Es war schon spät an diesem ersten Wochentag. Die Jünger hatten an dem Ort, wo sie versammelt waren, aus Furcht vor den Juden die Türen fest verschlossen. Da kam Jesus, er trat mitten unter sie und sprach: "Friede sei mit euch!"
Y como fué tarde aquel día, el primero de la semana, y estando las puertas cerradas donde los discípulos estaban juntos por miedo de los Judíos, vino Jesús, y púsose en medio, y díjoles: Paz á vosotros.
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
When therefore it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were locked where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the middle and said to them, “Peace be to you.”
