17Immerfort sprechen sie zu meinen Verächtern: Jahwe hat geredet: Heil wird euch zu teil! Und mögen auch alle starrsinnig ihrem eigenen Sinne folgen, so sprechen sie doch: Es wird mit nichten Unheil über euch kommen!

17They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

17They say continually to those who despise me, ‘The LORD has said, “You will have peace;”’ and to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, ‘No evil will come on you.’
