Porque nosotros ciertamente haremos todas las cosas que decimos que haremos--quemarle incienso a la reina del cielo y derramar ofrendas de bebidas a ella tal como nosotros, nuestros ancestros, nuestros reyes y nuestros líderes hicieron en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalén. Entonces nosotros nos llenaremos de comida y prospéraremos, sin experimentar ningún desastre.
Antes pondremos ciertamente por obra toda palabra que ha salido de nuestra boca, para ofrecer sahumerios á la reina del cielo, y derramándole libaciones, como hemos hecho nosotros y nuestros padres, nuestros reyes y nuestros príncipes, en las ciudades de Judá y en las plazas de Jerusalem, y fuimos hartos de pan, y estuvimos alegres, y no vimos mal alguno.
But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.
