda la gente vino a Él; y sentandose Él, les enseñaba.

And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

Los escribas y los fariseos trajeron a una mujer sorprendida en el acto del adulterio. Ellos la pusieron en el medio.
Entonces los escribas y los Fariseos le traen una mujer tomada en adulterio; y poniéndola en medio,
And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

Entonces ellos Le dijeron a Jesús: "Maestro, esta mujer ha sido sorprendida en el acto de adulterio.
Dícenle: Maestro, esta mujer ha sido tomada en el mismo hecho, adulterando;
They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
they told him, “Teacher, we found this woman in adultery, in the very act.
Ahora, en la ley Moisés nos mandó a apedrear a tales personas; ¿qué dices Tú sobre ella?"
Y en la ley Moisés nos mandó apedrear á las tales: tú pues, ¿qué dices?
Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
Now in our law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. What then do you say about her?”
Ellos decían esto para tentarlo y tener algo de qué acusarlo, pero Jesús se inclinó y escribió en el suelo con Su dedo.
Mas esto decían tentándole, para poder acusarle. Empero Jesús, inclinado hacia abajo, escribía en tierra con el dedo.
This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
They said this testing him, that they might have something to accuse him of. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger.
Cuando continuaron preguntándole, Él se paró y les dijo: "El que esté sin pecado entre ustedes, deje que sea éste el primero en arrojarle la piedra a ella."
Y como perseverasen preguntándole, enderezóse, y díjoles: El que de vosotros esté sin pecado, arroje contra ella la piedra el primero.
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her.”
Nuevamente bajándose, escribió en el suelo con Su dedo.
Y volviéndose á inclinar hacia abajo, escribía en tierra.
And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger.
Cuando ellos escucharon esto, se marcharon uno por uno, comenzando por los más viejos. Finalmente, dejaron a Jesús solo y a la mujer que habían puesto entre ellos.
Oyendo, pues, ellos, redargüidos de la conciencia, salíanse uno á uno, comenzando desde los más viejos hasta los postreros: y quedó solo Jesús, y la mujer que estaba en medio.
And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle.
Jesús se paró y le dijo: "Mujer, ¿dónde están los que te acusan? ¿Nadie te condenó?
Y enderezándose Jesús, y no viendo á nadie más que á la mujer, díjole: ¿Mujer, dónde están los que te acusaban? ¿Ninguno te ha condenado?
When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
Jesus, standing up, saw her and said, “Woman, where are your accusers? Did no one condemn you?”
Ella dijo: "Nadie, Señor." Jesús le dijo: "Ni Yo tampoco te condeno. Vé y no peques más."
Y ella dijo: Señor, ninguno. Entonces Jesús le dijo: Ni yo te condeno: vete, y no peques más.
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
She said, “No one, Lord.” Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more.”
Nuevamente Jesús les habló diciendo: "Yo soy la luz del mundo; el que Me sigue no caminará en oscuridad sino que tendrá la luz de la vida."
Y hablóles Jesús otra vez, diciendo: Yo soy la luz del mundo: el que me sigue, no andará en tinieblas, mas tendrá la lumbre de la vida.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Los fariseos Le dijeron: "Tú das testimonio de Ti mismo; Tu testimonio no es verdadero."
Entonces los Fariseos le dijeron: Tú de ti mismo das testimonio: tu testimonio no es verdadero.
The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
The Pharisees therefore said to him, “You testify about yourself. Your testimony is not valid.”
Jesús les contestó y les dijo: "Aún si doy testimonio de Mí mismo, Mi testimonio es verdadero. Sé de dónde vine y adónde voy, pero ustedes no saben de dónde vine ni adónde voy.
Respondió Jesús, y díjoles: Aunque yo doy testimonio de mí mismo, mi testimonio es verdadero, porque sé de dónde he venido y á dónde voy; mas vosotros no sabéis de dónde vengo, y á dónde voy.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
Jesus answered them, “Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from, and where I am going; but you don’t know where I came from, or where I am going.
Ustedes juzgan según la carne; Yo no juzgo a nadie.
Vosotros según la carne juzgáis; mas yo no juzgo á nadie.
Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.
Aún si juzgo, Mi juicio es verdadero porque no estoy solo, porque estoy con el Padre que me envió.
Y si yo juzgo, mi juicio es verdadero; porque no soy solo, sino yo y el que me envió, el Padre.
And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
Even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent me.
Y en vuestra ley está escrito que el testimonio de dos hombres, es verdadero.
