Jeremías 18

Parola detta a Geremia dal Signore, che disse:

LA palabra que fué á Jeremías de Jehová, diciendo:

Sorgi, e va a casa del vasaio, ed ivi udirai le mie parole.

Levántate, y vete á casa del alfarero, y allí te haré oir mis palabras.

Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

“Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear my words.”

Ed io andai a casa del vasaio, ed egli lavorava alla ruota.

Y descendí á casa del alfarero, y he aquí que él hacía obra sobre la rueda.

Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.

E il vaso, ch'egli faceva di creta, si sciolse nelle sue mani: e subitamente fece di quello un altro vaso della forma, che a lui parve.

Y el vaso que él hacía de barro se quebró en la mano del alfarero; y tornó é hízolo otro vaso, según que al alfarero pareció mejor hacerlo.

And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

E il Signore parlommi, dicendo:

Entonces fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Non potrò io forse fare a voi, casa d'Israele, come ha fatto questo vasaio, dice il Signore? Siccome la terra è in mano del vasaio, così voi, casa d'Israele, nella mano mia.

¿No podré yo hacer de vosotros como este alfarero, oh casa de Israel, dice Jehová? He aquí que como el barro en la mano del alfarero, así sois vosotros en mi mano, oh casa de Israel.

O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

“House of Israel, can’t I do with you as this potter?” says the LORD. “Behold, as the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, house of Israel.

Io repentinamente minaccerò una nazione, ed un regno di sradicarlo, distruggerlo, ed annichilarlo.

En un instante hablaré contra gentes y contra reinos, para arrancar, y disipar, y destruir.

At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

At the instant I speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up and to break down and to destroy it,

Se quella nazione farà penitenza del suo male, che io le rimproverai, mi ripentirò io pure del mal, che pensava di farle.

Empero si esas gentes se convirtieren de su maldad, de que habré hablado, yo me arrepentiré del mal que había pensado hacerles.

If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

if that nation, concerning which I have spoken, turns from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do to them.

Repentinamente ancora parlerò io di felicitare, e fondare una nazione, od un regno.

Y en un instante hablaré de la gente y del reino, para edificar y para plantar;

And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

At the instant I speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it,

Se questa farà il male sugli occhi miei, e non udirà la mia voce, io mi ripentirò del bene, che avea detto di farle.

Pero si hiciere lo malo delante de mis ojos, no oyendo mi voz, arrepentiréme del bien que había determinado hacerle.

If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

if they do that which is evil in my sight, that they don’t obey my voice, then I will repent of the good with which I said I would benefit them.

Tu dunque adesso dì agli uomini di Giuda, e agli abitatori di Gerusalemme: Queste cose dice il Signore: Ecco, che io vo formando per voi un male, ed ho de' pensieri contro di voi: si converta ognuno di voi dalla sua mala vita, raddirizzate le vostre vie, e le vostre inclinazioni.

Ahora pues habla luego á todo hombre de Judá, y á los moradores de Jerusalem, diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que yo dispongo mal contra vosotros, y trazo contra vosotros designios: conviértase ahora cada uno de su mal camino, y mejorad vuestros caminos y vuestras obras.

Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.

“Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, ‘The LORD says: “Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a plan against you. Everyone return from his evil way now, and amend your ways and your doings.”’

Quelli hanno detto: Non abbiam più speranza: perocché anderem seguendo i nostri pensieri, e farem ciascheduno quel, che gli suggerisce la depravazione del cattivo suo cuore.

Y dijeron: Es por demás: porque en pos de nuestras imaginaciones hemos de ir, y hemos de hacer cada uno el pensamiento de su malvado corazón.

And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.

But they say, ‘It is in vain; for we will walk after our own plans, and we will each follow the stubbornness of his evil heart.’”

Quindi il Signore parla così: Domandate alle nazioni: chi mai udì cose tali, e sì orrende, quali purtroppo ha fatte la vergine d'Israele?

Por tanto, así dijo Jehová: Preguntad ahora á las gentes, quién tal haya oído. Gran fealdad ha hecho la virgen de Israel.

Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ask ye now among the heathen, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing.

Therefore the LORD says: “Ask now among the nations, ‘Who has heard such things?’ The virgin of Israel has done a very horrible thing.

Può ella mancare la neve del Libano nei massi della pianura? o può ella esaurirsi la scaturigine di fresca acqua corrente?

¿Faltará la nieve del Líbano de la piedra del campo? ¿faltarán las aguas frías que corren de lejanas tierras?

Will a man leave the snow of Lebanon which cometh from the rock of the field? or shall the cold flowing waters that come from another place be forsaken?

