Dopo di ciò manifestossi di nuovo Gesù a' discepoli al mare di Tiberiade. E si manifestò in questo modo:

DESPUÉS se manifestó Jesús otra vez á sus discípulos en la mar de Tiberias; y manifestóse de esta manera.

After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.

After these things, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. He revealed himself this way.

Erano insieme Simon Pietro, e Tommaso soprannominato Didimo, e Natanaele, il quale era di Cana della Galilea, ed i figliuoli di Zebedeo, e due altri de' suoi discepoli.

Estaban juntos Simón Pedro, y Tomás, llamado el Dídimo, y Natanael, el que era de Caná de Galilea, y los hijos de Zebedeo, y otros dos de sus discípulos.

There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

Disse loro Simon Pietro: vo a pescare. Gli risposero: venghiamo anche noi teco. Partirono, ed entrarono in una barca: e quella notte non presero nulla.

Díceles Simón: A pescar voy. Dícenle: Vamos nosotros también contigo. Fueron, y subieron en una barca; y aquella noche no cogieron nada.

Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

Simon Peter said to them, “I’m going fishing.” They told him, “We are also coming with you.” They immediately went out and entered into the boat. That night, they caught nothing.

E fattosi giorno Gesù si pose sul lido: i discepoli però non conobbero, che fosse Gesù.

Y venida la mañana, Jesús se puso á la ribera: mas los discípulos no entendieron que era Jesús.

But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

But when day had already come, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples didn’t know that it was Jesus.

Disse adunque loro Gesù: figliuoli, avete voi companatico? Gli risposer di no.

Y díjoles: Mozos, ¿tenéis algo de comer? Respondiéronle: No.

Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

Jesus therefore said to them, “Children, have you anything to eat?” They answered him, “No.”

Ed egli disse loro; gettate la rete dalla parte destra della barca, e troverete. La gettarono adunque; e non potevano più tirarla a causa della gran quantità di pesci.

Y él les dice: Echad la red á la mano derecha del barco, y hallaréis. Entonces la echaron, y no la podían en ninguna manera sacar, por la multitud de los peces.

And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” They cast it therefore, and now they weren’t able to draw it in for the multitude of fish.

Disse perciò a Pietro quel discepolo amato da Gesù: egli è il Signore. E Simon Pietro sentito, che è il Signore, si mise la tonaca (imperocché egli era nudo), e gittossi nel mare.

Entonces aquel discípulo, al cual amaba Jesús, dijo á Pedro: El Señor es. Y Simón Pedro, como oyó que era el Señor, ciñóse la ropa, porque estaba desnudo, y echóse á la mar.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat around himself (for he was naked), and threw himself into the sea.

E gli altri discepoli si avanzarono colla barca (imperocché non erano lungi da terra, ma circa a dugento cubiti), e tiravan la rete co' pesci.

Y los otros discípulos vinieron con el barco (porque no estaban lejos de tierra sino como doscientos codos), trayendo la red de peces.

And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.

But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away), dragging the net full of fish.

E quando furon a terra, videro preparato il carbone (sul qual era stato messo del pesce), e del pane.

Y como descendieron á tierra, vieron ascuas puestas, y un pez encima de ellas, y pan.

As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

So when they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals there, with fish and bread laid on it.

Disse loro Gesù: date qua de' pesci, che avete presi adesso.

Díceles Jesús: Traed de los peces que cogisteis ahora.

Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.

Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.”

Andò Simon Pietro, e tirò a terra la rete piena di cento cinquantatre grossi pesci. E sebbene erano tanti, la rete non si strappò.

Subió Simón Pedro, y trajo la red á tierra, llena de grandes peces, ciento cincuenta y tres: y siendo tantos, la red no se rompió.

Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land, full of one hundred fifty-three great fish. Even though there were so many, the net wasn’t torn.

Disse loro Gesù: su via desinate. Nissuno però de' discepoli ebbe ardire di domandargli: chi sei tu? sapendo che era il Signore.

Díceles Jesús: Venid, comed. Y ninguno de los discípulos osaba preguntarle: ¿Tú, quién eres? sabiendo que era el Señor.

Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast!” None of the disciples dared inquire of him, “Who are you?” knowing that it was the Lord.

Si appressa dunque Gesù, e prende del pane: e lo distribuisce ad essi, e similmente il pesce.

Viene pues Jesús, y toma el pan, y les da; y asimismo del pez.

Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.

Then Jesus came and took the bread, gave it to them, and the fish likewise.

Così già per la terza volta si manifestò Gesù a' suoi discepoli, risuscitato che fu da morte.

Esta era ya la tercera vez que Jesús se manifestó á sus discípulos, habiendo resucitado de los muertos.

This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

This is now the third time that Jesus was revealed to his disciples after he had risen from the dead.

E quando ebber pranzato, disse Gesù a Simon Pietro: Simone, figliuolo di Giovanni, mi ami tu più, che questi? Gli disse: certamente, Signore, tu sai, che io ti amo. Dissegli: pasci i miei agnelli.

