Después de estas cosas, Jesús se fue al otro lado del Mar de Galilea, también llamado el Mar de Tiberias.

PASADAS estas cosas, fuése Jesús de la otra parte de la mar de Galilea, que es de Tiberias.

After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.

After these things, Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is also called the Sea of Tiberias.

Una gran multidud lo estaba siguiendo a Él, porque estaban viendo las señales que Él hacía en esos que estaban enfermos.

Y seguíale grande multitud, porque veían sus señales que hacía en los enfermos.

And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.

A great multitude followed him, because they saw his signs which he did on those who were sick.

Jesús se fue a un lado de la montaña y se sentó allí con Sus discípulos.

Y subió Jesús á un monte, y se sentó allí con sus discípulos.

And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.

Jesus went up into the mountain, and he sat there with his disciples.

(Ahora, la Pascua, la fiesta de los judíos, estaba cerca.)

Y estaba cerca la Pascua, la fiesta de los Judíos.

And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand.

Cuando Jesús levantó Su mirada y vio una gran multidud viniendo hacia Él, le dijo a Felipe: "¿Dónde compraremos pan para que estos puedan comer?"

Y como alzó Jesús los ojos, y vió que había venido á él grande multitud, dice á Felipe: ¿De dónde compraremos pan para que coman éstos?

When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

Jesus therefore, lifting up his eyes and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?”

(Pero Jesús dijo esto para probar a Felipe, porque Él sabía lo que Él mismo iba a hacer.)

Mas esto decía para probarle; porque él sabía lo que había de hacer.

And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.

He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.

Felipe le contestó: "Doscientos denarios de pan no serían suficientes para que cada uno tenga aunque sea un poco."

Respondióle Felipe: Doscientos denarios de pan no les bastarán, para que cada uno de ellos tome un poco.

Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may receive a little.”

Uno de los discípulos, Andrés, el hermano de Simón Pedro, le dijo a Jesús:

Dícele uno de sus discípulos, Andrés, hermano de Simón Pedro:

One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him,

One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him,

"Aquí hay un niño que tiene cinco hogazas de cebada y dos peces, pero ¿qué son estos entre tantos?"

Un muchacho está aquí que tiene cinco panes de cebada y dos pececillos; ¿mas qué es esto entre tantos?

There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?

“There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these among so many?”

Jesús dijo: "Hagan que las personas se sienten." (Ahora, había mucha hierba en el lugar.) Así que los hombres se sentaron, cerca de cinco mil en número.

Entonces Jesús dijo: Haced recostar la gente. Y había mucha hierba en aquel lugar: y recostáronse como número de cinco mil varones.

And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in that place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

Entonces, Jesús tomó las hogazas y después de dar gracias, los dió a aquéllos que estaban sentados, y de la misma manera los peces, tanto como ellos quisieron.

Y tomó Jesús aquellos panes, y habiendo dado gracias, repartió á los discípulos, y los discípulos á los que estaban recostados: asimismo de los peces, cuanto querían.

And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

Jesus took the loaves, and having given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those who were sitting down, likewise also of the fish as much as they desired.

Cuando se saciaron, Él dijo a Sus discípulos: "Junten los pedazos que quedan, para que nada se pierda."

Y como fueron saciados, dijo á sus discípulos: Recoged los pedazos que han quedado, porque no se pierda nada.

When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

When they were filled, he said to his disciples, “Gather up the broken pieces which are left over, that nothing be lost.”

Así que juntaron y llenaron doce cestas con los pedazos que habían quedado de las cinco hogazas de pan de cebada; los pedazos que sobraron de quienes habían comido.

Cogieron pues, é hinchieron doce cestas de pedazos de los cinco panes de cebada, que sobraron á los que habían comido.

Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.

Entonces, cuando las personas vieron esta señal que Él hizo, dijeron: "Éste verdaderamente es el profeta que ha de venir al mundo."

Aquellos hombres entonces, como vieron la señal que Jesús había hecho, decían: Este verdaderamente es el profeta que había de venir al mundo.

Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

When therefore the people saw the sign which Jesus did, they said, “This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.”

Cuando Jesús se dio cuenta que ellos estaban a punto de venir y agarrarlo a la fuerza para hacerlo rey, Él se retiró a solas a la montaña otra vez.

Y entendiendo Jesús que habían de venir para arrebatarle, y hacerle rey, volvió á retirarse al monte, él solo.

When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

Jesus therefore, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.

Cuando la tarde llegó, Sus discípulos bajaron al mar.

Y como se hizo tarde, descendieron sus discípulos á la mar;

And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,

When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea.

Entrando ellos a una barca, navegaron por el mar hacia Capernaúm. Estaba oscuro a esa hora, y Jesús aún no había llegado a donde ellos.

