Después que Jesús dijo estas palabras, Él salió con Sus discípulos al otro lado del valle de Cedrón, donde había un huerto al cual Él y Sus discípulos entraron.

COMO Jesús hubo dicho estas cosas, salióse con sus discípulos tras el arroyo de Cedrón, donde estaba un huerto, en el cual entró Jesús y sus discípulos.

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples over the brook Kidron, where there was a garden, into which he and his disciples entered.

Ahora Judas, quien iba a traicionarlo, también conocía el lugar, ya que Jesús a menudo iba allí con Sus discípulos.

Y también Judas, el que le entregaba, sabía aquel lugar; porque muchas veces Jesús se juntaba allí con sus discípulos.

And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.

Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples.

Entonces Judas, habiendo recibido un grupo de soldados de los sacerdotes principales y de los fariseos, y oficiales, llegaron allí con linternas, antorchas y armas.

Judas pues tomando una compañía, y ministros de los pontífices y de los Fariseos, vino allí con linternas y antorchas, y con armas.

Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.

Judas then, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.

Entonces Jesús, que sabía todas las cosas que le estaban sucediendo, fue adelante y les preguntó: "¿A quién están buscando?"

Empero Jesús, sabiendo todas las cosas que habían de venir sobre él, salió delante, y díjoles: ¿A quién buscáis?

Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?

Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were happening to him, went out and said to them, “Who are you looking for?”

Ellos le contestaron: "Jesús de Nazaret." Jesús les dijo: "Yo Soy." Judas, quien lo traicionó, estaba también parado con los soldados.

Respondiéronle: A Jesús Nazareno. Díceles Jesús: Yo soy. (Y estaba también con ellos Judas, el que le entregaba.)

They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.

They answered him, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I am he.” Judas also, who betrayed him, was standing with them.

Así que cuando Él les dijo: "Yo Soy," ellos retrocedieron y cayeron a la tierra.

Y como les dijo, Yo soy, volvieron atrás, y cayeron en tierra.

As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

When therefore he said to them, “I am he,” they went backward and fell to the ground.

Entonces Él volvió a preguntarles: "¿A quién están buscando?" Ellos volvieron a responder, "Jesús de Nazaret."

Volvióles, pues, á preguntar: ¿A quién buscáis? Y ellos dijeron: A Jesús Nazareno.

Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.

Again therefore he asked them, “Who are you looking for?” They said, “Jesus of Nazareth.”

Jesús contestó: "Yo les dije que Yo Soy. Así que si me están buscando a Mí, dejen ir a éstos."

Respondió Jesús: Os he dicho que yo soy: pues si á mí buscáis, dejad ir á éstos.

Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:

Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way,”

Esto fue para que se cumpliera la palabra que Él dijo: "DE AQUELLOS QUE ME DISTE, NO PERDÍ NINGUNO."

Para que se cumpliese la palabra que había dicho: De los que me diste, ninguno de ellos perdí.

That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

that the word might be fulfilled which he spoke, “Of those whom you have given me, I have lost none.”

Entonces Simón Pedro, quien tenía una espada, la sacó y golpeó al sirviente del sumo sacerdote y cortó su oreja derecha. El nombre del sirviente era Malco.

Entonces Simón Pedro, que tenía espada, sacóla, é hirió al siervo del pontífice, y le cortó la oreja derecha. Y el siervo se llamaba Malco.

Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.

Simon Peter therefore, having a sword, drew it, struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.

Jesús le dijo a Pedro: "Pon la espada de vuelta en su funda. ¿Acaso no he de beber la copa que el Padre Me ha dado?"

Jesús entonces dijo á Pedro: Mete tu espada en la vaina: el vaso que el Padre me ha dado, ¿no lo tengo de beber?

Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

Jesus therefore said to Peter, “Put the sword into its sheath. The cup which the Father has given me, shall I not surely drink it?”

Así que el grupo de soldados y el capitán, y los oficiales de los judíos, agarraron a Jesús y lo ataron.

Entonces la compañía y el tribuno, y los ministros de los Judíos, prendieron á Jesús y le ataron,

Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him,

So the detachment, the commanding officer, and the officers of the Jews seized Jesus and bound him,

Ellos lo llevaron primero a Anás, quien era el suegro de Caifás, quien era el sumo sacerdote ese año.

Y lleváronle primeramente á Anás; porque era suegro de Caifás, el cual era pontífice de aquel año.

And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.

and led him to Annas first, for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.

Ahora Caifás era quien había dado el consejo a los judíos que era mejor que un hombre muriera por el pueblo.

Y era Caifás el que había dado el consejo á los Judíos, que era necesario que un hombre muriese por el pueblo.

Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.

Now it was Caiaphas who advised the Jews that it was expedient that one man should perish for the people.

Simón Pedro siguió a Jesús, al igual que otro discípulo. Ahora ese discípulo era conocido del sumo sacerdote, y él entró con Jesús a la corte del sumo sacerdote;

Y seguía á Jesús Simón Pedro, y otro discípulo. Y aquel discípulo era conocido del pontífice, y entró con Jesús al atrio del pontífice;

And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.