Y cuando hubieron comido, Jesús dijo á Simón Pedro: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas más que éstos? Dícele: Sí, Señor: tú sabes que te amo. Dícele: Apacienta mis corderos.

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

So when they had eaten their breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.”

Dissegli di nuovo per la seconda volta: Simone, figliuolo di Giovanni, mi ami tu? Ei gli disse: certamente, Signore, tu sai, che io ti amo. Dissegli: pasci i miei agnelli.

Vuélvele á decir la segunda vez: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas? Respóndele: Sí, Señor: tú sabes que te amo. Dícele: Apacienta mis ovejas.

He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.”

Gli disse per la terza volta: Simone, figliuolo di Giovanni, mi ami tu? Si contristò Pietro, perché per la terza volta gli avesse detto, mi ami tu? E dissegli: Signore, tu sai il tutto. Tu conosci, che io t'amo. Gesù dissegli: pasci le mie pecorelle.

Dícele la tercera vez: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas? Entristecióse Pedro de que le dijese la tercera vez: ¿Me amas? y dícele: Señor, tú sabes todas las cosas; tú sabes que te amo. Dícele Jesús: Apacienta mis ovejas.

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you have affection for me?” Peter was grieved because he asked him the third time, “Do you have affection for me?” He said to him, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I have affection for you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.

In verità, in verità ti dico: quando eri giovane, ti cingevi la veste, e andavi dove ti pareva; ma quando sarai invecchiato, stenderai le tue mani, e un altro ti cingerà, e ti menerà, dove non vuoi.

De cierto, de cierto te digo: Cuando eras más mozo, te ceñías, é ibas donde querías; mas cuando ya fueres viejo, extenderás tus manos, y te ceñirá otro, y te llevará á donde no quieras.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

Most certainly I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself and walked where you wanted to. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you don’t want to go.”

Or questo lo disse, indicando con qual morte fosse per glorificare Dio. E dopo di ciò gli disse: seguimi.

Y esto dijo, dando á entender con qué muerte había de glorificar á Dios. Y dicho esto, dícele: Sígueme.

This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

Now he said this, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. When he had said this, he said to him, “Follow me.”

Pietro voltatosi indietro vide, che gli andava appresso quel discepolo amato da Gesù (il quale anche nella cena posò sul petto di lui, e disse: Signore, chi è colui, che ti tradirà?)

Volviéndose Pedro, ve á aquel discípulo al cual amaba Jesús, que seguía, el que también se había recostado á su pecho en la cena, y le había dicho: Señor, ¿quién es el que te ha de entregar?

Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?

Then Peter, turning around, saw a disciple following. This was the disciple whom Jesus loved, the one who had also leaned on Jesus’ chest at the supper and asked, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”

Pietro adunque avendolo veduto, disse a Gesù: Signore, e di questo che sarà?

Así que Pedro vió á éste, dice á Jesús: Señor, ¿y éste, qué?

Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?”

Dissegli Gesù: se io vorrò che questi rimanga sino a tanto che venga io, che importa a te? Tu seguimi,

Dícele Jesús: Si quiero que él quede hasta que yo venga, ¿qué á tí? Sígueme tú.

Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

Jesus said to him, “If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you? You follow me.”

Si sparse perciò questa voce tra i fratelli, che quel discepolo non muore. E Gesù non disse: ei non muore: ma: se voglio, che egli rimanga sino a tanto che io venga, che importa a te?

Salió entonces este dicho entre los hermanos, que aquel discípulo no había de morir. Mas Jesús no le dijo, No morirá; sino: Si quiero que él quede hasta que yo venga ¿qué á ti?

Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

This saying therefore went out among the brothers that this disciple wouldn’t die. Yet Jesus didn’t say to him that he wouldn’t die, but, “If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you?”

Questo è quel discepolo, che attesta queste cose, e le ha scritte: e sappiamo, che è veridica la sua testimonianza.

Este es aquel discípulo que da testimonio de estas cosas, y escribió estas cosas: y sabemos que su testimonio es verdadero.

This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

This is the disciple who testifies about these things, and wrote these things. We know that his witness is true.

Sono molte altre cose fatte di Gesù: le quali se si scrivessero a una a una, credo, che nemmen tutta la terra capir potrebbe i libri, che sarebber da scriverne. Gesù promette agli Apostoli lo Spirito santo. Dice non esser cosa da loro il sapere gli ascosi tempi delle cose future. Asceso ch'egli è al cielo, gli Angeli dicono, che egli nella stessa guisa verrà. Nomi degli Apostoli. Ragionamento di Pietro intorno al sostituir un Apostolo in luogo del traditore. Premessa l'orazione è eletto a sorte Mattia.

Y hay también otras muchas cosas que hizo Jesús, que si se escribiesen cada una por sí, ni aun en el mundo pienso que cabrían los libros que se habrían de escribir. Amén.

And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