Y entrando en un barco, venían de la otra parte de la mar hacia Capernaum. Y era ya oscuro, y Jesús no había venido á ellos.

And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.

They entered into the boat, and were going over the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not come to them.

Y soplaba un fuerte viento y el mar se estaba agitando.

Y levantábase la mar con un gran viento que soplaba.

And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

The sea was tossed by a great wind blowing.

Cuando habían remado cerca de cinco o seis kilómetros, ellos vieron a Jesús caminando sobre el mar acercándose a la barca y tuvieron miedo.

Y como hubieron navegado como veinticinco ó treinta estadios, ven á Jesús que andaba sobre la mar, y se acercaba al barco: y tuvieron miedo.

So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were afraid.

Pero Él les dijo: "¡Soy Yo! No tengan miedo."

Mas él les dijo: Yo soy; no tengáis miedo.

But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

But he said to them, “It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

Ellos entonces estuvieron dispuestos a recibirlo en la barca e inmediatamente la barca llegó a la tierra a donde se dirigían.

Ellos entonces gustaron recibirle en el barco: y luego el barco llegó á la tierra donde iban.

Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.

They were willing therefore to receive him into the boat. Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.

Al próximo día, la multitud que había estado al otro lado del mar, vio que no había otra barca allí, excepto una, y que Jesús no había entrado en ella con Sus discípulos, sino que Sus discípulos se habían ido solos.

El día siguiente, la gente que estaba de la otra parte de la mar, como vió que no había allí otra navecilla sino una, y que Jesús no había entrado con sus discípulos en ella, sino que sus discípulos se habían ido solos;

The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;

On the next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except the one in which his disciples had embarked, and that Jesus hadn’t entered with his disciples into the boat, but his disciples had gone away alone.

Sin embargo, había algunas barcas que llegaron desde Tiberias, cerca del lugar donde ellos habían comido el pan, luego de que el Señor había dado gracias.

Y que otras navecillas habían arribado de Tiberias junto al lugar donde habían comido el pan después de haber el Señor dado gracias;

(Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)

However, boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

Cuando la multitud descubrió que ni Jesús ni Sus discípulos estaban allí, ellos mismos entraron a las barcas y fueron a Capernaún buscando a Jesús.

Como vió pues la gente que Jesús no estaba allí, ni sus discípulos, entraron ellos en las navecillas, y vinieron á Capernaum buscando á Jesús.

When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.

When the multitude therefore saw that Jesus wasn’t there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.

Después de haberlo encontrado en el otro lado del mar, ellos Le dijeron: "Rabí, ¿cuándo llegaste aquí?"

Y hallándole de la otra parte de la mar, dijéronle: Rabbí, ¿cuándo llegaste acá?

And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?

When they found him on the other side of the sea, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”

Jesús les contestó, diciendo: "De cierto, de cierto, ustedes me buscan, no porque vieron señales, sino porque comieron de los panes y se saciaron.

Respondióles Jesús, y dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo, que me buscáis, no porque habéis visto las señales, sino porque comisteis el pan y os hartasteis.

Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

No trabajen por la comida que perece, sino por la comida que permanece para vida eterna, la cual el Hijo del Hombre les dará; porque Dios el Padre ha puesto Su sello en Él.

Trabajad no por la comida que perece, mas por la comida que á vida eterna permanece, la cual el Hijo del hombre os dará: porque á éste señaló el Padre, que es Dios.

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”

Entonces ellos Le dijeron: "¿Qué debemos hacer para poder hacer las obras de Dios?"

Y dijéronle: ¿Qué haremos para que obremos las obras de Dios?

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

They said therefore to him, “What must we do, that we may work the works of God?”

Jesús contestó: "Esta es la obra de Dios: que ustedes crean en Aquel a quien Él ha enviado."

Respondió Jesús, y díjoles: Esta es la obra de Dios, que creáis en el que él ha enviado.

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

Así que ellos Le dijeron: "¿Qué señal harás Tú entonces, para que podamos ver y creer en Ti? ¿Qué harás?

Dijéronle entonces: ¿Qué señal pues haces tú, para que veamos, y te creamos? ¿Qué obras?

They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

They said therefore to him, “What then do you do for a sign, that we may see and believe you? What work do you do?

Nuestros padres comieron el maná en el desierto, porque como está escrito: 'DIOS LES DIÓ A COMER PAN DEL CIELO.' "

Nuestros padres comieron el maná en el desierto, como está escrito: Pan del cielo les dió á comer.

Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’”

Luego Jesús les dijo: "De cierto, de cierto os digo, que no fue Moisés quien les dio el pan del cielo, sino que es Mi Padre el que les da el verdadero pan del cielo.

Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo: No os dió Moisés pan del cielo; mas mi Padre os da el verdadero pan del cielo.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

Jesus therefore said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, it wasn’t Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.

