Jeremías 1

Tu adunque cingi i tuoi fianchi, e sorgi, e di a costoro tutto quello, ch'io ti comando. Non aver paura della loro faccia: imperocché io farò, che tu non abbi paura de' loro sguardi;

Tú pues, ciñe tus lomos, y te levantarás, y les hablarás todo lo que te mandaré: no temas delante de ellos, porque no te haga yo quebrantar delante de ellos.

Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.

“You therefore put your belt on your waist, arise, and say to them all that I command you. Don’t be dismayed at them, lest I dismay you before them.
