Jeremías 9

Imperocché voce di lamentazione si ode da Sion: Fino a qual segno siam noi disertati, e confusi altamente? Imperocché abbiam lasciata la nostra terra, le nostre abitazioni son diroccate.

Porque voz de endecha fué oída de Sión: ¡Cómo hemos sido destruídos! en gran manera hemos sido confundidos. ¿Por qué dejamos la tierra? ¿por qué nos han echado de sí nuestras moradas?

For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.