Y en vuestra ley está escrito que el testimonio de dos hombres es verdadero.
It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
It’s also written in your law that the testimony of two people is valid.
Yo soy Aquél que da testimonio acerca de Sí mismo, y el Padre que Me envió da testimonio de Mí."
Yo soy el que doy testimonio de mí mismo: y da testimonio de mí el que me envió, el Padre.
I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
I am one who testifies about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.”
Ellos Le dijeron: "¿Dónde está Tu Padre?" Jesús contestó: "Ustedes no Me conocen a Mí ni a Mi Padre; si ustedes Me conocieran, Tambien a Mi Padre conocerian."
Y decíanle: ¿Dónde está tu Padre? Respondió Jesús: Ni á mí me conocéis, ni á mi Padre; si á mí me conocieseis, á mi Padre también conocierais.
Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
They said therefore to him, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”
Él dijo estas palabras en el lugar de las ofrendas mientras enseñaba en el templo, y nadie Lo arrestó porque Su hora aún no había llegado.
Estas palabras habló Jesús en el lugar de las limosnas, enseñando en el templo: y nadie le prendió; porque aun no había venido su hora.
These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, as he taught in the temple. Yet no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come.
Él les dijo otra vez: "Yo me voy y Me buscarán, y en su pecado morirán. Adonde Yo voy, ustedes no pueden venir."
Y díjoles otra vez Jesús: Yo me voy, y me buscaréis, mas en vuestro pecado moriréis: á donde yo voy, vosotros no podéis venir.
Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
Jesus said therefore again to them, “I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sins. Where I go, you can’t come.”
Los judíos dijeron: "¿Se matará a Sí mismo? ¿Es por eso que dijo: 'Adonde Yo iré ustedes no pueden venir'?"
Decían entonces los Judíos: ¿Hase de matar á sí mismo, que dice: A donde yo voy, vosotros no podéis venir?
Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
The Jews therefore said, “Will he kill himself, because he says, ‘Where I am going, you can’t come’?”
Jesús les dijo: "Ustedes son de abajo; Yo soy de arriba. Ustedes son de este mundo; Yo no soy de este mundo.
Y decíales: Vosotros sois de abajo, yo soy de arriba; vosotros sois de este mundo, yo no soy de este mundo.
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
He said to them, “You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.
Por lo tanto, Yo les digo a ustedes que moriran en sus pecados. Porque a menos que ustedes crean que YO SOY, ustedes morirán en sus pecados."
Por eso os dije que moriréis en vuestros pecados; porque si no creyereis que yo soy, en vuestros pecados moriréis.
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.”
Por lo tanto, ellos Le dijeron: "¿Quién eres Tú?" Jesús les dijo: "Lo que les he dicho desde el principio.
Y decíanle: ¿Tú quién eres? Entonces Jesús les dijo: El que al principio también os he dicho.
Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
They said therefore to him, “Who are you?” Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.
Yo tengo muchas cosas que hablar y juzgar acerca de ustedes. Sin embargo, Aquél que Me envió es verdadero; y las cosas que he escuchado de Él, estas cosas Yo se las hablo al mundo."
Muchas cosas tengo que decir y juzgar de vosotros: mas el que me envió, es verdadero: y yo, lo que he oído de él, esto hablo en el mundo.
I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you. However, he who sent me is true; and the things which I heard from him, these I say to the world.”
Ellos no entendían que Él les estaba hablando acerca del Padre.
Mas no entendieron que él les hablaba del Padre.
They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
They didn’t understand that he spoke to them about the Father.
Jesús dijo: "Cuando ustedes levanten al Hijo del Hombre, entonces sabrán que YO SOY, y que Yo no hago nada por Mí mismo. Así como el Padre Me enseñó, Yo hablo estas cosas.
Díjoles pues, Jesús: Cuando levantareis al Hijo del hombre, entonces entenderéis que yo soy, y que nada hago de mí mismo; mas como el Padre me enseñó, esto hablo.
Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
Jesus therefore said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and I do nothing of myself, but as my Father taught me, I say these things.
Él que Me envió está Conmigo, y Él no Me ha dejado solo, porque Yo siempre hago lo que Le agrada."
Porque el que me envió, conmigo está; no me ha dejado solo el Padre; porque yo, lo que á él agrada, hago siempre.
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
He who sent me is with me. The Father hasn’t left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.”
Mientras Jesús decía estas cosas, muchos creyeron en Él.
Hablando él estas cosas, muchos creyeron en él.
