Jeremías 27

1No início do reinado de Zedequias, filho de Josias, rei de Judá, esta palavra veio de Yahweh a Jeremias.
2Isto é o que Yahweh me disse: "Faze para ti grilhões e jugos, e coloca-os em teu pescoço.
3E manda também grilhões e jugos para o rei de Edom, para o rei de Moabe, para o rei de Amom, para o rei de Tiro e para o rei de Sidom. Envia-os através das mãos dos mensageiros que vieram a Jerusalém ter com Zedequias, rei de Judá.
4Ordena-lhes que falem aos seus senhores, dizendo: Yahweh dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel, diz: Assim direis aos vossos senhores:
5Eu fiz a terra com Meu grande poder e com o Meu braço estendido. Também fiz as pessoas e os animais sobre a terra, e os dou a quem me apraz.
6E, agora, entrego todas estas terras nas mãos de Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, meu servo. Também lhe dou os seres vivos dos campos para servi-lo.
7Todas as nações servirão a ele, a seu filho e a seus netos até o tempo final de sua terra, quando muitas nações e poderosos reis o subjugarão.
8Se alguma nação e reino não servirem a Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, e não se submeterem ao rei da Babilônia, eu os castigarei com espada, fome e praga — esta é a declaração de Yahweh — até que Eu, pelas suas mãos, a destrua.
9E vós, não mais escuteis vossos profetas, vossos adivinhos, vossos videntes, intérpretes de sonhos e feiticeiros que vos falam: 'Não sirvais o rei da Babilônia'.
10Eles profetizam mentiras a fim de enviar-vos para longe de vossas terras, para que Eu vos expulse e, assim, pereçais.
11Mas a nação que se submeter ao rei da Babilônia e o servir, permitirei que descansem na sua terra — esta é a declaração de Yahweh — e eles a cultivarão e nela farão moradias."
12Então, falei com Zedequias, rei de Judá, e lhe entreguei esta mensagem: "Submete-te ao jugo do rei da Babilônia, serve a ele e ao seu povo e viverás.
13Por que morreríeis — tu e teu povo — pela espada, fome e praga, como declarou Yahweh a respeito da nação que se recusar a submeter-se ao rei da Babilônia?
14Não deis ouvidos às palavras dos profetas que vos dizem: 'Não sirvais ao rei da Babilônia', pois eles estão profetizando mentiras.
15Porque não os enviei — esta é a declaração de Yahweh — eles profetizam mentiras em Meu nome, para que Eu vos expulse e pereçais, vós e os profetas que vos profetizam.
16Proclamei aos sacerdotes e a todo povo dizendo: "Yahweh diz: não deis ouvidos às palavras de vossos profetas que dizem: 'Vede! Os objetos pertencentes à Casa de Yahweh estão voltando da Babilônia agora!' Eles vos profetizam mentiras.
17Não lhes deis ouvidos, servi ao rei da Babilônia e vivereis. Por que trazer ruína à cidade?
18Se eles são profetas e se, de fato, a palavra de Yahweh está com eles, que intercedam a Yahweh dos Exércitos, para que não sejam levados à Babilônia os objetos que ainda estão em sua casa, na casa do rei de Judá e em Jerusalém.
19Assim diz Yahweh dos Exércitos sobre as colunas, o tanque, os suportes e o que sobrou dos utensílios nesta cidade,
20os quais Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, não tomou quando levou cativo Jeconias, filho de Jeoaquim, rei de Judá, de Jerusalém para a Babilônia com todos os nobres de Judá e de Jerusalém.
21Yahweh dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel, diz a respeito dos utensílios que permaneceram na Casa de Yahweh, na casa do rei de Judá e em Jerusalém:
22'Eles serão trazidos para Babilônia, e ali ficarão até o dia em que Eu determinar — esta é a declaração de Yahweh — então, Eu os trarei e os devolverei a este lugar."

