"Si un hombre se divorcia de su esposa y ella se aleja de él y se convierte en la esposa de otro hombre, ¿regresará él a ella otra vez? ¿No sería eso una tierra contaminada grandemente? Tú has vivido como una prostituta con muchos amantes; ¿y regresarás a Mí? --esta es la declaración del SEÑOR.
DICEN: Si alguno dejare su mujer, y yéndose ésta de él se juntare á otro hombre, ¿volverá á ella más? ¿no será tal tierra del todo amancillada? Tú pues has fornicado con muchos amigos; mas vuélvete á mí, dijo Jehová.
They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.
“They say, ‘If a man puts away his wife, and she goes from him, and becomes another man’s, should he return to her again?’ Wouldn’t that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the prostitute with many lovers; yet return again to me,” says the LORD.
¡Alza tus ojos a las alturas vacías y mira! ¿Hay algún lugar en dónde no hayas tenido sexo ilícito? Al lado de los caminos te sentaste a esperar a tus amantes, como un árabe en el desierto. Tú has contaminado la tierra con tu prostitución y malicia.
Alza tus ojos á los altos, y ve en qué lugar no te hayas publicado: para ellos te sentabas en los caminos, como Arabe en el desierto; y con tus fornicaciones y con tu malicia has contaminado la tierra.
Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
“Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see! Where have you not been lain with? You have sat waiting for them by the road, as an Arabian in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your prostitution and with your wickedness.
Así, las lluvias de primavera fueron detenidas y las lluvias tardías no llegaron. Pero tu rostro es arrogante, como el rostro de una mujer promiscua. Tú te rehúsas a sentir vergüenza.
Por esta causa las aguas han sido detenidas, y faltó la lluvia de la tarde; y has tenido frente de mala mujer, ni quisiste tener vergüenza.
Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore’s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

¿Acaso no acabas de llamarme a Mí: '¡Mi Padre! ¡Mi Amigo más cercano, aún desde mi juventud! ¿Estará Él siempre molesto?
A lo menos desde ahora, ¿no clamarás á mí, Padre mío, guiador de mi juventud?
Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth?
Will you not from this time cry to me, ‘My Father, you are the guide of my youth!’?
¿Acaso mantendrá Su furia por siempre hasta el final?' ¡Mira! Esto es lo que tú has dicho, pero tú haces todo el mal que puedes hacer!"
¿Guardará su enojo para siempre? ¿eternalmente lo guardará? He aquí que has hablado y hecho cuantas maldades pudiste.
Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.
“‘Will he retain his anger forever? Will he keep it to the end?’ Behold, you have spoken and have done evil things, and have had your way.”
Entonces, el SEÑOR me dijo a mí en los días de Josías el rey: "¿Has visto lo que la infiel de Israel ha hecho? Ella ha subido a cada colina alta y bajo cada árbol frondoso, y allí ella ha actuado como prostituta.
Y díjome Jehová en días del rey Josías: ¿Has visto lo que ha hecho la rebelde Israel? Vase ella sobre todo monte alto y debajo de todo árbol umbroso, y allí fornica.
The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
Moreover, the LORD said to me in the days of Josiah the king, “Have you seen that which backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and has played the prostitute there.
Yo dije: 'Luego que ella haga todas estas cosas, ella regresará a Mí,' pero ella no regresó. Entonces, su infiel hermana Judá vio estas cosas.
Y dije después que hizo todo esto: Vuélvete á mí; mas no se volvió. Y vió la rebelde su hermana Judá,
And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.

Así que, Yo ví eso, en la misma manera que la infiel Israel había cometido adulterio y Yo la había enviado lejos y le había dado un certificado de divorcio en contra de ella, su infiel hermana Judá no tuvo miedo; ella también salió y actuó como prostituta.
Que yo lo había visto; que por todas estas causas en las cuales fornicó la rebelde Israel, yo la había despedido, y dádole la carta de su repudio; y no tuvo temor la rebelde Judá su hermana, sino que también fué ella y fornicó.
And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
I saw when, for this very cause, that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce, yet treacherous Judah, her sister, had no fear, but she also went and played the prostitute.
Su prostitución fue nada para ella; ella contaminó la tierra, y ella cometió adulterio con piedras y árboles.
Y sucedió que por la liviandad de su fornicación la tierra fué contaminada, y adulteró con la piedra y con el leño.
And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
Because she took her prostitution lightly, the land was polluted, and she committed adultery with stones and with wood.
Entonces, después de todo esto, su infiel hermana Judá regresó a Mí, no con todo su corazón, pero con una mentira--esta es la declaración del SEÑOR."
Y con todo esto, la rebelde su hermana Judá no se tornó á mí de todo su corazón, sino mentirosamente, dice Jehová.
And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.