Will the snow of Lebanon fail from the rock of the field? Will the cold waters that flow down from afar be dried up?

Ma il popolo mio si è scordato di me, facendo libagioni alla vanità, e trovando inciampo nelle sue vie, nelle vie antiche, facendo per esse non piano, né facil viaggio.

Porque mi pueblo me ha olvidado, incensando á la vanidad, y hácenles tropezar en sus caminos, en las sendas antiguas, para que caminen por sendas, por camino no hollado;

Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up;

For my people have forgotten me. They have burned incense to false gods. They have been made to stumble in their ways in the ancient paths, to walk in byways, in a way not built up,

Per ridurre la loro terra in desolazione, ed in ischerno sempiterno: il passaggiero, che la vedrà, rimarrà stupefatto, e scuoterà la sua testa.

Para poner su tierra en desolación, y en silbos perpetuos; todo aquel que pasare por ella se maravillará, y meneará su cabeza.

To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

to make their land an astonishment, and a perpetual hissing. Everyone who passes by it will be astonished, and shake his head.

Qual vento ardente io gli spergerò davanti al nemico: volgerò loro le spalle, e non la faccia nel dì della lor perdizione.

Como viento solano los esparciré delante del enemigo; mostraréles las espaldas, y no el rostro, en el día de su perdición.

I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will shew them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.

Ma quegli dissero: Venite; pensiam seriamente contro Geremia: perocché non resterà senza legge il sacerdote, senza consiglio il sapiente, senza parola il profeta: venite, trafiggiamolo colla lingua, e non badiamo a tutti, i suoi sermoni.

Y dijeron: Venid, y tracemos maquinaciones contra Jeremías; porque la ley no faltará del sacerdote, ni consejo del sabio, ni palabra del profeta. Venid é hirámoslo de lengua, y no miremos á todas sus palabras.

Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.

Then they said, “Come! Let’s devise plans against Jeremiah; for the law won’t perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let’s strike him with the tongue, and let’s not give heed to any of his words.”

Volgi, o Signore, lo sguardo verbo di me, e ascolta le voci de' miei avversari.

Oh Jehová, mira por mí, y oye la voz de los que contienden conmigo.

Give heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me.

Give heed to me, LORD, and listen to the voice of those who contend with me.

Così adunque rendesi mal per bene, dappoiché costoro hanno scavata una fossa per la mia vita? Ricordati com'io mi presentava al tuo cospetto per parlarti a loro favore, e per allontanare da essi il tuo sdegno.

¿Dase mal por bien, para que hayan cavado hoyo á mi alma? Acuérdate que me puse delante de ti para hablar bien por ellos, para apartar de ellos tu ira.

Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for them, and to turn away thy wrath from them.

Per questo abbandona tu i loro figli alla fame, e rimettili in balia della spada: le loro mogli si restino senza figli, e i loro mariti sian messi a morte: la gioventù sia trafitta dalla spada nella battaglia.

Por tanto, entrega sus hijos á hambre, y hazlos derramar por medio de la espada; y queden sus mujeres sin hijos, y viudas; y sus maridos sean puestos á muerte, y sus jóvenes heridos á cuchillo en la guerra.

Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle.

Le case loro rimbombino di clamori. Imperocché tu manderai sopra di loro improvvisamente il ladrone, perchè eglino han cavata la fossa per prendermi, ed han teso lacciuoli a' miei piedi.

Oigase clamor de sus casas, cuando trajeres sobre ellos ejército de repente: porque cavaron hoyo para prenderme, y á mis pies han escondido lazos.

Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.

Ma a te, o Signore, noti sono tutti i loro mortali disegni contro di me. Non perdonare alle loro iniquità, non si cancelli dinanzi a te il loro peccato; rovinino per terra al tuo cospetto, nel tempo del tuo furare consumali. Geremia spezzando il vaso di terra fa intendere, che il popolo perirà di spada, e di fame nell'assedio, quando i padri mangeranno i loro figliuoli; e tutto questo avverrà per la loro idolatria, e pel disprezzo della parola di Dio.

Mas tú, oh Jehová, conoces todo su consejo contra mí para muerte; no perdones su maldad, ni borres su pecado de delante de tu rostro: y tropiecen delante de ti; haz así con ellos en el tiempo de tu furor.

Yet, LORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thus with them in the time of thine anger.

Yet, LORD, you know all their counsel against me to kill me. Don’t forgive their iniquity. Don’t blot out their sin from your sight, Let them be overthrown before you. Deal with them in the time of your anger.