Porque el pan de Dios, es el que baja del cielo y da vida al mundo."

Porque el pan de Dios es aquel que descendió del cielo y da vida al mundo.

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”

Así que ellos Le dijeron: "Señor, danos siempre de este pan."

Y dijéronle: Señor, danos siempre este pan.

Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

They said therefore to him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”

Jesús les dijo: "Yo soy el pan de vida; el que a Mí viene no tendrá hambre, y el que en Mí cree nunca tendrá sed jamas.

Y Jesús les dijo: Yo soy el pan de vida: el que á mí viene, nunca tendrá hambre; y el que en mí cree, no tendrá sed jamás.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Pero Yo les dije que ciertamente Me han visto, y no creen.

Mas os he dicho, que aunque me habéis visto, no creéis.

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

But I told you that you have seen me, and yet you don’t believe.

Todo lo que el Padre Me da, vendrá a Mí, y al que viene a Mí, Yo ciertamente no lo echo fuera.

Todo lo que el Padre me da, vendrá á mí; y al que á mí viene, no le hecho fuera.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.

Porque he bajado del cielo, no para hacer Mi propia voluntad, sino la voluntad del que me envió.

Porque he descendido del cielo, no para hacer mi voluntad, mas la voluntad del que me envió.

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

Y ésta es la voluntad del que me envió, que Yo no pierda ni uno de los que Él me ha dado, sino que los resucite en el día final.

Y esta es la voluntad del que me envió, del Padre: Que todo lo que me diere, no pierda de ello, sino que lo resucite en el día postrero.

And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.

Porque ésta es la voluntad de Mi Padre, que todo aquel que ve al Hijo y cree en Él, tendrá vida eterna y Yo lo resucitaré en el día final."

Y esta es la voluntad del que me ha enviado: Que todo aquel que ve al Hijo, y cree en él, tenga vida eterna: y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Entonces los judíos murmuraron de Él porque Él había dicho: "Yo soy el pan que ha bajado del cielo."

Murmuraban entonces de él los Judíos, porque había dicho: Yo soy el pan que descendí del cielo.

The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

The Jews therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, “I am the bread which came down out of heaven.”

Ellos dijeron: "¿No es Éste Jesús, el hijo de José, cuyo padre y madre conocemos? ¿Cómo, entonces, es que Él dice ahora: 'Yo he bajado del cielo'?"

Y decían: ¿No es éste Jesús, el hijo de José, cuyo padre y madre nosotros conocemos? ¿cómo, pues, dice éste: Del cielo he descendido?

And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?

They said, “Isn’t this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, ‘I have come down out of heaven’?”

Jesús contestó: "Dejen de murmurar entre ustedes.

Y Jesús respondió, y díjoles: No murmuréis entre vosotros.

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

Therefore Jesus answered them, “Don’t murmur among yourselves.

Nadie puede venir a Mí a menos que el Padre, Quien Me envió, lo atraiga a Mí, y Yo lo resucitaré en el día final.

Ninguno puede venir á mí, si el Padre que me envió no le trajere; y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up in the last day.

Está escrito en los profetas: 'TODOS SERÁN ENSEÑADOS POR DIOS.' Todos los que hayan escuchado y aprendido del Padre vienen a Mí.

Escrito está en los profetas: Y serán todos enseñados de Dios. Así que, todo aquel que oyó del Padre, y aprendió, viene á mí.

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

It is written in the prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father and has learned, comes to me.

No que alguien haya visto al Padre, excepto Aquél que vino de Dios, Éste ha visto al Padre.

No que alguno haya visto al Padre, sino aquel que vino de Dios, éste ha visto al Padre.

Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from God. He has seen the Father.

De cierto, de cierto os digo, el que cree, tiene vida eterna.

De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que cree en mí, tiene vida eterna.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life.

Yo soy el pan de vida.

I am that bread of life.

I am the bread of life.

Los padres de ustedes comieron el maná en el desierto, y murieron.

Vuestros padres comieron el maná en el desierto, y son muertos.

Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died.

Éste es el pan que baja del cielo, y el que coma de Él, no morirá.

Este es el pan que desciende del cielo, para que el que de él comiere, no muera.

This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.

Yo soy el pan viviente que bajó del cielo. Cualquiera que come de este pan, vivirá para siempre. El pan que Yo les daré, es mi carne por la vida del mundo."

Yo soy el pan vivo que he descendido del cielo: si alguno comiere de este pan, vivirá para siempre; y el pan que yo daré es mi carne, la cual yo daré por la vida del mundo.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

Los judíos se enojaron y discutian entre ellos, diciendo: "¿Cómo puede este hombre darnos de Su carne para comer?"

