Pour faire de leur pays une désolation, une dérision perpétuelle, en sorte que tous ceux qui y passent, s'étonnent et branlent la tête.

Para poner su tierra en desolación, y en silbos perpetuos; todo aquel que pasare por ella se maravillará, y meneará su cabeza.

To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

to make their land an astonishment, and a perpetual hissing. Everyone who passes by it will be astonished, and shake his head.