Simon Peter followed Jesus, as did another disciple. Now that disciple was known to the high priest, and entered in with Jesus into the court of the high priest;

pero Pedro estaba parado a la puerta afuera. Así que el otro discípulo, quien era conocido por el sumo sacerdote, salió y habló a la portera y él entró a Pedro.

Mas Pedro estaba fuera á la puerta. Y salió aquel discípulo que era conocido del pontífice, y habló á la portera, y metió dentro á Pedro.

But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.

but Peter was standing at the door outside. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to her who kept the door, and brought in Peter.

Entonces la sierva, la portera, dijo a Pedro: "¿No eres tú también uno de los discípulos de este hombre?" Él dijo: "No lo soy."

Entonces la criada portera dijo á Pedro: ¿No eres tú también de los discípulos de este hombre? Dice él: No soy.

Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man’s disciples? He saith, I am not.

Then the maid who kept the door said to Peter, “Are you also one of this man’s disciples?” He said, “I am not.”

Ahora los siervos y los guardias estaban parados allí; y ellos habían hecho un fuego de carbón, porque estaba frío, y ellos se estaban calentando. Pedro también estaba con ellos, parado y calentándose.

Y estaban en pie los siervos y los ministros que habían allegado las ascuas; porque hacía frío, y calentábanse: y estaba también con ellos Pedro en pie, calentándose.

And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.

Now the servants and the officers were standing there, having made a fire of coals, for it was cold. They were warming themselves. Peter was with them, standing and warming himself.

El sumo sacerdote entonces preguntó a Jesús acerca de Sus discípulos y sus enseñanzas.

Y el pontífice preguntó á Jesús acerca de sus discípulos y de su doctrina.

The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.

The high priest therefore asked Jesus about his disciples and about his teaching.

Jesús le contestó: " Yo he hablado abiertamente al mundo. Yo siempre he enseñado en sinagogas y en el templo donde todos los judíos se reúnen. No he dicho nada en secreto.

Jesús le respondió: Yo manifiestamente he hablado al mundo: yo siempre he enseñado en la sinagoga y en el templo, donde se juntan todos los Judíos, y nada he hablado en oculto.

Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

Jesus answered him, “I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet. I said nothing in secret.

¿Por qué Me preguntas? Pregúntale a aquellos que me han escuchado sobre lo que dije. Mire, esas personas saben las cosas que dije."

¿Qué me preguntas á mí? Pregunta á los que han oído, qué les haya yo hablado: he aquí, ésos saben lo que yo he dicho.

Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.

Why do you ask me? Ask those who have heard me what I said to them. Behold, they know the things which I said.”

Cuando Jesús había dicho esto, uno de los oficiales parado allí golpeó a Jesús y dijo: "¿Es así cómo contestas al sumo sacerdote?"

Y como él hubo dicho esto, uno de los criados que estaba allí, dió una bofetada á Jesús, diciendo: ¿Así respondes al pontífice?

And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?

When he had said this, one of the officers standing by slapped Jesus with his hand, saying, “Do you answer the high priest like that?”

Jesús le contestó: "Si Yo hablé incorrectamente, da testimonio de lo incorrecto, pero si hablé correctamente, ¿por qué me golpeas?"

Respondióle Jesús: Si he hablado mal, da testimonio del mal: y si bien, ¿por qué me hieres?

Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?

Jesus answered him, “If I have spoken evil, testify of the evil; but if well, why do you beat me?”

Anás entonces envió a Jesús atado a Caifás el sumo sacerdote.

Y Anás le había enviado atado á Caifás pontífice.

Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas, the high priest.

Ahora Simón Pedro estaba parado y calentándose. Las personas entonces le dijeron: "¿No eres tú también uno de sus discípulos?" Él lo negó y dijo: "Yo no lo soy."

Estaba pues Pedro en pie calentándose. Y dijéronle: ¿No eres tú de sus discípulos? El negó, y dijo: No soy.

And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said therefore to him, “You aren’t also one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it and said, “I am not.”

Uno de los sirvientes del sumo sacerdote, quien era un pariente del hombre al que Pedro le había cortado la oreja, dijo: "¿No te vi yo en el huerto con Él?"

Uno de los siervos del pontífice, pariente de aquél á quien Pedro había cortado la oreja, le dice: ¿No te vi yo en el huerto con él?

One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?

One of the servants of the high priest, being a relative of him whose ear Peter had cut off, said, “Didn’t I see you in the garden with him?”

Pedro entonces lo volvió a negar e inmediatamente el gallo cantó.

Y negó Pedro otra vez: y luego el gallo cantó.

Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.

Peter therefore denied it again, and immediately the rooster crowed.

Entonces ellos llevaron a Jesús desde Caifás al cuartel del gobierno. Era temprano en la mañana, y ellos mismos no entraron al palacio del gobernador para que ellos no se contaminaran y pudieran comer la Pascua.

Y llevaron á Jesús de Caifás al pretorio: y era por la mañana: y ellos no entraron en el pretorio por no ser contaminados, sino que comiesen la pascua.

Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

They led Jesus therefore from Caiaphas into the Praetorium. It was early, and they themselves didn’t enter into the Praetorium, that they might not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.

Entonces Pilato salió hasta donde ellos y dijo: "¿Qué acusación están trayendo ustedes contra este hombre?"

Entonces salió Pilato á ellos fuera, y dijo: ¿Qué acusación traéis contra este hombre?

Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man?

Pilate therefore went out to them and said, “What accusation do you bring against this man?”

Ellos le respondieron y le dijeron: "Si este hombre no fuera malhechor, nosotros no te lo habríamos entregado."

Respondieron y dijéronle: Si éste no fuera malhechor, no te le habríamos entregado.

They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee.

They answered him, “If this man weren’t an evildoer, we wouldn’t have delivered him up to you.”

Pilato entonces les dijo: "Llévenlo ustedes, y júzguenlo de acuerdo a su ley." Los judíos le dijeron: "No nos es permitido dar muerte a ningún hombre."

Díceles entonces Pilato: Tomadle vosotros, y juzgadle según vuestra ley. Y los Judíos le dijeron: A nosotros no es lícito matar á nadie:

Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death:

Pilate therefore said to them, “Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law.” Therefore the Jews said to him, “It is illegal for us to put anyone to death,”

Ellos dijeron esto para que la palabra de Jesús fuera cumplida, la palabra que Él había dicho que indicaba la clase de muerte que iba a morir.

Para que se cumpliese el dicho de Jesús, que había dicho, dando á entender de qué muerte había de morir.

That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.

that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spoke, signifying by what kind of death he should die.

Entonces Pilato entró al cuartel del gobierno de nuevo y llamó a Jesús y le dijo a Él: "¿Eres Tú el Rey de los Judíos?"

Así que, Pilato volvió á entrar en el pretorio, y llamó á Jesús, y díjole: ¿Eres tú el Rey de los Judíos?

Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?

Pilate therefore entered again into the Praetorium, called Jesus, and said to him, “Are you the King of the Jews?”

Jesús le contestó: "¿Hablas por ti mismo, u otros te hablaron acerca de Mí?"

Respondióle Jesús: ¿Dices tú esto de ti mismo, ó te lo han dicho otros de mí?

Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?

Jesus answered him, “Do you say this by yourself, or did others tell you about me?”

Pilato respondió: "No soy un judío, ¿o sí? Tu propia nación y el jefe de los sacerdotes te han entregado a mí. ¿Qué has hecho?"

Pilato respondió: ¿Soy yo Judío? Tu gente, y los pontífices, te han entregado á mí: ¿qué has hecho?

Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?

Pilate answered, “I’m not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered you to me. What have you done?”

Jesús contestó: "Mi reino no es de este mundo. Si Mi reino fuera parte de este mundo, entonces mis siervos pelearían para que Yo no fuera entregado a los judíos. Pero ahora Mi reino no viene de aquí."

Respondió Jesús: Mi reino no es de este mundo: si de este mundo fuera mi reino, mis servidores pelearían para que yo no fuera entregado á los Judíos: ahora, pues, mi reino no es de aquí.

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn’t be delivered to the Jews. But now my Kingdom is not from here.”

Pilato entonces le dijo a Él: "¿Entonces, eres Tú un rey? Jesús contestó: "Tú dices que Yo soy rey. Para este propósito he nacido Yo, y por este propósito he venido a este mundo para poder dar testimonio de la verdad. Todo aquel que pertenece a la verdad escucha Mi voz."

Díjole entonces Pilato: ¿Luego rey eres tú? Respondió Jesús: Tú dices que yo soy rey. Yo para esto he nacido, y para esto he venido al mundo, para dar testimonio á la verdad. Todo aquél que es de la verdad, oye mi voz.

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Pilate therefore said to him, “Are you a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this reason I have been born, and for this reason I have come into the world, that I should testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”

Pilato le dijo a Él: "¿Qué es la verdad?" Cuando dijo esto, él salió otra vez a los judíos y les dijo: "No encuentro ningún delito en este hombre.

Dícele Pilato: ¿Qué cosa es verdad? Y como hubo dicho esto, salió otra vez á los Judíos, y díceles: Yo no hallo en él ningún crimen.

Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” When he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, “I find no basis for a charge against him.

Ustedes tienen la costumbre de que les suelte a un hombre en la Pascua. Así que, ¿quieren que les suelte a ustedes al Rey de los judíos?"

Empero vosotros tenéis costumbre, que os suelte uno en la Pascua: ¿queréis, pues, que os suelte al Rey de los Judíos?

But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

But you have a custom that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Therefore, do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”

Entonces ellos gritaron y dijeron: "No a éste hombre, sino a Barrabás." Ahora Barrabás era un ladrón.

Entonces todos dieron voces otra vez, diciendo: No á éste, sino á Barrabás. Y Barrabás era ladrón.

Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.

Then they all shouted again, saying, “Not this man, but Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was a robber.