Entonces los Judíos contendían entre sí, diciendo: ¿Cómo puede éste darnos su carne á comer?

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

The Jews therefore contended with one another, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”

Entonces Jesús les dijo: "De cierto, de cierto les digo, a menos que coman la carne del Hijo del Hombre y beban Su sangre, ustedes no tendrán vida en ustedes mismos.

Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo: Si no comiereis la carne del Hijo del hombre, y bebiereis su sangre, no tendréis vida en vosotros.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Jesus therefore said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don’t have life in yourselves.

El que come Mi carne y bebe Mi sangre, tiene vida eterna; y Yo lo resucitaré en el día final.

El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre, tiene vida eterna: y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Porque Mi carne es verdadera comida, y Mi sangre es verdadera bebida.

Porque mi carne es verdadera comida, y mi sangre es verdadera bebida.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

El come Mi carne y bebe Mi sangre permanece en Mí, y Yo en Él.

El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre, en mí permanece, y yo en él.

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.

Así como el Padre que da vida Me envió y así como vivo por causa de Mi Padre; así también aquel que come de mi, vivirá también por Mí.

Como me envió el Padre viviente, y yo vivo por el Padre, asimismo el que me come, él también vivirá por mí.

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.

Éste es el pan que ha bajado del cielo, no como el que los padres comieron, y murieron. Quien coma este pan vivirá para siempre."

Este es el pan que descendió del cielo: no como vuestros padres comieron el maná, y son muertos: el que come de este pan, vivirá eternamente.

This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

This is the bread which came down out of heaven—not as our fathers ate the manna and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

Esto dijo Jesús en la sinagoga, mientras enseñaba en Capernaúm.

Estas cosas dijo en la sinagoga, enseñando en Capernaum.

These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

He said these things in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

Entonces muchos de Sus discípulos que oyeron esto, dijeron: "Ésta es una enseñanza difícil; ¿quién puede aceptarla?"

Y muchos de sus discípulos oyéndolo, dijeron: Dura es esta palabra: ¿quién la puede oir?

Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?”

Porque Jesús mismo sabía que Sus discípulos estaban murmurando de esto, les dijo a ellos: "¿Esto los ofende?

Y sabiendo Jesús en sí mismo que sus discípulos murmuraban de esto, díjoles: ¿Esto os escandaliza?

When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

But Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble?

Entonces, ¿si vieran al Hijo del Hombre subiendo a donde estaba antes?

¿Pues qué, si viereis al Hijo del hombre que sube donde estaba primero?

What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?

Es el Espíritu Quien da vida; la carne nada beneficia. Las palabras que les he hablado son espíritu, y son vida.

El espíritu es el que da vida; la carne nada aprovecha: las palabras que yo os he hablado, son espíritu, y son vida.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Sin embargo, hay algunos de ustedes que no creen." Porque Jesús sabía desde el principio quiénes eran los que no creían, y quién era el que Lo traicionaría.

Mas hay algunos de vosotros que no creen. Porque Jesús desde el principio sabía quiénes eran los que no creían, y quién le había de entregar.

But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

But there are some of you who don’t believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who didn’t believe, and who it was who would betray him.

Él dijo: "Es debido a esto que les dije que nadie puede venir a Mí, a menos que le sea dado por el Padre."

Y dijo: Por eso os he dicho que ninguno puede venir á mí, si no le fuere dado del Padre.

And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

He said, “For this cause I have said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by my Father.”

A causa de esto, muchos de Sus discípulos se fueron y ya no caminaban con Él.

Desde esto, muchos de sus discípulos volvieron atrás, y ya no andaban con él.

From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

At this, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.

Jesús entonces les dijo a los doce: "¿Quieren irse ustedes también?"

Dijo entonces Jesús á los doce: ¿Queréis vosotros iros también?

Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

Jesus said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?”

Simón Pedro Le contestó: "Señor, ¿a quién iremos? Tú tienes palabras de vida eterna,

Y respondióle Simón Pedro: Señor, ¿á quién iremos? tú tienes palabras de vida eterna.

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.

y hemos creído y sabemos que Tú eres el Santo de Dios."

Y nosotros creemos y conocemos que tú eres el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios viviente.

And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jesús les dijo: "¿No los escogí Yo a ustedes, los doce, y uno de ustedes es un siervo de Satanás?"

Jesús le respondió: ¿No he escogido yo á vosotros doce, y uno de vosotros es diablo?

Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Jesus answered them, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”

Ahora Él hablaba de Judas, el hijo de Simón Iscariote, porque era él, uno de los doce, quien traicionaría a Jesús.

Y hablaba de Judas Iscariote, hijo de Simón, porque éste era el que le había de entregar, el cual era uno de los doce.

He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

Now he spoke of Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, for it was he who would betray him, being one of the twelve.
