ACERCA de Moab. Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: ¡Ay de Nebo! que fué destruída, fué avergonzada; Chîriathaim fué tomada; fué confusa Misgab, y desmayó.

For in the going up of Luhith continual weeping shall go up; for in the going down of Horonaim the enemies have heard a cry of destruction.

Thou daughter that dost inhabit Dibon, come down from thy glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab shall come upon thee, and he shall destroy thy strong holds.

Car Israël n'a-t-il pas été pour toi un objet de dérision ? A-t-il été surpris parmi des voleurs ? Car chaque fois que tu parles de lui, tu hoches la tête.
¿Y no te fué á ti Israel por escarnio, como si lo tomaran entre ladrones? porque desde que de él hablaste, tú te has movido.
For was not Israel a derision unto thee? was he found among thieves? for since thou spakest of him, thou skippedst for joy.
For wasn’t Israel a derision to you? Was he found among thieves? For as often as you speak of him, you shake your head.
Vous, habitants de Moab, quittez les villes, et habitez dans les rochers. Soyez comme la colombe qui fait son nid sur les bords du précipice.

Con lloro de Jazer lloraré por ti, oh vid de Sibma: tus sarmientos pasaron la mar, llegaron hasta la mar de Jazer: sobre tu agosto y sobre tu vendimia vino destruidor.
O vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee with the weeping of Jazer: thy plants are gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage.
With more than the weeping of Jazer I will weep for you, vine of Sibmah. Your branches passed over the sea. They reached even to the sea of Jazer. The destroyer has fallen on your summer fruits and on your vintage.
L'allégresse et la joie sont ôtées des vergers et du pays de Moab. J'ai fait tarir le vin dans les pressoirs. Personne ne les foulera avec des cris de joie. Les cris de joie ne seront plus des cris de joie.

Sobre todas las techumbres de Moab y en sus calles, todo él será llanto; porque yo quebranté á Moab como á vaso que no agrada, dice Jehová.
There shall be lamentation generally upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof: for I have broken Moab like a vessel wherein is no pleasure, saith the LORD.

Car ainsi parle le SEIGNEUR : « Voici, il volera comme un aigle, et il déploiera ses ailes contre Moab.

Terror, the pit, and the snare are on you, inhabitant of Moab,” says the LORD.
« Celui qui fuit devant la terreur tombera dans la fosse ; et celui qui remonte de la fosse sera pris dans le filet, car je ferai venir sur lui, sur Moab, l'année de leur châtiment », dit le SEIGNEUR.
El que huyere del miedo, caerá en el hoyo; y el que saliere del hoyo, será preso del lazo: porque yo traeré sobre él, sobre Moab, año de su visitación, dice Jehová.
He that fleeth from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that getteth up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
“He who flees from the terror will fall into the pit; and he who gets up out of the pit will be taken in the snare, for I will bring on him, even on Moab, the year of their visitation,” says the LORD.

They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.