1EN el principio del reinado de Joacim hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, fué de Jehová esta palabra á Jeremías, diciendo:
2Jehová me ha dicho así: Hazte coyundas y yugos, y ponlos sobre tu cuello;
3Y los enviarás al rey de Edom, y al rey de Moab, y al rey de los hijos de Ammón, y al rey de Tiro, y al rey de Sidón, por mano de los embajadores que vienen á Jerusalem á Sedechîas, rey de Judá.
4Y les mandarás que digan á sus señores: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Así habéis de decir á vuestros señores:
5Yo hice la tierra, el hombre y las bestias que están sobre la haz de la tierra, con mi grande potencia y con mi brazo extendido, y díla á quien me plugo.
6Y ahora yo he dado todas estas tierras en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, mi siervo, y aun las bestias del campo le he dado para que le sirvan.
7Y todas las gentes le servirán á él, y á su hijo, y al hijo de su hijo, hasta que venga también el tiempo de su misma tierra; y le servirán muchas gentes y reyes grandes.
8Y será, que la gente y el reino que no sirviere á Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y que no pusiere su cuello debajo del yugo del rey de Babilonia, con espada y con hambre y con pestilencia visitaré á la tal gente, dice Jehová, hasta que los acabe yo por su mano.
9Y vosotros no prestéis oído á vuestros profetas, ni á vuestros adivinos, ni á vuestros sueños, ni á vuestros agoreros, ni á vuestros encantadores, que os hablan diciendo: No serviréis al rey de Babilonia.
10Porque ellos os profetizan mentira, por haceros alejar de vuestra tierra, y para que yo os arroje y perezcáis.
11Mas la gente que sometiere su cuello al yugo del rey de Babilonia, y le sirviere, haréla dejar en su tierra, dice Jehová, y labrarála, y morará en ella.
12Y hablé también á Sedechîas rey de Judá conforme á todas estas palabras, diciendo: Someted vuestros cuellos al yugo del rey de Babilonia, y servid á él y á su pueblo, y vivid.
13¿Por qué moriréis, tú y tu pueblo, á cuchillo, de hambre, y pestilencia, según ha dicho Jehová á la gente que no sirviere al rey de Babilonia?
14No oigáis las palabras de los profetas que os hablan, diciendo: No serviréis al rey de Babilonia; porque os profetizan mentira.
15Porque yo no los envié, dice Jehová, y ellos profetizan falsamente en mi nombre, para que yo os arroje, y perezcáis, vosotros y los profetas que os profetizan.
16También á los sacerdotes y á todo este pueblo hablé, diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová: No oigáis las palabras de vuestros profetas que os profetizan diciendo: He aquí que los vasos de la casa de Jehová volverán de Babilonia ahora presto. Porque os profetizan mentira.
17No los oigáis; servid al rey de Babilonia, y vivid: ¿por qué ha de ser desierta esta ciudad?
18Y si ellos son profetas, y si es con ellos palabra de Jehová, oren ahora á Jehová de los ejércitos, que los vasos que han quedado en la casa de Jehová y en la casa del rey de Judá y en Jerusalem, no vayan á Babilonia.
19Porque así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos de aquellas columnas, y del mar, y de las basas, y del resto de los vasos que quedan en esta ciudad,
20Que no quitó Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, cuando trasportó de Jerusalem á Babilonia á Jechônías hijo de Joacim, rey de Judá, y á todos los nobles de Judá y de Jerusalem:
21Así pues ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, acerca de los vasos que quedaron en la casa de Jehová, y en la casa del rey de Judá, y en Jerusalem:
22A Babilonia serán trasportados, y allí estarán hasta el día en que yo los visitaré, dice Jehová; y después los haré subir, y restituirélos á este lugar.

1In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,
3And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;
4And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;
5I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
6And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
7And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.
8And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
9Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:
10For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.
11But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
12I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
13Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
14Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
15For I have not sent them, saith the LORD, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
16Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD’s house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
17Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?
18But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.
19For thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city,
20Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
21Yea, thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;
22They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.

3Then send them to the king of Edom, to the king of Moab, to the king of the children of Ammon, to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.
4Give them a command to their masters, saying, ‘The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel says, “You shall tell your masters:
5‘I have made the earth, the men, and the animals that are on the surface of the earth by my great power and by my outstretched arm. I give it to whom it seems right to me.
6Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant. I have also given the animals of the field to him to serve him.

13Why will you die, you and your people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD has spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
14Don’t listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, ‘You shall not serve the king of Babylon;’ for they prophesy a lie to you.
15For I have not sent them,” says the LORD, “but they prophesy falsely in my name; that I may drive you out, and that you may perish, you, and the prophets who prophesy to you.”
16Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, the LORD says, “Don’t listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, ‘Behold, the vessels of the LORD’s house will now shortly be brought again from Babylon;’ for they prophesy a lie to you.
17Don’t listen to them. Serve the king of Babylon, and live. Why should this city become a desolation?
18But if they are prophets, and if the LORD’s word is with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of Armies, that the vessels which are left in the LORD’s house, in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, don’t go to Babylon.
19For the LORD of Armies says concerning the pillars, concerning the sea, concerning the bases, and concerning the rest of the vessels that are left in this city,
