14y le dijeron: “¿No sabes acaso que Baalís, rey de los hijos de Ammón, ha enviado a Ismael, hijo de Natanías, para quitarte la vida?” Pero Godolías, hijo de Ahicam, no les dio crédito.

14Y dijéronle: ¿No sabes de cierto como Baalis, rey de los hijos de Ammón, ha enviado á Ismael hijo de Nethanías, para matarte? Mas Gedalías hijo de Ahicam no los creyó.

14And said unto him, Dost thou certainly know that Baalis the king of the Ammonites hath sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to slay thee? But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam believed them not.
World English Bible
14and said to him, “Do you know that Baalis the king of the children of Ammon has sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to take your life?” But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam didn’t believe them.
