E farò, che non si oda nelle città di Giuda, e nelle piazze di Gerusalemme voce di gaudio, e di allegrezza, voce di sposo, e di sposa; perocché sarà in desolazione tutta la terra. I regi, i principi, i sacerdoti, e i profeti, e tutto il popolo, perchè hanno abbracciata l'idolatria, e senza riflettere ai giudizj di Dio, hanno abbandonata la verità, e non pensano ad altro, che alla avarizia, e ai loro idoli, e non vogliono convertirsi, saranno straziati da nemici sommamente crudeli.
Y haré cesar de las ciudades de Judá, y de la calles de Jerusalem, voz de gozo y voz de alegría, voz de esposo y voz de esposa; porque la tierra será en desolación.
Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.
Then I will cause to cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride; for the land will become a waste.”