As he spake these words, many believed on him.
As he spoke these things, many believed in him.
Jesús les dijo a aquellos judíos que creyeron en Él: "Si ustedes permanecen en Mi palabra, entonces ustedes son verdaderamente Mis discípulos;
Y decía Jesús á los Judíos que le habían creído: Si vosotros permaneciereis en mi palabra, seréis verdaderamente mis discípulos;
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples.
y ustedes conocerán la verdad, y la verdad los hará libres."
Y conoceréis la verdad, y la verdad os libertará.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Ellos Le respondieron: "Nosotros somos descendientes de Abraham y nunca hemos sido esclavos de nadie; ¿cómo puedes decir: 'Ustedes serán libres'?"
Y respondiéronle: Simiente de Abraham somos, y jamás servimos á nadie: ¿cómo dices tú: Seréis libres?
They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
They answered him, “We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, ‘You will be made free’?”
Jesús les repondió: "De cierto, de cierto les digo, que cualquiera que cometa pecado, es esclavo del pecado.
Jesús les respondió: De cierto, de cierto os digo, que todo aquel que hace pecado, es siervo de pecado.
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.
Y el esclavo no permanece en la casa para siempre; el hijo si permanece para siempre.
Y el siervo no queda en casa para siempre: el hijo queda para siempre.
And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever.
De este modo, si el Hijo los hace libres, serán verdaderamente libres.
Así que, si el Hijo os libertare, seréis verdaderamente libres.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
Yo sé que ustedes son descendientes de Abraham; pero buscan matarme, porque Mi palabra no encuentra lugar en ustedes.
Sé que sois simiente de Abraham, mas procuráis matarme, porque mi palabra no cabe en vosotros.
I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
I know that you are Abraham’s offspring, yet you seek to kill me, because my word finds no place in you.
Yo les hablo lo que Yo he visto con Mi Padre, y ustedes hacen las que han escuchado de vuestro padre."
Yo hablo lo que he visto cerca del Padre; y vosotros hacéis lo que habéis oído cerca de vuestro padre.
I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
I say the things which I have seen with my Father; and you also do the things which you have seen with your father.”
Ellos Le respondieron y dijeron: "Nuestro padre es Abraham." Jesús les dijo: "Si fueran hijos de Abraham, ustedes harían las obras de Abraham.
Respondieron y dijéronle: Nuestro padre es Abraham. Díceles Jesús: Si fuerais hijos de Abraham, las obras de Abraham haríais.
They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
They answered him, “Our father is Abraham.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham.
Sin embargo, ahora Me buscan para matarme, un Hombre que les ha hablado la verdad, la cual he escuchado de Dios. Abraham no hizo esto.
Empero ahora procuráis matarme, hombre que os he hablado la verdad, la cual he oído de Dios: no hizo esto Abraham.
But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do this.
Ustedes hacen las obras de vuestro padre." Ellos Le dijeron: " Nosotros no hemos nacido de la inmoralidad sexual; un Padre tenemos: Dios."
Vosotros hacéis las obras de vuestro padre. Dijéronle entonces: Nosotros no somos nacidos de fornicación; un padre tenemos, que es Dios.
Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
You do the works of your father.” They said to him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God.”
Jesús les dijo: "Si Dios fuera vuestro Padre, ustedes Me amarían, porque Yo he salido de Dios y estoy aquí; porque no vengo de Mí mismo, sino que Él Me envió.
Jesús entonces les dijo: Si vuestro padre fuera Dios, ciertamente me amaríais: porque yo de Dios he salido, y he venido; que no he venido de mí mismo, mas él me envió.
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Therefore Jesus said to them, “If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven’t come of myself, but he sent me.
¿Por qué no entienden Mis palabras? Es porque no pueden escuchar Mis palabras.
¿Por qué no reconocéis mi lenguaje? porque no podéis oir mi palabra.
Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Why don’t you understand my speech? Because you can’t hear my word.
Ustedes son de vuestro padre, el diablo, y desean hacer los deseos de vuestro padre. Él fue un asesino desde el principio, y no permanece en la verdad, porque no hay verdad en él. Cuando él habla mentira, él habla desde su propia naturaleza; porque él es mentiroso, y el padre de la mentira.
Vosotros de vuestro padre el diablo sois, y los deseos de vuestro padre queréis cumplir. El, homicida ha sido desde el principio, y no permaneció en la verdad, porque no hay verdad en él. Cuando habla mentira, de suyo habla; porque es mentiroso, y padre de mentira.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.
