und groß und klein sollen in diesem Lande sterben, ohne daß man sie begräbt, noch ihnen die Totenklage hält, noch auch ihretwegen sich Einritzungen macht oder eine Glatze schert.

Y morirán en esta tierra grandes y chicos: no se enterrarán, ni los plañirán, ni se arañarán, ni se mesarán por ellos;

Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:

Both great and small will die in this land. They will not be buried. Men won’t lament for them, cut themselves, or make themselves bald for them.