Entonces, el SEÑOR me dijo a mí: "¡La infiel Israel ha sido más justa que la infiel Judá!
Y díjome Jehová: Justificado ha su alma la rebelde Israel en comparación de la desleal Judá.
And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.
The LORD said to me, “Backsliding Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.
Ve y proclama estas palabras en el norte. Di: '¡Regresa, infiel Israel! --esta es la declaración del SEÑOR--Yo no siempre estaré enojado contigo. Ya que soy fiel--esta es la declaración del SEÑOR--Yo no estaré enojado por siempre.
Ve, y clama estas palabras hacia el aquilón, y di: Vuélvete, oh rebelde Israel, dice Jehová; no haré caer mi ira sobre vosotros: porque misericordioso soy yo, dice Jehová, no guardaré para siempre el enojo.
Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

Reconoce tu iniquidad, pues tú has pecado en contra del SEÑOR tu Dios; ¡tú has compartido tus caminos con extraños bajo cada árbol frondoso! ¡Porque tú no has escuchado Mi voz! --esta es la declaración del SEÑOR.
Conoce empero tu maldad, porque contra Jehová tu Dios has prevaricado, y tus caminos has derramado á los extraños debajo de todo árbol umbroso, y no oiste mi voz, dice Jehová.
Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.

¡Regresen, pueblo infiel! --esta es la declaración del SEÑOR--¡Yo soy tu esposo! Yo te tomaré, uno de una ciudad y dos de una familia, y Yo te traeré a Sion!

Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
“Return, backsliding children,” says the LORD, “for I am a husband to you. I will take one of you from a city, and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.
Yo te daré pastores según Mi corazón, y ellos te pastorearán con conocimiento y visión.
Y os daré pastores según mi corazón, que os apacienten de ciencia y de inteligencia.
And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Entonces, será que tú crecerás y darás fruto en la tierra en esos días--esta es la declaración del SEÑOR--ellos ya no dirán: "¡El arca del pacto del SEÑOR!" Este asunto ya no vendrá a sus corazones o será recordado; no será extrañado, y algún otro no será hecho.'
Y acontecerá, que cuando os multiplicareis y creciereis en la tierra, en aquellos días, dice Jehová, no se dirá más: Arca del pacto de Jehová; ni vendrá al pensamiento, ni se acordarán de ella, ni la visitarán, ni se hará más.
And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

En aquel tiempo, ellos proclamarán sobre Jerusalén: 'Este es el trono del SEÑOR,' y todas las otras naciones se reunirán en Jerusalén en el nombre del SEÑOR. Ellos ya no caminarán en la terquedad de sus corazones malignos.

At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.
At that time they will call Jerusalem ‘The LORD’s Throne;’ and all the nations will be gathered to it, to the LORD’s name, to Jerusalem. They will no longer walk after the stubbornness of their evil heart.
En esos días, la casa de Judá caminará con la casa de Israel. Ellos se juntarán desde la tierra del norte hasta la tierra que le di a tus ancestros como herencia.
En aquellos tiempos irán de la casa de Judá á la casa de Israel, y vendrán juntamente de tierra del aquilón á la tierra que hice heredar á vuestros padres.
In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

Como para Mí, Yo digo: 'Cómo quiero Yo honrarte a ti como Mi hijo y darte una tierra agradable, ¡una herencia más hermosa que lo que hay en cualquier otra nación! Yo hubiera dicho: 'Tú me llamarás: "Mi Padre".' Yo hubiera dicho que tú no dejarías de seguirme.
Yo empero dije: ¿Cómo te pondré por hijos, y te daré la tierra deseable, la rica heredad de los ejércitos de las gentes? Y dije: Padre mío me llamarás, y no te apartarás de en pos de mí.
But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.
“But I said, ‘How I desire to put you among the children, and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the armies of the nations!’ and I said, ‘You shall call me “My Father”, and shall not turn away from following me.’
Pero como una mujer infiel a su esposo, tú me has traicionado, casa de Israel--esta es la declaración del SEÑOR."
Mas como la esposa quiebra la fe de su compañero, así prevaricasteis contra mí, oh casa de Israel, dice Jehová.
Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.
“Surely as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so you have dealt treacherously with me, house of Israel,” says the LORD.
Una voz se oye en las planicies, ¡el llanto y el ruego de la gente de Israel! Pues ellos han cambiado sus caminos; ellos se han olvidado del SEÑOR su Dios.
Voz sobre las alturas fué oída, llanto de los ruegos de los hijos de Israel; porque han torcido su camino, de Jehová su Dios se han olvidado.
A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God.

"¡Regresen, pueblo infiel! ¡Yo los sanaré de la traición!" "¡Mira! ¡Nosotros vendremos a Ti, porque Tú eres el SEÑOR nuestro Dios!
Convertíos, hijos rebeldes, sanaré vuestras rebeliones. He aquí nosotros venimos á ti; porque tú eres Jehová nuestro Dios.
Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.

Ciertamente, las mentiras vienen de las montañas, un sonido confuso desde las montañas; ciertamente, el SEÑOR nuestro Dios es la salvación de Israel.
Ciertamente vanidad son los collados, la multitud de los montes: ciertamente en Jehová nuestro Dios está la salud de Israel.
Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.
Truly help from the hills, the tumult on the mountains, is in vain. Truly the salvation of Israel is in the LORD our God.
Aún así, vergonzosos ídolos han consumido lo que nuestros antepasados han conseguido trabajando--¡sus rebaños y ganados, sus hijos y sus hijas!
