Horch! von Zion her hört man Klage: "Wie sind wir verwüstet! wie sind wir mit Schmach bedeckt! denn wir müssen das Land verlassen, unsre Wohnstätten sind zerstört!"

Porque voz de endecha fué oída de Sión: ¡Cómo hemos sido destruídos! en gran manera hemos sido confundidos. ¿Por qué dejamos la tierra? ¿por qué nos han echado de sí nuestras moradas?

For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.
