Osservai, e non eravi più un uomo: e tutti gli uccelli dell'aria se ne son' iti.

Miré, y no parecía hombre, y todas las aves del cielo se habían ido.

I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