Sin embargo, porque hablo la verdad, ustedes no creen en Mí.
Y porque yo digo verdad, no me creéis.
And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
But because I tell the truth, you don’t believe me.
¿Quién de ustedes Me acusa de pecado? Si Yo hablo la verdad, ¿por qué no Me creen?
¿Quién de vosotros me redarguye de pecado? Pues si digo verdad, ¿por qué vosotros no me creéis?
Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me?
Aquél que es de Dios, las palabras de Dios oye; por esto no las oyen ustedes, porque no son de Dios."
El que es de Dios, las palabras de Dios oye: por esto no las oís vosotros, porque no sois de Dios.
He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
He who is of God hears the words of God. For this cause you don’t hear, because you are not of God.”
Los judíos respondieron y le dijeron: "¿No tenemos razón en decir que Tú eres samaritano y que tienes un demonio?"
Respondieron entonces los Judíos, y dijéronle: ¿No decimos bien nosotros, que tú eres Samaritano, y tienes demonio?
Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
Then the Jews answered him, “Don’t we say well that you are a Samaritan, and have a demon?”
Jesús les repondió: "Yo no tengo un demonio; sino que honro a Mi Padre, y ustedes Me deshonran a Mí.
Respondió Jesús: Yo no tengo demonio, antes honro á mi Padre; y vosotros me habéis deshonrado.
Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
Jesus answered, “I don’t have a demon, but I honor my Father and you dishonor me.
Yo no busco Mi gloria; hay Uno que la busca y juzga.
Y no busco mi gloria: hay quien la busque, y juzgue.
And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
But I don’t seek my own glory. There is one who seeks and judges.
De cierto, de cierto les digo, si alguno guarda Mi palabra, éste nunca verá la muerte."
De cierto, de cierto os digo, que el que guardare mi palabra, no verá muerte para siempre.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
Most certainly, I tell you, if a person keeps my word, he will never see death.”
Los judíos le dijeron: "Ahora sabemos que Tú tienes un demonio. Abraham y los profetas murieron; pero Tú dices: 'Si alguno guarda Mi palabra, éste nunca saboreará la muerte.'
Entonces los Judíos le dijeron: Ahora conocemos que tienes demonio. Abraham murió, y los profetas, y tú dices: El que guardare mi palabra, no gustará muerte para siempre.
Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
Then the Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, as did the prophets; and you say, ‘If a man keeps my word, he will never taste of death.’
Tú no eres mayor que nuestro padre Abraham quien murió, ¿o lo eres? y los profetas también murieron. ¿Quién te haces a ti mismo?"
¿Eres tú mayor que nuestro padre Abraham, el cual murió? y los profetas murieron: ¿quién te haces á ti mismo?
Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets died. Who do you make yourself out to be?”
Jesús contestó: "Si Yo me glorifico a Mí mismo, Mi gloria nada es; Mi Padre es el que Me glorifica, el que ustedes dicen que es su Dios.
Respondió Jesús: Si yo me glorifico á mí mismo, mi gloria es nada: mi Padre es el que me glorifica; el que vosotros decís que es vuestro Dios;
Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God.
Y ustedes no Lo han conocido, pero Yo lo conozco a Él. Si Yo dijera: 'Yo no lo conozco a Él', Yo sería como ustedes, un mentiroso. Sin embargo, Yo lo conozco a Él y guardo Su palabra.
Y no le conocéis: mas yo le conozco; y si dijere que no le conozco, seré como vosotros mentiroso: mas le conozco, y guardo su palabra.
Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
You have not known him, but I know him. If I said, ‘I don’t know him,’ I would be like you, a liar. But I know him and keep his word.
El padre de ustedes, Abraham, se regocijó al ver Mi día; y lo vio, y se alegró.
Abraham vuestro padre se gozó por ver mi día; y lo vió, y se gozó.
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it and was glad.”
Los judíos le dijeron: "Tú no tienes aún cincuenta años, ¿y has visto a Abraham?"
Dijéronle entonces los Judíos: Aun no tienes cincuenta años, ¿y has visto á Abraham?
Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
The Jews therefore said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old! Have you seen Abraham?”

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Jesus said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM.”
Entonces ellos tomaron piedras para lanzárselas, pero Jesús se escondió y salió del templo.
Tomaron entonces piedras para tirarle: mas Jesús se encubrió, y salió del templo; y atravesando por medio de ellos, se fué.
Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
