Si dice comunemente: Se un uomo ripudia la propria moglie, e questa andatasene da lui prende un altro marito, ritornerà egli mai più a lei il primo? Non sarebb'ella colei immonda, e contaminata? Ma tu con molti amatori hai peccato, e con tutto questo il Signore dice: Ritorna a me, ed io ti riceverò.
DICEN: Si alguno dejare su mujer, y yéndose ésta de él se juntare á otro hombre, ¿volverá á ella más? ¿no será tal tierra del todo amancillada? Tú pues has fornicado con muchos amigos; mas vuélvete á mí, dijo Jehová.
They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.
