Jeremías 17

Imperocché ei sarà simile al tamarisco del deserto, e non gioverà a lui il bene quando venga: ma starà al secco nel deserto in un terren salso, e inabitabile.

Pues será como la retama en el desierto, y no verá cuando viniere el bien; sino que morará en las securas en el desierto, en tierra despoblada y deshabitada.

For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

For he will be like a bush in the desert, and will not see when good comes, but will inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, an uninhabited salt land.
