14On accomplit les préceptes de Jonadab, fils de Réchab, lesquels il a donnés comme règle à ses fils, de ne point boire de vin, et ils n'en ont pas bu jusques aujourd'hui, car ils sont dociles à l'ordre de leur père ; et moi je vous ai parlé dès le matin, et vous ne m'obéissez pas !

14Fué firme la palabra de Jonadab hijo de Rechâb, el cual mandó á sus hijos que no bebiesen vino, y no lo han bebido hasta hoy, por obedecer al mandamiento de su padre; y yo os he hablado á vosotros, madrugando y hablando, y no me habéis oído.

14The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.
