Jeremías 17

Ellos no escucharon o prestaron atención, sino que endurecieron sus cuellos para que ellos no Me escucharan ni aceptaran disciplina.

Mas ellos no oyeron, ni inclinaron su oído, antes endurecieron su cerviz, por no oir, ni recibir corrección.

But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.

But they didn’t listen. They didn’t turn their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, and might not receive instruction.
